Previewing the Ohio State at Michigan Week 13 matchup, with college football odds, trends and head-to-head records.

The No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes (10-1, 8-0 Big Ten) and No. 6 Michigan Wolverines (10-1, 7-1) meet for The Game Saturday at noon ET at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Mich. Below, we look at the Ohio State vs. Michigan odds and lines; check back for our college football picks and predictions.

Ohio State throttled Michigan State 56-7 Saturday and has won nine straight games since losing to then-No. 11 Oregon on Sept. 11. The nation’s top offense (total yards, points) won seven of those nine by a margin of 21 points or more.

Freshman QB CJ Stroud went 32-for-35 for 432 yards and six touchdowns against the Spartans. Stroud has thrown four or more TD passes in six games this season, and he totes a completion percentage of 71.1%.

The Wolverines have won three straight games since losing at Michigan State Oct. 30. Michigan scored 59 points in a win at Maryland Saturday and is in the top-25 nationally in scoring, total yards, and rushing yards.

A stingy Michigan defense that ranks seventh in scoring and ninth in total yards has yielded just one 400-yard game all season (Oct. 9 against Nebraska).

Ohio State at Michigan head-to-head

In a series that dates back to 1897, Michigan leads 58-51-6. When legendary head coach Woody Hayes took the reins of the OSU program in 1951, the Buckeyes had won just 11-of-47 meetings against their neighbors to the North. Since then, Ohio State is 40-26-2 against Michigan, including a current eight-game win streak in the series. OSU is 15-1 vs. UM since 2004. Last year’s game was nixed due to COVID-19 protocols.

The Buckeyes are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 meetings with the Wolverines and are 6-2 ATS across their last eight games at the Big House. The Over has hit in seven straight Ohio State-Michigan games and is 5-0 in the last five series games in Ann Arbor.

Previewing the Purdue Boilermakers at Ohio State Buckeyes Week 11 matchup, with college football odds, trends and head-to-head records.

The Purdue Boilermakers (6-3, 4-2 Big Ten) and No. 5 Ohio State Buckeyes (8-1, 6-0) lock horns and match wits in a Saturday battle in Columbus, Ohio. The Big Ten crossover foes will meet at 3:30 p.m. ET at venerable Ohio Stadium. Below, we look at the Purdue vs. Ohio State odds and lines; check back for our college football picks and predictions.

Purdue upset then-No. 6 Michigan State 40-29 last week. The Boilermakers racked up 536 passing yards, marking the second-most passing yards MSU has ever allowed. For the season, Purdue ranks eighth in FBS, piling up 332.6 passing yards per contest.

The Buckeyes defeated the Nebraska Cornhuskers 26-17 in Lincoln, Neb. A normally efficient Ohio State offense (ranked third in the nation in total yards with 542.1 per game and second in points per game with 44.9 per contest) struggled to move the ball at times. The Bucks were held to just nine second-half points, and their 26 total points marked their lowest for a single game since January’s National Championship Game against Alabama (24 points).

The Buckeyes were undone by 10 penalties and were slow to get their top-flight offense on track against a solid PSU defense. But OSU would eventually get 152 rushing yards from freshman RB TreVeyon Henderson and grind out the two-score victory.

The Cornhuskers suffered its third consecutive setback with a 28-23 home loss to Purdue. Nebraska was held to just six points in the game’s second half. All six of the Huskers’ losses this season — and nine of the program’s last 10 since last fall — have been by one score.

First look: Ohio State at Rutgers odds and lines

Previewing the Ohio State at Rutgers Week 5 matchup, with college football odds, trends and head-to-head records.

The Ohio State Buckeyes (3-1) and Rutgers Scarlet Knights (3-1) meet Saturday afternoon for a Big Ten East contest at SHI Stadium in Piscataway, N.J. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Ohio State vs. Rutgers odds and lines; check back for our college football picks and predictions.

Ohio State defeated Akron 59-7 Saturday and has scored 100 points in two wins since falling to Oregon Sept. 11. The Buckeyes have had some defensive issues and it has been a bit of a rocky start to the career of whoever replaces QB Justin FieldsC.J. Stroud or Kyle McCord. However, freshman RB TreVeyon Henderson has been impressive in moving the chains for OSU.

Henderson has registered 9.5 yards per carry and has scored 6 touchdowns. He figures to be a key weapon against a Rutgers team that has yielded just 3.3 YPC so far.

The Scarlet Knights are coming off a 20-13 loss at Michigan after starting the season 3-0 for the first time since 2012. Rutgers now returns to Piscataway where, with two wins, it has already eclipsed last year’s home victory total (zero).

RU heads into the home tilt against the Buckeyes ranked seventh in the nation in scoring defense (13.5 points per game allowed) and 11th in total defense (265.0 yards allowed per game).

First look: Akron at Ohio State odds and lines

Previewing the Akron at Ohio State Week 4 matchup, with college football odds, trends and head-to-head records.

The Akron Zips (1-2) visit the Ohio State Buckeyes (2-1) in a Saturday night non-conference affair at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Akron vs. Ohio State odds and lines; check back for our college football picks and predictions.

Akron is coming off its first win of the season, a 35-14 triumph over FCS Bryant. That game was closer than the final score would reveal: the Zips and Bulldogs went into the fourth quarter tied at 14-14. UA played an all-Mid-American Conference schedule in 2020 and went 1-5 with 41.3 points per game allowed (122nd FBS).

Ohio State was looking to bounce back from its Sept. 11 setback against Oregon against Tulsa last week but for a third time this season, the Buckeyes defense struggled and OSU escaped a late-game one-score spread in an eventual 41-20 victory. Ohio State allowed 501 yards in the game and the Buckeyes rank 118th in the nation with 471.3 yards per game allowed.
