The NFL playoffs are finally here and the stage is set for an exciting and thrilling journey to crown a Super Bowl champion.

The NFL playoffs are finally here and the stage is set for an exciting and thrilling journey to crown a Super Bowl champion.  In the AFC, the Bills and the Chiefs have consistently been the best in the conference all season, but the Bengals have come on strong of late and Justin Herbert could be a wild card as he makes his first playoff appearance with the Chargers. It’s tough to pinpoint a clear favorite heading into the playoffs, and that’s what makes the NFL so exciting.

The NFC playoff picture is a little murkier this year, with the Eagles having looked like the NFL’s best team for much of the season, but late-season bumps and injuries have thrown the conference into question. The 49ers, Cowboys, and Vikings are all waiting in the wings, ready to take advantage of any opportunity.

Geno Smith hits DK Metcalf with 50-yard TD pass to give Seahawks the lead

Geno Smith found DK Metcalf and the Seahawks suddenly were in the lead

The Seattle Seahawks are not in awe of the San Francisco 49ers.

They are looking to defeat the NFC West champions for the first time in three meetings this season — now the postseason — and have taken the lead after falling behind by double digits.

This was the second TD drive of more than 70 yards for the Seahawks and its final play was a stunner.

Geno Smith went deep and found DK Metcalf running down the sideline.

Fifty yards later, the brilliant wideout was in the end zone, and, after Jason Myers’ PAT, the Seahawks held a 14-10 lead in the second quarter.

Nickelodeon adds fun after 49ers slice through Dallas defense

The 49ers are off to a fast start in Texas against the Cowboys

The much-anticipated matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys Sunday saw the NFC West Wild Card team blast out of the gate in Texas.

The Niners went 75 yards in 7 plays, eating up more than 4 minutes before finding the end zone.

Jimmy Garoppolo was 3-for-3 for 43 yards and running back Elijah Mitchell had a couple carries, including a 4-yard run for the score.

And the Nickelodeon broadcast put a different kind of star between the uprights for the PAT: Patrick Star.

The Niners added a field goal by Robbie Gould, who is now 16-for-16 in his postseason career, to open the lead to 10-0.
