The Nebraska football team added another transfer to their roster. Former USC cornerback Ceyair Wright officially transferred to the Huskers on Friday afternoon.
Wright spent three seasons with the Trojans. He entered the transfer portal in late May after being benched during the 2023 season. Prior to the season, he started 11 games in 2022 and over 30 games in his career at USC, delivering 40 tackles and one interception.
A Top 100 recruit in the 2021 class, Wright played football at Loyola High School before heading to USC. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound junior will have two years of eligibility remaining when he arrives at Nebraska.
He will join a deep defensive back room containing D’Andre Barnes, Mario Buford, and Jeremiah Charles.
Wright is also an actor, a fourth-year junior. He has appeared in movies such as “Space Jam: A New Legacy,” in which he plays one of LeBron James’ sons, and the series “Grown-ish,” in which he has a recurring role as Zeke Bracey.
