Watch 76ers vs. Bucks Live Online.

The NBA season is a long, exhausting marathon with many nights of going through the motions of stars taking nights off. However, when two good teams meet, all that changes. That’s especially true when the Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks get together. The Bucks take on the Sixers at home on Thursday for what should be one of those special nights.

Despite the Sixers being down in sixth place in the East standings, they have the talent to compete with anyone in the league. They proved this on Christmas Day when they defeated the Bucks 121-109 at home. They’ve struggled since then as their ranking suggests, but there’s no doubt they’ll be up for the occasion in this rematch.

All eyes will be in the paint, as two of the league’s elite big men will battle it out. Any time Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid meet, sparks are guaranteed to fly. In their previous six encounters, the pair has averaged a combined 63 points and 26 rebounds between them. It’s negligible to whittle down an entire game to a head-to-head matchup, but this one will play a huge factor in the outcome.

The Bucks (42-7) continue to boast the league’s best record and now by a pretty wide margin with the Los Angeles Lakers (37-11) falling off the pace. Their dominance in the East will likely not be overcome until the playoffs put everyone back level. However, for the Sixers, they desperately need to start making up ground to ensure a favorable first-round matchup in the postseason.

How to Watch Warriors vs. Celtics, NBA Live Stream, Schedule, TV Channel, Start Time

Watch Warriors vs. Celtics Live Online.

Both the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors have experienced changes this season, with the two teams going in opposite directions as a result of those changes. While the Warriors have struggled after losing most of their nucleus to free agency or injury, the Celtics have flourished and find themselves near the top of the Eastern Conference. When the two teams play in Boston on Thursday, the Celtics will look to keep those trends going.

The contest against the Celtics will be the second leg of a difficult East Coast road trip for the Warriors. Golden State entered this road trip having lost 13 out of 14 games and at the bottom of the Western Conference after so many years at the top of it. Without Steph Curry and Klay Thompson this season, things could continue to be an uphill climb.

Meanwhile, Boston enters this contest coming home after a three-game road trip. That road trip closed with a road game against the Miami Heat on Tuesday in which they won 109-101 after the Celtics split the first two games against the Orlando Magic and New Orleans Pelicans. Boston currently holds a top-four seed in the Eastern Conference but will need to continue winning as teams like the Pacers and Sixers are right behind them and could relegate the Celtics to a visiting role in the first round of the playoffs.

How to Watch Lakers vs. Nets, NBA Live Stream, Schedule, TV Channel, Start Time

Watch Lakers vs. Nets Live Online.

The Nets and the Lakers squared off twice in the preseason with Brooklyn sweeping both contests. That was nearly three months ago and October basketball isn’t exactly an indication of where teams will be in January, February or even June. What we do know early on this season is that the Nets are struggling to find wins, while the Lakers look like a championship-caliber team.

LeBron James and Kyrie Irving have a history from their days on the Cavaliers, in which they won a championship. For the first time this season, the two will square-off on the hardwood. Kyrie did not play in Monday night’s 117-111 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, with the team opting to have him rest a tight hamstring. The Nets are currently in eighth place in the Eastern Conference with an 18-24 record and have some internal turmoil with Irving making comments about the team “missing pieces”. They will need Irving to step up and those missing pieces to show up Thursday night if they want to avoid dropping their fifth consecutive game.

While the Nets are struggling against the competition, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and the Lakers have looked like a true contender for yet another NBA Championship in franchise history. The Lakers first in the Western Conference, but had a rough 139-107 loss to the Celtics and are in the midst of a five-game road trip. Davis leads the team in both points (26.6 per game) and rebounds (9.3), while James is averaging 25.2 points per game and a team-leading 11 assists.

The Golden State Warriors and Portland Trail Blazers met in the 2019 Western Conference Finals, with the Warriors sweeping Portland in that series. This year, both teams have fallen on hard times, as both find themselves with losing records. In this matchup on Monday, the opportunity to build some momentum for the rest of the season is on the line in Portland.

Golden State (10-34) got its seventh home win of the season on Saturday, defeating the Orlando Magic 109-95. DeAngelo Russell led the Warriors to victory by putting up 26 points, which was enough to hold off the efforts of Markelle Fultz and the rest of the Magic. Golden State led by only one point at halftime but outscored the Magic by 10 in the third quarter to put the game out of reach. Golden State is doing its best to hold things together without Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

Portland (18-26) lost in Oklahoma City on Saturday, dropping a 119-106 decision to the Thunder. Damian Lillard scored a game-high 34 points in the loss, going 10-for-23 from the field. However, it was Chris Paul of the Thunder who stole the show, scoring 30 points on 11-for-15 shooting against a Portland defense that was not equipped to stop him. Against DeAngelo Russell, the Trail Blazers will face another tough test.

Watch Lakers vs. Celtics Live Online

The Lakers have been a juggernaut on the road this season with an 18-3 record. They’ll have a huge challenge Monday evening against the Celtics. Any time this historic rivalry restarts, throw records out the window. The Lakers currently sit atop the Western Conference, while the Celtics are fourth in the Eastern Conference.

LeBron James scored a team-high 31 points, along with 12 assists in Los Angeles’ impressive 124-115 win over the Rockets on Saturday. The Lakers (34-8) were down by as much as 11 points in the game. Forward Kyle Kuzma was the biggest difference in the turnaround. He had just six points in the first half, but scored 17 points in the second half and was tasked with defending Russell Westbrook. Without Anthony Davis, Kuzma’s performance will go a long way in determining Monday’s outcome.

Without the talents of Kemba Walker and Jaylen Brown in Saturday’s game against the Suns, the Celtics lost 123-119, marking the team’s third straight loss. Even without those two important pieces, the Celtics (27-14) still had plenty of offensive production, as Marcus Smart scored a team-high 37 points. He broke a Celtics all-time record with 11 three-pointers. Jayson Tatum also tallied 26 points. Monday’s game will go a long way in showing just how far the Celtics have to go to reach elite status.

How to Watch Pelicans vs. Grizzlies, NBA Live Stream, Schedule, TV Channel, Start Time

Watch Pelicans vs. Grizzlies Live Online.

The New Orleans Pelicans are set to get Zion Williamson back this week, with the top pick in the draft ready to make his season debut on Wednesday. Before that, though, the Pelicans on Monday will take on the Memphis Grizzlies, who boast an exciting rookie in Ja Morant.

Pelicans vs. Grizzlies

When: Monday, January 20

Time: 5:00 p.m. ET

TV: TNT

New Orleans (16-27) has been playing well near the end of Williamson’s absence, with its last game being a close 133-130 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers at home. Derrick Favors led the Pelicans with 22 points and converted all 10 of his field goal attempts in the game. The Pelicans were unable to stop Kawhi Leonard, as his 39 points helped push the Clippers over the finish line. But the improved play of Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball, combined with the return of Williamson, has inspired optimism in New Orleans for now.

Memphis (20-22) has plenty of reason for optimism as well, as it continues its recent hot streak with a 113-109 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Dillon Brooks led the Grizzlies with 26 points in the victory and the team shot over 50 percent from the field. Brooks and Morant have developed nicely this season, with both the Grizzlies and the Pelicans looking to have the pieces in place to be tough opponents in the Western Conference in the years to come.

Two of the best teams in the Eastern Conference will clash when the Milwaukee Bucks host the Boston Celtics in a marquee Thursday night matchup. With the potential for these teams to meet in the Eastern Conference Finals, both squads will aim to establish dominance in this contest.

Boston enters this game on the second leg of a back-to-back, having played the Detroit Pistons at home Wednesday night. This marks the Celtics first road game in a week, having played three home contests since their road defeat last Thursday to the Philadelphia 76ers. How the Celtics cope with the travel demands heading into this game will be key, as Boston looks to utilize its balanced attack led by Kemba Walker to cool off one of the hottest teams in the league.

Milwaukee has won nine of its last 10 games and has only lost twice at home. The Bucks last game was a 128-102 drubbing of the New York Knicks at home on Tuesday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 37 points in that game, as four scorers reached double figures for a Bucks team that was able to empty its bench in the late stages. Having an extra day of rest in hand combined with the rest late against the Knicks could be advantageous to the Bucks in this potential playoff preview.

Inside the NBA dropped a hilarious video with its best moments of the decade

The chemistry between Shaq, Ernie, Chuck and Kenny is what makes this show different from anything else out there.

Over the course of the decade, TNT’s Inside the NBA has proven time and time again that it’s the best pre-game and post-game show in sports.

One thing it absolutely does not lack is unforgettable moments. Over the last decade, the quartet of Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson have been absolutely hilarious over the last decade.

There are so many legendary clips, in fact, that NBA on TNT decided to share their best moments in a four minute video that aired during Thursday’s show. No idea how they cut all the laughs they gave us down to four minutes, but they did it.

Remember the time Chuck said he thought he heard “donut” during the Laurel vs. Yanny debate? Or how about the time Shaq tried to convince everyone that the distance to the moon is shorter than the distance from Atlanta to California? That’s all in there.

Obviously, the show’s primary purpose is basketball analysis and teaching us about the things that happen on the court. But the show’s greatest strength is what’s in that video.

There’s a chemistry between the crew on the set that makes it different from any other analysis show out there — basketball or otherwise. Let’s hope that, in the next decade, they keep it going.

Shaq is convinced that Stevie Wonder can actually see

Really makes you think.

Count Shaquille O’Neal as one of the people who believe Stevie Wonder can actually see.

Last night on Inside the NBA, Shaq recounted a story where he was in an elevator with Wonder and he believes he actually saw him. “I’m going to tell y’all a Stevie Wonder story, but y’all not gonna believe me,” he starts off. You know it’s about to be a wild ride.

Apparently, they were living in the same building on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles. O’Neal says he was already in the building as Wonder came in and they were both getting on the elevator up at the same time. What he said happens next is the best part.

“He comes in, says ‘what’s up Shaq.’ Presses the button, it’s a true story, presses the button, gets off on his floor by himself, goes to his room. I went and called every person I knew and told the story. They didn’t believe me,” Shaq said.

FANTASTIC STUFF. You can watch him tell the story here.

Believe it or not, he’s not the only “Stevie Wonder can see” truther out there! There are more of them. Anthony Anderson is one of them. Lionel Richie might be another. Now, they have Shaq.

After a disappointing 2018-19 season, the Minnesota Timberwolves are poised to make a run at a playoff spot in the Western Conference, which is more wide open than in years past. On the back of one of the most exciting young tandems in the entire league, the hopes and expectations in the Twin Cities are rapidly rising.

Being a mid-market team in a league that functions on superstars teaming up is never easy. Free agents likely aren’t going to flock to your city. The solution? Draft well, trade well and build a solid foundation. That’s exactly what the Timberwolves have done through patience. It all starts with finding two young talents and developing them into emerging superstars. Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins were both drafted by Minnesota, both took some time to mature and now both are entering the primes of their careers and looking ready for breakout years.

Towns and Wiggins are both averaging above 25 points per game, which is tops for their young careers. It’s clear to see that they are the driving force behind the Wolves’ success. With a strong supporting cast that features Jeff Teague and Robert Covington, Minnesota has a chance to not only make the playoffs but advance past the first round, something it hasn’t done since 2004. Rebuilding is never easy, but it certainly appears that Minnesota is on the right track. With some luck and good decisions, this could be the start of something special.
