The Kansas City Chiefs tight end had a complete meltdown over watching a mayonnaise eating contest on the latest New Heights podcast. And while we’re happy to update this with the video of that moment later, the audio is just amazing.
Kelce and his brother Jason were talking about hot dog eating contests, and then Jason pulled up a video of mayo eating, and you can hear Travis completely lose it, gagging and screaming to get it off his screen.
It’s podcast gold. Here you go, starting around the 14-minute mark or so (with the usual WARNING: NSFW language ahead!):
The Fever rookie is a “Swiftie through-and-through.”
A new episode of the New Heights podcast dropped Wednesday morning as Jason and Travis Kelce addressed the latest in NFL, pop culture and more. The brotherly duo covered Jason’s viral moment at Penn State from the weekend, the Kansas City Chiefs improving to 8-0 and Travis going to support his girlfriend Taylor Swift at one of her Indianapolis Eras Tour shows.
“I wanted to see Tay one more time before this thing got closed up,” Kelce said of his trip to Indiana. He also talked about getting to meet Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark, calling the Rookie of the Year “awesome.”
“She was into the show for sure,” Kelce stated. “I think this was like her third or fourth show she had been to. She’s a Swiftie through-and-through, man.”

He started off the latest New Heights podcast by talking about it and saying he regretted reacting.
“Now, it’s out there and it just perpetuates more hate,” he said.
But his brother, Travis, gave him love in response.
“The real situation is you had some [expletive] clown come up to you and talk about your family, and you reacted in a way that was defending your family, and you might’ve used some words that you regret using,” he said. “And that’s a situation you’ve just got to learn from and own. I think you owning it and you speaking about it shows how sincere you are to a lot of people in this world. … You don’t choose hate, that’s just not who you are. I love you brother, I think you said that perfectly.”

The moves being made by the Kansas City Chiefs front office are preparing the team for a hopeful three-peat run. Pro Bowl tight end Travis Kelce serves as a leader on the team, and he doesn’t hold back on uplifting new teammates when they join the organization.
On the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, Kelce praised DeAndre Hopkins’ immediate veteran presence on the team.
“It’s awesome, man. Having D-Hop (DeAndre Hopkins) in the building, have another vet, a guy, he’s such a,I call him ‘Swag Champ’ when you get a vet into the building, and he juices everybody’s confidence up,” said Kelce. “He juices everybody, like the aura and the fun that you have in the building and just going to work. He’s just another guy that you can always rely on to show up and put in the work, but enjoy what he’s doing and try and have some fun with it. Man, he’s been awesome stepping up and stepping into the building.”
Hopkins will have a more prominent role in the offense after his brief cameo in the Week 8 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
“He had two days, Thursday and Friday during practice, to get timing with Pat (Patrick Mahomes) and in the offense to try and kind of get into the routine, everything with coach (Andy) Reid’s way of doing things,” said Kelce. “he’s just professional, just a professional guy. He came in asking questions, trying to get caught up as fast as possible. And sure enough, we got him in the building, and I think the first third down we had, we went right to him, baby. Yeah, right to him. And he’s right on time, man.”
The Chiefs return to action on Monday Night Football with Hopkins and recently acquired linebacker Joshua Uche taking center stage in front of a national audience.
On the latest New Heights podcast, Travis and his brother Jason had Niecy Nash-Betts — Travis’s co-star in Grotesquerie— in for an interview. She talked about how people text her about his relationship with Swift and how it’s none of their business.
“I appreciate you always,” Travis said, “and every time someone that has a mic in front of you always asks you something like that, thank you for always showing up. You know it’s real, and you know that me and Tay are absolutely happy.”
Awww!
not people calling niecey just to ask her about travis and taylor but it’s also cute how travis thanked her for always just saying they’re happy pic.twitter.com/GCy16VyghT
Kansas City #Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce explains the lateral in Week 5 vs. New Orleans #Saints: ‘It’s like fast-break basketball’ | @EdEastonJr
The unexpected highlight play by Travis Kelce in the Kansas City Chiefs Week 5 victory over the New Orleans Saints was impressive and careless, depending on various opinions.
During the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, Travis explained his viral and controversial lateral during last Monday’s game and compared it to basketball.
“I had no idea that he had a chip or anything on the backside. I was reversing (the) field. I felt guys over…and I was like, more yards going this way, but then I realized I couldn’t get more.” said Kelce. “There’s a guy in red over here. I just feel him…, it’s like fast-break basketball. You just running the lane.”

Veteran running back Samaje Perine, who received the lateral, brought the Chiefs within a yard of the first down. He also earned plenty of respect in the locker room and with Kelce for his heads-up play.
“You can’t just throw it on me. It’s Samaje, unbelievable job by Perine to actually be ready because he was kind of, like, shuffling,” said Kelce as the veteran running back just went with the flow of the unexpected lateral to get positive yardage. “That’s a ball player right there.”
The Chiefs are off this week on a bye, giving fans more time to rewatch the play and enjoy an undefeated start to the season.
Kylie has stayed true to her Philadelphia roots and her word.
The Kansas City Chiefs hosted the New Orleans Saints for Monday Night Football, and it was a Kelce family affair. Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Chiefs, was on the field, with recently-retired big brother Jason taking on his new desk duty as part of the MNF ESPN crew.
Also in attendance was Jason’s wife, Kylie. A true Philadelphia Eagles fan, Kylie has always refused to wear the gear of any other NFL team, even if it’s for her brother-in-law. On Monday night, Kylie donned a tee-shirt emblazoned with “Alright Nah,” one of the catchphrases from the Kelce brothers’ New Heights podcast.

Kansas City #Chiefs TE Travis Kelce responds to criticism of his slow start: ‘I just want to have a successful offense’ | @EdEastonJr
The past week has been filled with criticism from many around the league for Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce because of his uncharacteristic slow start to the season.
During the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, Travis discussed his slow start to the season and expressed his focus on the team’s success.
“I’m not getting caught up in getting the targets and all that. I just want to have a successful offense, and I think Pat’s (Patrick Mahomes) doing a great job of finding the open guy and making the right decisions right now. And we just have to keep finding,” said Kelce. “It’s a new offense, new players, new pieces, and we’re just finding how to have success throughout the season.”
Through three games, Kelce has eight catches for 69 yards and no touchdowns. The limited targets due to defensive game plans haven’t affected the team’s success, as teammates have taken advantage of all the attention on him.

“As an offense, you’re going to go through these ups and downs throughout the season,” said Kelce. “You just want to make sure that you clean up all the mistakes that you’re making you’re communicating so that everybody understands exactly where we are going moving forward, and nobody does it better than coach (Andy) Reid and Pat Mahomes in that regard.”
The multiple-time All-Pro hopes for a significant jump in production this Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers.
