The NBA 2K24 cover star is Kobe Bryant

2K games announced the NBA 2K24 cover star, and the basketball game’s latest cover athlete is the multi-award winning superstar Kobe Bryant

2K games announced the NBA 2K24 cover star, and it’s the multi-award winning superstar Kobe Bryant. Bryant will feature in the sports game’s Kobey Bryant Edition and the special Black Mamba Edition, and you can take a glance at the cover art style at the top of this post.

NBA 2K24 launches later in 2023 for all platforms, including PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Bryant had an illustrious career spanning nearly 25 years, from 1996 until his death in a helicopter accident in 2020. His father Joe Bryant played for the Philadelphia 76ers, Houston Rockets, and San Diego Clippers, and once his career as a basketball star ended, Joe Bryant spent some time as a coach as well.

Kobe Bryant played the sport for fun while attending school in Italy and back in the United States, skipped college, and got picked up by the Charlotte Hornets in the 1996 NBA draft. The Hornets traded him to the Lakers shortly after, and when the ‘96-’97 season opened, Bryant was the second youngest NBA player ever.

He spent the rest of his career with the Lakers and became an 18-time All-Star, five-time NBA World Champion, two-time Finals MVP, two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer.

It is one thing to be into a video game as a huge fan of it. It is another thing entirely to be IN a game you are also a big fan of.

It is one thing to be into a video game as a huge fan of it. It is another thing entirely to be IN a game you are also a big fan of, and the latter is the case for Hall of Fame Boston Celtics big man Kevin Garnett. the 2008 NBA title winner with Boston was recently featured on an episode of NBA 2K TV to talk about his recent inclusion in a new iteration of the classic basketball simulation game he also happens to be a fan of.

The Big Ticket got into his experience with motion capture technology as the folks behind NBA 2K use to create the realistic play of the game as well as his fandom of eSports that is also catching on around the world, how he watches competitive gaming, and more.

Take a look at the clip embedded below to get up to speed on Garnett’s new career feature in the NBA gaming series for yourself.

Former Celtic Bill Walton on Michael Jordan’s greatness on 2KTV

Walton gets into his own feelings about MJ’s career in this 2kTV clip.

When it comes to NBA basketball simulation video games, one does not typically immediately think of Boston Celtics champion center Bill Walton.

For the latest iteration of the popular NBA 2K game series, a 2K TV segment celebrating the career of Michael Jordan, His Airness’ 1986 playoffs foe is a logical interlocutor for host TrulyHuncho.

The pair chop it up about MJ’s career and chat about MyNBA: Eras, as well as a general recap of GameDay 2 of the MyTEAM Unlimited Tournament that took place in December 2022. The two also covered a whole lot more that fans of any era of the NBA or its flagship simulation game can appreciate.

Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what Walton and TrulyHuncho get into in their talk about Michael Jordan.

Five Boston Celtics affected in latest NBA 2K ratings update

Nearly all good news, at that.

Throughout the course of every NBA season comes the inevitable adjustment of player ratings in the popular basketball simulation series NBA 2K for the NBA 2K 23 edition. And at roughly an entire month into the 2022-23 campaign, multiple Boston Celtics players find themselves impacted by the latest updates heading into the thick of the season at hand.

With the team’s two star wings and boosted bench propelling the Celtics’ offensive game to literally historic levels, some changes based on the play of that end of the court will be in order. And some subpar-but-improving defense ought to also impact this latest batch of rating adjustments.

Let’s take a look at who was reassessed to what rankings as of the fourth week of the month of November in the 2022-23 season.
