The Georgia Bulldogs secured their 13th commitment in the class of 2022 from four-star wide receiver De’Nylon Morrissette.

The Georgia Bulldogs continue to add to their elite recruiting class of 2022. Kirby Smart and the Dawgs secured their 13th commitment in the class from four-star wide receiver De’Nylon Morrissette.

Georgia has the No. 1-rated class of 2022. Morrissette is Georgia’s first pure wide receiver to make a commitment.

Morrissette will play high school football for North Cobb in Kennesaw, Georgia, this season. He previously played for Brookwood High School in Snellville, Georgia, and for St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland.

Morrissette has connections to several players on Georgia’s roster and played alongside Marquis Groves-Killebrew at Brookwood. He’s an outstanding receiver after the catch and has the ability to compete for playing time as a true freshman.

Here’s how Georgia football social media reacted to Morrissette’s commitment:

UGA adds commitment from 4-star in-state WR

The Georgia Bulldogs and head coach Kirby Smart have added another commitment in wide receiver De’Nylon Morrissette

The Georgia Bulldogs and head coach Kirby Smart have added another commitment, wide receiver De’Nylon Morrissette. Morrissette is an in-state prospect who plans to attend North Cobb High School in Kennesaw, Georgia, for the 2021 football season.

Morrissette committed to Georgia over Alabama, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Oregon, South Carolina, Florida and USC. His decision is not shocking, but Morrissette is very talented and could immediately earn playing time at Georgia.

The North Cobb student-athlete played high school football for Brookwood, which is located in Snellville, Georgia. At Brookwood, he practiced against defensive back Marquis Groves-Killebrew, who is committed to the Georgia Bulldogs.

Before attending Brookwood, De’Nylon Morrissette played for St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland. Jamon Dumas-Johnson, an incoming freshman linebacker at the University of Georgia, also played for St. Frances Academy.

Morrissette is Georgia’s 13th commitment in the class of 2022. The Dawgs have the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class.

The four-star wide receiver recruit came onto the scene with a strong start to the season last year. Morrissette made his decision in a special commitment video:

At 6 feet, 1 inch, 200 pounds, De’Nylon Morrissette has solid size. Morrissette is considered the No. 22 prospect in the state of Georgia and a top 250 prospect in the class of 2022.

He is considered Georgia’s first wide receiver commitment in the class of 2022.
