Bills are NFL’s largest Wild Card favorite over Steelers

#Bills vs. #Steelers odds:

The oddsmakers see the Buffalo Bills as a pretty safe bet to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild-Card round.

According to sportsbooks including BetMGM, the Bills (11-6) are 10-point favorites over the Steelers (10-7) ahead of their Wild-Card clash at Highmark Stadium on Sunday. That spread is by far the largest of the NFL’s upcoming weekend.

In a twist, the points total has also swung all the way in one direction.

The over/under of 34.5 is by far the lowest of the upcoming playoff weekend. That’s because of poor weather slated to pass through western New York during the game.

A couple of tough decisions ahead.

Head-to-head, most favor Buffalo over Pittsburgh. However, the large spread does make picking a winner much more difficult. Especially because of the Bills, who have only a 7-9-1 record against the spread this season.

Meanwhile, the Steelers’ record matches their ATS record: 10-7.

Regarding the points, both teams have failed to hit their totals in games often this season. Buffalo and Pittsburgh share a 6-11 record against their point totals from this year… but again, 35.5 is very low…

And finally, the moneyline sits at Bills (-550) and Steelers (+400).

Bills slightly favorite on road vs. Dolphins in NFL biggest Week 18 game

#Bills slightly favorite on road vs. #Dolphins in NFL biggest Week 18 game:

The Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins are slated to play in the NFL’s top time slot in Week 18.

The Bills (10-6) visit the Dolphins (11-5) in their season finale. The winner will be named the 2023 AFC East champion.

Because of what’s on the line, the league decided to place the clash on Sunday Night Football in Week 18. Buckle up.

Even with that pressure and all eyes on both teams, oddsmakers are still going with Buffalo over Miami.

According to sportsbooks including BetMGM, the Bills are three-point road favorites against the Dolphins in Week 18. The Bills are winners of four straight and the Dolphins were crushed by the Baltimore Ravens last weekend.

The first time these two divisional foes faced off in Week 4, Buffalo won 48-20. In addition, Miami was an underdog then by three points… but that game was played in Orchard Park.

That outing clearly saw the Bills cover easily. They hit the over on the points total too, despite it being set at a massive 53.5 that week.

Regarding the upcoming matchup, the points total is set at 49.5.

While that’s the way Week 4 went, the season overall has gone differently for these two teams. Against the spread, Miami is 10-6 in 2023. Buffalo’s ATS is only 6-9-1. Similarly, the Dolphins are 9-6 against point totals, meanwhile, the Bills are only 6-10.

Two teams that mirror each other in the standings but couldn’t be more different among oddsmakers.

At the time of posting, the moneyline sits at Bills (-165) and Dolphins (+140).

Oddsmakers: Bills big favorite vs. Patriots for second-straight week

The #Bills have a big edge on the #Patriots in sportsbooks this week:

Another tough decision awaits those looking to place a wager on the Buffalo Bills ahead of their Week 17 matchup against the New England Patriots.

The Bills (9-6) host their AFC East rivals and the past week has made this choice more difficult.

Buffalo is fresh off of beating the Los Angeles Chargers. However, the spread in that one was within a half point of what it is ahead of the Bills taking on the Patriots (4-11)–according to BetMGM, Buffalo is a 12-point favorite in Week 17.

Buffalo did not come close to covering against the Bolts. It was tight all the way through and the Bills took a 24-22 win.

On the flip side, the underdog Pats beat the Denver Broncos last week. Despite New England being out of the playoffs, they’re still fighting.

Good luck making that pick. Not to mention, the first meeting between these two went the Pats’ way.

In 2023, both teams are doing pretty poorly against the spread. The Bills are 6-8-1 ATS this season, meanwhile, the Patriots are 5-10.

The points aren’t treating either team much better. Buffalo is 5-10 and New England is at 6-9.

The moneyline sits at Bills (-700) and the Patriots (+500).

Thanksgiving best bets: One wager to make for every team playing on Thursday

Thanksgiving best bets: One wager to make for every team playing on Thursday:

This is a special week in the NFL, with six teams playing on Thursday as part of the Thanksgiving football tradition. Of course, the Cowboys and Lions will each play home games against the Commanders and Packers, respectively, while the NFC West also joins the spotlight with a Thursday night showdown between the 49ers and Seahawks.

All three are divisional matchups, which only adds to the fun.

Rather than doing our traditional Week 12 best bets, we have a special Thanksgiving edition this week. Our NFL editors each picked their favorite bet for their respective teams this Thanksgiving, including an exact-score bet that pays $30,000 for a $100 wager.

Here are our best bets for Thursday’s slate in Week 12. All odds courtesy of BetMGM:

Oddsmakers: Bills back to being favorite vs. Broncos in Week 10

Can the #Bills cover this week?

Despite a disappointing loss against the Cincinnati Bengals where the Buffalo Bills entered a contest for the first time as an underdog last week and lost… it’s right back to being the favorite.

According to sportsbooks including BetMGM, the Bills have opened as more than a touchdown favorite over the Denver Broncos ahead of their Monday Night Football matchup.

While Buffalo will be disappointed in their 5-4 record halfway through the 2023 season, bettors will be even more upset at them. Against the spread, the Bills are only 3-6.

Last week, Buffalo was a slight 1.5-point underdog and did not cover in Cincinnati.

The same can be said about Buffalo’s point totals, too. The under (51) hit against the Bengals in a 24-18 loss and the Bills are 3-6 against their totals this season.

Meanwhile, Denver did not cover last week either because they did not play. Fresh off their bye, the Broncos did do exactly that in their last outing, a win over the Kansas City Chiefs at home.

Like Buffalo, the Broncos are doing even worse than their overall record against the spread this season. Denver is 2-5-1 ATS but the Broncos have fared better against the points, an even .500 at 4-4.

The over/under for Monday’s matchup sits at 47. The moneyline reads at Bills (-375) and Broncos (+290).

NFL Week 9 best bets: One wager to make for every team (including the Bills)

NFL Week 9 best bets: One wager to make for every team (including the #Bills):

There have been more than a few surprises in the NFL this season, with the most recent being a stunning win by the Denver Broncos over the Kansas City Chiefs last week. Though Week 8 was filled with matchups that didn’t look great on paper, Week 9 has a number of intriguing games – including Chiefs-Dolphins, Cowboys-Eagles and Bills-Bengals.

We’re coming off our best week as a network, going 20-12 with our best bets in Week 8, and we’ll try to build off that with another solid week of picks. Marcus Mosher of Raiders Wire kept his winning streak alive, going a perfect 8-0 with his eight bets this season.

Here are our picks for Week 9, one for each team in the NFL.

Note: The 49ers, Lions, Broncos and Jaguars are on a bye this week.

Oddsmakers: Bills are largest favorites of their 2023 season vs. Giants

Oddsmakers: #Bills are largest favorites of their 2023 season vs. #Giants:

The Buffalo Bills have been the favorite in all five of their games in 2023.

Their upcoming one sees the oddsmakers favoring them more than any other contest so far this season.

According to sportsbooks including BetMGM, the Bills (3-2) are a huge 14.5-point favorite over the New York Giants (1-4) in Week 6.

The matchup will be on Sunday Night Football as former Bills OC turned Giants head coach Brian Daboll makes his return to western New York. Clearly, the oddsmakers don’t see this one going very well for him.

The number of injuries for the G-men have added up throughout the first month of the season has led to the lopsided spread. The likes of Daniel Jones (neck), running back Saquon Barkley (ankle), among others, might miss the contest.

The Bills-Giants spread opened as the largest in the NFL in Week 6.

So far this season, the Bills, like their record, are 3-2 against the spread. Meanwhile, the Giants manage to be worse against the spread than even their record: New York is 0-5 ATS.

In addition to the spread, the over/under is listed at 44.5. The under has hit three times in Buffalo’s season–and have altered each week. In Week 5 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the 25-20 final was under the line of 48.5.

The moneyline sits at Bills (-1100) and Giants (+700).

CBS Sports says take the over on Bills in 2023: ‘Still a very good team’

CBS Sports says take the over on the #Bills: ‘Still a very good team’

Every season the NFL schedule provides us with yearly surprises and unforeseen circumstances.

Even so, most can see the ideal path for the Buffalo Bills next year–And CBS Sports think that’s going to happen.

Buffalo’s 2023 schedule sets up for a hot start, or at least the Bills could use that. After Week 10, Buffalo has the likes of the Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Chargers on their slate.

And don’t forget the all-important Week 9 rematch against the Cincinnati Bengals.

All in all, a good start will do the Bills a world of good. That’s how most see it and that’s how CBS Sports predicts it.

In projecting the over/under win totals for every team next season, the outlet predicts Buffalo’s over because the belief is the Bills will get the job done early.

CBS Sports‘ full breakdown can be found below:

Caesars Win Total: 10.5 (over -125)
Projected Record: 12-5

Beat the Jets in Week 1 and the Bills have a real chance to rip off some wins. People are really down on Buffalo this year because they can’t break through the 90s Pistons/Bulls redux with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. This is still a very good football team.
