Michigan State football has extended an offer to South Carolina transfer offensive tackle Jazston Turnetine

Michigan State football has extended an offer to South Carolina transfer offensive tackle Jazston Turnetine.

Turnetine announced the offer from the Spartans via Twitter on Sunday. He is originally from Stockbridge, Ga., and is listed at 6-foot-6 and 337 pounds.

Turnetine started 10 games at left tackle for the Gamecocks, and is a target that has already received plenty of interest since entering the portal in late April. Florida State, Louisiana Tech, Houston, Arkansas State, Bowling Green and UConn have also extended offers his way, according to his Twitter account.

It appears Michigan State is looking to add a key piece to their offensive line depth with this offer to Turnetine. With starting experience at South Carolina, he would be a nice addition to what the Spartans already have in place and would certainly contend for a spot in the starting line up.
