Report: Ohio State to host 2024 4-star Wisconsin small forward

A big visit for the Buckeyes

[autotag]Ohio State[/autotag] basketball is still searching for players that will fit well with their lone current 2024 commit, point guard Juni Mobley.

Head coach [autotag]Chris Holtmann[/autotag] is looking for versatile wings and they might have found a match in Wisconsin small forward [autotag]Kon Knueppel[/autotag]. The 6-foot, 5-inch and 205 forward is among the best players in the country, the 12th best at his position and 33rd nationally according to the 247Sports composite.

In a report by 247Sports Travis Branham, Knueppel told him that Ohio State is one of two visits that he will make in the month of June, along with Louisville.

Knueppel has really taken a step foward during the AAU season, and would be a massive recruiting win for the Buckeyes if he commits.

Ohio State basketball offers top Georgia 2024 wing

The Buckeyes offer the versatile wing #GoBucks

[autotag]Ohio State[/autotag] basketball has done a great job at finding players who can play multiple positions, creating roster flexibility.

The interchangeability makes it much easier for head coach [autotag]Chris Holtmann[/autotag]to play his 4-out, 1-in offensive system. The roster is full of wing players, who can shoot from the outside and slash to the rim.

It should come as no surprise that Holtmann targets recruits with those traits, recently offering 2024 Georgia wing [autotag]Derrion Reid[/autotag]. The 6-foot, 7-inch and 180 pound wing has guard skills with a shooters touch. He is rated as the 8th best power forward and 53rd overall player by the 247Sports composite.

Ohio State basketball offers another Ohioan, this time a 2025 power forward

The instate hoops focus continues for Holtmann #GoBucks

[autotag]Ohio State[/autotag] head coach [autotag]Chris Holtmann[/autotag] is trying to have the Buckeye future recruiting classes possess a big-time local flavor.

Recently the focus was on the 2026 class with instate offers to T.J. Crumble and Marcus Johnson. There’s another Buckeye caliber player in the state and that’s 2025 power forward [autotag]Nikola Bundalo[/autotag].

The Uniontown forward was offered by Ohio State recently as multiple other schools did the same. It was quite the day for the 6-foot, 9-inch Bundalo. The athletic big-man performed very well at multiple recent showcases that obviously has caught the attention of college coaches, Holtmann included.

Bundalo isn’t rated by any of the major services, but that should change when there is an update. A player with his size and ability who holds multiple Power Five scholarship offers is bound to be ranked.

Ohio State basketball offers instate 2026 small forward

The Buckeyes are looking at keeping the best instate in 2026 #GoBucks

Over the last two recruiting classes, [autotag]Ohio State[/autotag] basketball has signed 3 out of 9 players from their home state. If the offers going out to 2026 prospects are any indication, it seems like head coach [autotag]Chris Holtmann[/autotag] is trying to create a fence around the states top prospects.

Recently point guard Marcus Johnson was offered a scholarship and now another Ohioan from his class has been, small forward [autotag]T.J. Crumble[/autotag].

At 6-foot, 8-inches, and 195 pounds, Crumble brings an element of size that the Buckeye roster would love to have. Although he isn’t ranked at the moment, not many 2026 prospects are, he is still viewed as one of the best players in the country.

These two offers are very big, especially considering how far out Crumble and Johnson are. The two know each other as well, as they are shown here working out together. Smart move by Holtmann offering both of them.

Ohio State basketball offers instate 2026 rising star point guard

The Buckeyes are quick to offer the freshman star #GoBucks

It will be more than a few years until Garfield Heights, Ohio’s, [autotag]Marcus Johnson,[/autotag] will be able to sign with a collegiate team, but that didn’t stop [autotag]Ohio State[/autotag] from offering the talented point guard.

Head coach, [autotag]Chris Holtmann,[/autotag] didn’t need much high school tape to be impressed by Johnson’s game. This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise because his father Sonny, was named Ohio’s Mr. Basketball in 1998 and went on to play at Cleveland State.

Marcus is widely regarded as one of the best players in the country, ranking as the 16th overall play in the 2026 class via ESPN’s top 25 of that class.

With Ohio State getting an offer out so early in Johnson’s recruitment, you have to think that he’s an extremely high-priority recruit for Holtmann.

Ohio State Women’s basketball add transfer from Syracuse

Ohio State Women add Eboni Walker to an experienced roster poised to make another run this year.

The Ohio State women’s basketball program added another piece to next season’s roster earlier this week. Eboni Walker has committed to the Buckeyes and hopes to help build on the success from last year.

This will be the third stop for Walker who started her collegiate career as a Sundevil at Arizona State in 2019. She then transferred to Syracuse last season but only appeared in six games before an injury ended her year.

The Orange head coach, Quentin Hillsman resigned in early August of 2021 due to allegations of improper behavior and bullying by players. With the team in transition, Walker decided to move in a different direction once more.

Walker has career averages of 6.6 points per game and almost 5 rebounds per game. The Buckeyes return a solid core of players who made a trip to the Sweet 16 falling to No. 2 seed Texas by only three points. Ohio State should have the horses to compete for a Big Ten championship and make another deep run in the NCAA tournament.

Meet Ohio State basketball’s 2022 top ten recruiting class

Let us introduce you to Ohio State basketball’s 2022 recruiting class. #GoBucks

It’s official. All five members of Ohio State basketball’s 2022 class have signed their National Letters of Intent and will go down as Chris Holtmann’s best class to date. In fact, almost every single recruiting service has the class as a top ten one. Of course, it helps to bring in five members in one class, but the talent is also there, with the No. 41, 50, 63, 74, and 297 overall prospects according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

In case you haven’t been up to speed on each and every commit that you’ll see next year on a television or streaming device near you, we thought we’d give you a little background on each thanks to information provided from the fine folks with the OSU athletic department.

Here’s a rundown of the five-member 2022 Ohio State basketball recruiting class that 247Sports has ranked as the top in the Big Ten and sixth overall in the country.

Four-star small forward Brice Sensabaugh commits to Ohio State

Ohio State landed another big one for the hoops 2022 class on Tuesday.

Four-star power forward Brice Sensabaugh is coming to Ohio State as a member of the 2022 recruiting class that now has five guys in the fold.

Out of Lake Highland Prep in Orlando, Florida, Sensabaugh is ranked as the No. 21 small forward and 75th overall prospect in the class according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Sensabaugh chose Ohio State among a final four of  OSU, Alabama, Georgia Tech, and Florida.

At 6-foot, 6-inches, and 240-pounds, Sensabaugh was thought to be a heavy lean to Ohio State due to it being his father’s alma mater, and with some family still living in Columbus. Sensabaugh is also AAU teammates with OSU commit Bruce Thorton.

With him a part of the class, Ohio State thinks it is getting a big body that can be a matchup nightmare. He can post smaller guards up in the post, yet has the range to cause problems for bigs trying to check him out on the perimeter.

Sensabaugh joins the aforementioned Thorton, Bowen Hardman, Roddy Gayle, and Felix Okpara in a class that is currently rated as a top-five one.

Ohio State basketball recruit to make decision Tuesday on Instagram live

Brice Sensabaugh set to announce his college decision on Tuesday.

The Ohio State basketball team is hoping to add another key piece to its 2022 recruiting class later today. Four-star prospect Brice Sensabaugh will make his college decision on Instagram live at 4 p.m. EDT.

Sensabaugh is a 6-5 small forward from Orlando, Florida, and is ranked as a top 100 overall player according to 247 Sports composite rankings. Sensabaugh has narrowed his choice to four programs which include OSU, Alabama, Florida, and Georgia Tech. Crystal ball predictions are going for the Buckeyes with high confidence of seven out of ten.

Currently, Ohio State sits with the No. 5 overall recruiting class in the nation but has been ranked as high as No. 1 overall. Should Sensabaugh choose the Bucks, it would give the class ranking another boost.

Sensabaugh is originally from Ohio and his father attended Ohio State. He would be joining four other commits who plan to call Columbus home for the next four years in Bruce Thornton, Felix Okpara, Roddy Gayle Jr., and Bowen Hardman.

Ohio State basketball 2022 recruiting class

Get up to speed with Ohio State basketball’s stellar 2022 recruiting class. Will these guys help put OSU among the elite in the country?

Chris Holtmann and the Ohio State basketball program have been working diligently to put together its next recruiting class for the 2022 cycle.

And in case you haven’t noticed, it’s a pretty good one. So good in fact, that the Buckeyes’ 2022 class ranks as the best in the country right now. It has four commitments that have already pledged verbally, with three of them in the top 50 prospects according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

It remains to be seen if OSU will finish atop the rankings because traditional blue-bloods like North Carolina, Duke, Kansas, and North Carolina are still putting classes together, but no matter how you look at it, it looks to be a top-five or top ten class when it’s all said and done. That is, as long as the class remains and there aren’t any defections from here until the official signing day.

So in case you haven’t gotten up to speed on the four players Ohio State is bringing in to keep the momentum going with the Buckeye basketball program, we’ve got them all here for you. We’ll continue to update the list if any changes happen.
