‘Rookie’ Taylor Swift gets a Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce shoutout for joining the Chiefs on New Heights podcast

Taylor Swift got a funny shoutout on the latest New Heights podcast with Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce.

Taylor Swift has won another award before the 2024 Grammys on Sunday.

On the latest episode of the New Heights podcast with Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and his brother — the Philadelphia Eagles center — broke down Sunday’s AFC title game, and as we’ve seen in previous eps, Swift’s name came up.

This time, it was them joking about how Swift made the Super Bowl in “her rookie year.” Jason made that joke, and Travis laughed, replying, “Shoutout to Tay, thanks for joining the team.”

LOL that’s too good and of course we always love when Travis calls his girlfriend “Tay.”

Taylor Swift and Kylie Kelce interacted on Instagram with a New Heights clip and fans loved it

Get that cat, Kylie.

The New Heights podcast has always been a fun look into the lives of brothers and NFL players Jason and Travis Kelce. This season, however, has been truly delightful. There was a lot of anticipation for this week’s episode after Jason’s shirtless shenanigans at the playoff game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills.

The episode didn’t disappoint as Jason described his pregame tailgating with the Bills Mafia and his thought process in the suite.

“I’m not gonna lie. I gave Kylie a heads up,” Kelce said on the podcast. “The moment we got into the suite I said, ‘I’m taking my shirt off, and I’m jumping out of that suite. And she said, ‘Jason, don’t you dare.’ I was like, ‘Hey, I’m just letting you know it’s happening. I’m not asking for permission. I’m doing this.'”

Kelce’s wife, Kylie, had the perfect response in a comment on Instagram that referenced her desire to get a cat.

Kylie wasn’t the only one that loved the whole thing as Taylor Swift, pop star and girlfriend of Travis, also handed out a like on the social media site.

Naturally, everyone loved it.

New Heights podcast teases upcoming episode with hilarious Jason Kelce shirtless meme video

The New Heights social team knew exactly what they were doing with this tease.

Shirtless Jason Kelce continues to be the meme that keeps on giving. After Kelce stole the show during the Kansas City Chiefs’ 27-24 victory over the Buffalo Bills during the AFC divisional round Sunday night, the hilarious meme has become inescapable on social media.

And now, the New Heights podcast cashed in on the moment in a big way with an incredible tease of their upcoming episode. New Heights — Jason and brother Travis Kelce’s podcast — has exploded in popularity this season for a variety of reasons and this weeks’ episode might just be their best yet.

On Monday, New Heights teased Wednesday’s show with a hilarious video memeing Jason Kelce’s shirtless moment, set to the iconic meme song “Shooting Stars”. Not only that, the video features a plethora of other memes for Philadelphia sports fans and pop culture fans alike.

Wednesday’s podcast is definitely going to be one to remember if this is how they’re teasing it.

Jason Kelce tearfully addresses retirement talk with Travis Kelce on New Heights podcast

The center didn’t actually say he was retiring, despite reports.

Despite multiple reports on Tuesday that legendary center Jason Kelce would be retiring after the Philadelphia Eagles’ playoff loss — in which we saw him get choked up and share a sweet moment with his family — he’s not saying one way or another on the New Heights podcast ep that dropped on Wednesday.

Kelce said he didn’t think you could make a retirement decision in the postgame moment with so much emotion, and he promised that he wasn’t trying to draw his decision out.

“When it’s time to officially announce what’s happening in the future, it’ll be done in a way that’s definitive and pays respect to a lot of people and individuals that have meant a lot to me and what has led to the career I’ve had,” he said. “I don’t think that it would be respectful or even accurate to be able to do that right after a game like that.”

But there was a moment that Kelce broke down while talking to his brother Travis.

“Lotta guys [said]: ‘If that is your last game, I feel sorry for you.’ I’m like, ‘Don’t feel sorry for me, mother [expletive]. I had a [expletive] …” Then he trailed off, and you could hear him reacting with emotion.

Travis replied, “Hell yeah, man.”

Here it is at the 35-minute mark:

UPDATE: Here’s video:

Travis Kelce mimicking the sound of mayonnaise is the grossest yet intriguing thing you’ll hear all day

This sounds so HORRIFIC, but we can’t look away.

College football bowl games produce some of the most unhinged content you’ll ever see, including edible mascots and strange food and drink baths. These moments typically unravel the internet, and Travis and Jason Kelce are part of that phenomenon.

The 2023-2024 season bowl games have been a wild ride. There have been edible mascots and even baths with strange culinary items like frosted flakes, coffee and egg nog.

But, the Duke’s Mayo Bowl is one of the strangest — and grossest — this season. (It involved a lot of mayo, and if you’re into that kind of thing, here’s more mayo content.) The photos and videos from that game are all over the internet and even made their way to the Kelce brothers.

On a recent episode of their New Heights podcast, Travis tried his best to make mayo sound as cringe-y as possible, but Jason was unfazed.

Kylie Kelce tries to convince husband Jason to get a cat by alluding to Taylor Swift’s influence on Travis Kelce

Get the cat, Jason. Get the cat.

There was a bonus episode of Jason and Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast that dropped on Friday, and it was dubbed the “family edition.” Both parents — Ed and Donna Kelce — of the NFL stars made appearances, and Jason’s wife, Kylie, joined in on the fun.

While Travis Kelce’s new girlfriend Taylor Swift didn’t make her podcast debut, she was present through conversation. Swift is a well-documented cat lover, and Kylie hinted at how Swift may have converted Travis, as she tried to make her case for getting a cat. (She also hilariously reminded Travis about what will happen if he ever sends them something with a heartbeat.)

“I feel like you might like cats now,” Kylie said with a sly expression near the end of the episode.

We aren’t sure if they’ll be able to sway Jason and get a cat, but Swifties and fans of the Kelces loved the moment.

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce addresses sideline helmet throw vs. Raiders

#Chiefs TE Travis Kelce addressed his sideline helmet throw incident against the #Raiders on his “New Heights” podcast.

Tempers flared on the Kansas City Chiefs sideline during their Christmas day loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 16. Star tight end Travis Kelce was seen throwing his helmet during a particularly frustrating moment in the game that stood out among other signs of discontent on Kansas City’s bench.

Kelce addressed the helmet-toss incident on his New Heights podcast with his brother, fellow NFL veteran Jason Kelce. The All-Pro pass catcher didn’t make any excuses for his behavior and was apologetic in responding to Jason’s question about what happened.

“I didn’t go back out there and play good,” Travis explained. “He [head coach Andy Reid] wanted to see the fire in me, and I reacted in a bad way. He wanted to get the best out of me. Right now, I’m not playing my best football… As a leader on this team, that’s not how you switch momentum.”

Fans will certainly appreciate Travis’ frustration with the Chiefs’ performance against the Raiders on Monday, and his contrite response to the incident on the sideline.

With just two weeks of the 2023 regular season remaining, the time for Kansas City and Travis Kelce to clean up their acts is now, lest they lose out and squander their opportunity to compete in January’s playoffs.

The “New Heights Show” podcast founded by NFL brothers, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs and Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles, is set to broadcast live at April’s 2023 NFL draft.

The ticketed event is set to take place at the Kansas City Music Hall on April 26th and will feature both of the show’s stars as they chop it up together a day before first-round selections take place.

News of the live show first broke on Wednesday in a tweet from the podcast’s official Twitter account. Tickets are expected to go on sale starting on Friday, March 24th, and are sure to be a hot commodity ahead of the NFL’s most prominent offseason spectacle.

“Having New Height’s first live taping be at the 2023 NFL Draft is a full circle moment for us,” the brothers shared in a joint statement via press release. “The draft is where our dreams of turning pro became reality. We are excited to return and celebrate this moment.”

How the live show might differ from their usual format is a relative unknown, and whether crowd participation may be a feature of the event is sure to be the object of much speculation. They did hint at some special guest appearances and mentioned that the show will be entirely uncensored. Given Travis’ knack for crowd-pleasing engagement and Jason’s affability, the duo is sure to put on a hit show in front of the Kansas City crowd ahead of the biggest night of the 2023 NFL offseason.

Jason Kelce, Travis Kelce talk about seeing mother on-field after Super Bowl LVII

#Eagles C Jason Kelce and #Chiefs TE Travis Kelce talked about their experience seeing their mother on the field after Super Bowl LVII. | from @TheJohnDillon

In an emotional segment on their latest “New Heights Show” podcast, Jason and Travis Kelce talked about the experience of seeing their mother on the field after the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory in Super Bowl LVII. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room when the brothers described what it meant for them to see Donna Kelce on the field after the game.

“The moment I saw mom is when I got really emotional,” the elder Kelce said, holding back tears, “because… man, it was so awesome. You know, she was on top of the world for a week.”

“She was the heavyweight champ, man,” Travis added. “She was on top of it and she shined the whole time, man. That was the coolest part. Mom, you absolutely killed it, dad, you’ve been killing it.”

For Jason Kelce, even though his Philadelphia Eagles lost the Super Bowl, he said he was crying tears of joy because of his mother.

“It was just so cool, man to see, you know to see her get to celebrate in that with us,” Jason reiterated. “It was an awesome moment. I’m just so happy for her, and so happy that, you know, she got her moment, dad got his. So, yeah, I was the only [one], ironically, to lose the Super Bowl. And you [were] crying after the game, and they’re not tears of sadness, you know, they’re tears of joy.”

Clearly, the Kelce Bowl experience was an emotional one for both the center and tight end, and it won’t soon be forgotten, even as both brothers enter the twilight of their NFL careers. While a Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory is a welcome sight for any Kansas City fan, the only shame of the situation is that both of the Kelce brothers couldn’t win together.

Jason and Travis Kelce broke down crying after the Super Bowl because their mom is the best

It’s AWESOME how much Super Bowl 57 meant to Jason and Travis Kelce.

Travis and Jason Kelce have had one of the most emotional past couple of weeks that a pair of NFL players could have.

The ballyhooed “Kelce Bowl” pit Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs against Jason Kelce and the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 57, as you well know by now.

It ended up that Travis Kelce ultimately hoisted the Lombardi Trophy.

The brothers saw their parents get plenty of love during the Super Bowl media frenzy, something that made Jason Kelce visibly emotional during the Kelces’ latest episode of their podcast New Heights.

The entire experience really seems to have made a deep impression on the eldest Kelce brother, the kind that not even a Super Bowl win can really match.

Jason Kelce’s insight into his mom Donna Kelce’s Super Bowl love is especially powerful.

I mean, that’s pretty awesome. The joys of football do not seem lost on Jason Kelce, nor does the impact that brotherly love can have on a career seem to be lost on Travis Kelce.

It’s hard not to be just incredibly happy for the Kelce family and what they’ve all gotten to experience in the last few weeks. It’s a moment in time that they’ll undoubtedly cherish forever.
