It was a short stint in Minneapolis for Michigan State’s women’s basketball squad.
After receiving the double-bye in the Big Ten Tournament, Michigan State fell vs. No. 5 seed Nebraska in Friday’s quarterfinals matchup at the Target Center. The Cornhuskers beat the Spartans by the score of 73-61.
With the loss, Michigan State drops to 22-8 overall on the year but should still be in a good position to reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2021.
