Myles Garrett and Malik Nabers had the classiest mic’d-up exchange after the rookie’s acrobatic TD catch

This was so wholesome.

Malik Nabers didn’t find himself in the easiest situation as a top-10 pick in New York who has Daniel Jones as his quarterback. But through three games, the rookie receiver from LSU has lived up to the billing — and exceeded the loftiest expectations.

Even his opponents are showing respect in the middle of a game.

Nabers followed up his monster Week 2 performance with a two-touchdown game in Week 3 against the Browns. That effort included an acrobatic, spinning catch where Nabers was somehow able to get both feet in bounds. You don’t see many receivers — much less a rookie — make that catch. So, Browns star Myles Garrett had to give Nabers some credit during the game.

In a mic’d-up exchange from NFL Films, we could hear as Garrett said:

“Malik! You’re a bad boy. Keep doing your thing.”

Nabers responded, “Appreciate it. You too, sir.”

He’s out there calling opponents, “Sir!” You just know Nabers is about to become a favorite among NFL players.

Chiefs LB Nick Bolton was mic’d up during crucial play vs. Ravens

Check out this video of #Chiefs LB Nick Bolton mic’d up during Kansas City’s win over the Baltimore #Ravens last week.

Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Nick Bolton has already been part of two Super Bowl victories in his career and will help his team in its effort to win a third consecutive championship this season.

A 2021 draft pick from Missouri, Bolton has been productive with the Chiefs, logging 359 combined tackles and 2 sacks since his start in the NFL.

One of the most impactful players on Kansas City’s defense, the standout linebacker was mic’d up when he made another tackle in a key moment against the Baltimore Ravens last week.

Check out this video of Bolton hyping himself up for a huge play in the red zone that could have led to a Ravens score and threatened the Chiefs’ chances at victory.

At the end of the play, Bolton exclaims “That’s game!” which is something Kansas City’s fans can look forward to hearing in the future as the Chiefs continue working towards their ultimate goal of a Super Bowl three-peat.

The season continues for Kansas City on Sunday when the Chiefs play the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2 action.

Chiefs share Travis Kelce mic’d up supercut video from training camp

Check out some of Travis Kelce’s best mic’d up moments from #Chiefs training camp.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce seems to relish any time he gets on camera, whether in Hollywood or at practices during training camp.

While his meteoric rise to stardom off the football field was a key storyline during the 2024 offseason, his hilarious antics weren’t reserved for the silver screen when the Chiefs took the field in St. Joseph earlier this month.

Although Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are quite an entertaining pairing, the All-Pro pass-catcher proved that he could steal the show during a mic’d up recording at Missouri Western State University.

Check out Kelce’s greatest hits from this summer’s practice condensed into a two-minute highlight clip, which was posted to the Chiefs’ official Twitter account:

Kelce didn’t take the field in Kansas City’s preseason finale against the Chicago Bears but fans can expect to see him back in action when the Chiefs face the Baltimore Ravens on September 5.

WATCH: Carl Granderson mic’d up at Saints training camp practice

Carl Granderson was mic’d up at New Orleans Saints training camp practice. Here’s a day of work from his point of view:

Carl Granderson was mic’d up at New Orleans Saints training camp practice. Here’s a day of work from his point of view, which you can watch here. He’s the latest defender to wear a microphone into practice after other guys like Alontae Taylor and Willie Gay Jr. did so. Playmakers on offense like Rashid Shaheed and Cesar Ruiz have also given us a glimpse at practice from their perspectives.

Granderson is going to be a big player for the team again this year. He’s steadily climbed the depth chart to lead the Saints in snaps played at defensive end last season, logging 103 more reps than Cameron Jordan did. Expect Granderson and big-time free agent acquisition Chase Young to take point on passing downs.

Just how great can Granderson be? The former undrafted free agent has come a long way, and he’s coming off new career-highs in sacks (8.5) and tackles for loss (14). His 58 quarterback pressures were tied for 24th-most at Pro Football Focus, behind Young’s 66 (17th) and ahead of Jordan’s 45 (44th). He’s put in the work to become the future at defensive end for the Saints. All he has to do next is follow through and meet his own standards.

Travis Kelce coins new catchphrase in mic’d up video from Chiefs training camp

Travis Kelce was caught trying out a new catchphrase in this mic’d up video from #Chiefs training camp.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is known for his captivating presence on-camera, and never shies away from the limelight, especially at training camp.

Though the Chiefs’ time in St. Joseph came to an end last week, a video of Kelce’s mic’d-up antics at Missouri Western State University was posted by the team’s official Twitter account on Tuesday afternoon.

Though the clip was relatively innocuous, it included a new catchphrase that may soon make its way into the vernacular of fans in Kansas City and around the country, which Kelce was heard saying often during the Chiefs’ training camp practices.

Kelce isn’t expected to see the field against the Chicago Bears in Kansas City’s preseason finale, but he may find a way to work this new soundbite into interviews from the sideline.

Stay tuned to see if this quip sticks in Kelce’s lexicon, or if it proves to be nothing more than a training camp quirk.

Watch: Willie Gay Jr. mic’d up at New Orleans Saints training camp

Newcomer Willie Gay Jr. was mic’d up at a recent New Orleans Saints training camp practice. Here’s a day of work from his perspective.

The New Orleans Saints finally placed a microphone on a new addition. After getting perspective from offensive players back to back in Rashid Shaheed and Cesar Ruiz, the Saints dipped back into the defensive pool with Willie Gay Jr. Alontae Taylor was the first player to be mic’d up at Saints training camp and also the last defender.

Throughout the video, you can see the energy he goes through practice with. He’s racing Dennis Allen, dancing, and talking with anyone in earshot about more dancing and the music playing.

There were no pads worn for this practice, which was uncomfortable to Gay because the Saints had worn pads so many days in a row at that point. Gay is already endearing himself to fans who watch this video.

“I look good in Black and Gold,” Gay said. “I didn’t look this good in red and yellow.”

Gay is new to the team, but he’s clearly connected fast and fits right in. His attitude and talent make him a strong fit in the middle unit of the Saints defense.

Falcons WR Drake London was mic’d up for joint practice with Dolphins

WATCH: Falcons WR Drake London was mic’d up for joint practices in Miami

Two years ago, the Atlanta Falcons selected wide receiver Drake London with the No. 8 pick in the draft. The former USC star has lived up to the hype over his first two NFL seasons, racking up 141 catches for 1,771 receiving yards and six touchdowns.

While these numbers aren’t quite elite, London’s production is impressive when you provide some context. The Falcons have spent the last two years shuffling through subpar quarterbacks. Marcus Mariota was the team’s primary starter in 2022 and Desmond Ridder took over in 2023. Neither player is on track to start again anytime soon.

London has top-10 talent at the wide receiver position, but he needs a little help from Kirk Cousins to get the recognition he deserves. Based on what we’ve seen in training camp thus far, the 2024 season could be a big one for London.

Atlanta’s No. 1 wideout was mic’d up for joint practice with the Miami Dolphins this week. Watch the full segment below, as shared by the team’s Twitter account:

The Falcons lost wide receiver Rondale Moore for the season after he suffered a knee injury during Wednesday’s practice in Miami. Since Atlanta placed Moore on the injured reserve, somebody else needs to step up in 2024.

Could the team look to someone already on the roster, or sign a free-agent receiver? Both options are feasible but it likely depends on how some of the younger wideouts perform during the team’s preseason opener.

Check out the team’s updated depth chart and 90-man roster heading into Friday night’s matchup against the Miami Dolphins.

Watch: Rashid Shaheed mic’d up at Saints training camp practice

Rashid Shaheed was mic’d up at a recent New Orleans Saints training camp practice. Here’s a day of work from his POV:

Rashid Shaheed was mic’d up at a recent New Orleans Saints training camp practice, sharing a day of work from his perspective, which you can watch here. He wore a microphone onto the practice field for the final training camp session before the Saints had their first day off, and that was his message as he greeted his teammates in the huddle.

“Last work day, last work day,” Shaheed repeated, dapping up Jamaal Williams and other players around them. It’s obvious he brings as much energy before the snap as he does when he’s running downfield with the ball headed his way.

He’s a bit of a joker, too. Shaheed had a great reaction to offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak wiping out while demonstrating a drill and brought some levity to the session himself, dancing to the practice music playlist between reps. He’s someone Derek Carr sought out before and after team drills, but he returned the favor by complimenting younger teammates like Mason Tipton on running a great route.

And he spared a glance for the sideline, too: “I’ve got to make a play or two, my family’s out here watching.”

WATCH: Falcons head coach Raheem Morris mic’d up for practice

WATCH: Falcons head coach Raheem Morris was mic’d up at practice this week

The Atlanta Falcons struggled on the field last season and lacked personality off of it. Aside from “Joker” Cordarrelle Patterson, the team had almost no sizzle during the three years Arthur Smith served as the head coach. This likely would have been different if the team had won more games, but things get stale when you’re losing.

Atlanta’s current head coach, Raheem Morris, will never be accused of being boring. Morris has an energetic personality and a certain level of charisma that his players gravitate towards. If you need proof, check out this clip of Morris “mic’d up” at Wednesday’s training camp practice:

WATCH: Commanders safety Jeremy Reaves mic’d up in training camp

Jeremy Reaves having some fun at training camp.

Jeremy Reaves is one of the Washington Commanders’ most popular players. When general manager Adam Peters and head coach Dan Quinn took over earlier this year, they let most of Washington’s internal free agents walk.

Reaves, who was set to enter free agency after recovering from a major knee injury, was always a priority for the new regime. Reaves can play, but his impact is felt everywhere. He’s a team leader, a fan favorite, a special teams star, and a reserve safety who sets a standard in practice every day.

So, when the Commanders made it official, signing Reaves to a new two-year, his teammates and fans were happy. Reaves already appears to be a favorite of the new coaching staff.

Washington opened training camp this week, and the team mic’d up Reaves.

Give it a watch:

In this 60-second clip, you see why Reaves is so beloved. He’s chatting with everyone, from the training staff and equipment guys to linebacker Bobby Wagner and running back Brian Robinson Jr.

It’s good to see Reaves back on the field — and in Washington.
