See what uniform tops Ohio State will be wearing in the Chick-fil-a Peach Bowl

They Buckeyes will look good on NYE #GoBucks

The Buckeyes always bring the swagger, especially when they wear different uniforms. Their affiliation with [autotag]Nike[/autotag] enables them to have multiple sets of tops and bottoms, and they are usually some of the best. For Bowl games, [autotag]Ohio State[/autotag] always brings out its best and that’s exactly what we saw. Its official twitter account released which tops the Buckeyes will be wearing.

They will be in their road white, with red numbers, scarlet and gray piping on the sleeves with a [autotag]Peach Bowl[/autotag] logo on the left shoulder. A neat addition to the uniform is the fight on the back collar, which is a reminder of the Buckeyes core values.

At some point, these will be available for purchase. For now, we have a teaser of what the Buckeyes will wear on New Year’s Eve against [autotag]Georgia[/autotag].

My wife ranks the Big Ten uniforms

This list is going to be… interesting.

Last Sunday, my wife ranked all the Big Ten mascots. That idea was very well received, so she asked if she could come back and rank the uniforms of all the teams in the conference. If your school has a red uniform, then I’ll say this, I’m sorry. She just didn’t like how many Big Ten schools wore either red or some variation of the color red on their uniform. Everything on this list is flipped and mixed around.

If you’ve enjoyed this series, then fret not, as we’ll be back again next week as she takes a closer looker at Big Ten team helmets. But for now, it’s time to look at the list of who my wife thinks has the best and the worst uniforms among all the Big Ten teams. Her final words about this list were, “everyone is going to be mad at me.” I reassured her that isn’t true… unless you’re an Ohio State fan.

The definitive ranking of the best football uniforms in the Big Ten

It’s May during a pandemic. Let’s rank some uniforms!

Recently Rivals took a shot at ranking the best football uniforms in the Big Ten and frankly, they did a bad job. The list is all over the place. Parts of it seem to be put together by human embodiments of an Encyclopedia Britannica circa 1937 and some of it by millennials. They also take some alternate uniforms into account while ignoring others. It’s a mess.

Today I’m going to fix their errors and come up with a uniform ranking that surely not a single person on this beautiful planet of ours will disagree with. NOT ONE. That may seem like an impossible mission, and if so, consider me Tom Cruise. I’ll get it done with Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames at my side.

I’ll be ranking based on standard uniforms used for home and away games during the 2019 season. No crazy alternates. No fuss. If it’s not part of the regular rotation, it’s outta here. With that said, let’s start by making fun of Maryland.

14. Maryland

Jesse Johnson-USA TODAY Sports

Maryland has been taking huge Ls in the uniform game since they revamped their look a handful of years ago. Outside of the Terps, the Big Ten is a really solid conference when it comes to uniforms. The helmets are always doing too much and while I respect them for trying to incorporate such a unique state flag into their look, it just rarely ever works. The black on black on black look is their best and it’s still held down by the lid. The rest is just blahhhhhhhhhwful.
