Mic’d-up Saquon Barkley had a selfless response after the Eagles ran a tush push for Jalen Hurts at the 1

He’s chasing wins … not stats.

While the tush push isn’t quite the automatic touchdown in the post-Jason Kelce era as it once was, it’s still an incredibly tough play to stop when the Eagles get inside the two-yard line. It also means that Saquon Barkley misses out on some fantasy points.

He’s OK with that, though. In fact, he’s just happy that the tush push turns into six points for his team.

NFL Films released some mic’d-up video from Sunday’s win over the Panthers. Barkley had a seven-yard run to get the Eagles to the one-yard line. And though the tweet doesn’t mention that the Eagles gave Barkley another chance at the one, we got to hear the exchange as Jalen Hurts ultimately found the end zone on third down.

When Hurts tried to encourage Barkley after the running back’s missed TD chance, Barkley responded that it was fine by him.

He said, “I don’t care, bro. I’m trying to win. Let’s get it.”

That’s what being a good teammate is all about. He’s chasing wins — not stats.

Mic’d-up video showed the classy message that Sam Darnold had for Kirk Cousins after the Vikings’ win

All class.

Kirk Cousins spent six seasons with the Vikings — a run that included three Pro Bowls, a postseason win and had him ranking near the top of the franchise’s statistical leaderboard. And when Cousins moved on to join the Atlanta Falcons this past offseason, he knew Week 14’s return to Minnesota was going to be emotional.

But it was clear that Vikings players and coaches still had so much respect for Cousins.

Following the Vikings’ win over the Falcons, Sam Darnold — who passed for 347 yards and five touchdowns — made a point to let Cousins know that he’s still adored in Minnesota. The Falcons shared mic’d-up footage of the exchange.

Darnold said:

“The people here (expletive) love you, dude. It’s awesome to see.”

Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell also greeted Cousins with words of appreciation. It was nothing but class.

Fan-favorite OL was mic’d up during Chiefs’ Week 13 win vs. Raiders

The #Chiefs decided to put a microphone on one of their most beloved offensive lineman during Kansas City’s Week 13 win over the #Raiders.

The Kansas City Chiefs’ offensive line has been a major asset for the defending Super Bowl champions this season, and veteran center Creed Humphrey has been a key part of the unit’s success.

Though his contributions don’t always show up in the stat sheet, Humphrey’s role as an anchor on the Chiefs’ front-five has helped buoy Kansas City’s offense, which has generally struggled this season due to a series of devastating injuries.

Humphrey was mic’d up for the Chiefs’ Week 13 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, and he put together an inspiring effort that lifted Kansas City to its eleventh win.

Check out the full video of Humphrey’s mic’d up performance, which was posted to Twitter by the Chiefs’ official account:

Though Kansas City’s coaching staff may elect to shake up their offensive line in the coming weeks, fans can expect Humphrey to continue dominating opponents as the Chiefs make their push for a third-consecutive Super Bowl title.

Mic’d-up video showed Josh Allen’s hilarious exchange on the Bills sidelines after his epic receiving touchdown

“I love football.”

There’s nothing quite like a snow game’s ability to turn a primetime NFL matchup into chaos — in the best way. And the Buffalo Bills embraced all of that in Sunday night’s win over the 49ers.

It even gave us a hook-and-ladder touchdown from inside the 10-yard line.

With the Bills controlling the game in the third quarter, Josh Allen’s pass to Amari Cooper on first down looked to be stopped for little gain. But Allen saw an opportunity to call for a lateral, and Cooper was on the same page.

The result was, well, a Josh Allen touchdown pass to himself. And mic’d-up video from NFL Films showed how Allen’s Bills teammates broke down the play from the bench.

I love how everyone was trying to figure out how the play was going to be scored. And when Allen found out that it was indeed a receiving touchdown to himself, he thought it was hilarious.

“I love football,” Allen said.

That’s the kind of play that probably brought back childhood memories. Snow games rule.

WATCH: Bills’ Von Miller mic’d up in win vs. Chiefs

WATCH: Bills’ Von Miller mic’d up in win vs. Chiefs

The Buffalo Bills put their hat in the ring for the best team in the AFC with their Week 11 win over the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs.

A big reason for the 30-21 win was the constant pressure put on Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes by the Bills’ pass rush. Von Miller recorded a sack on a third down, his fourth sack in just six games played this year.

Luckily for fans, Miller was “mic’d” up in the win.

Hear from the veteran pass rusher in the YouTube player below:

Chiefs LB Drue Tranquill was mic’d up during Chamarri Conner’s INT vs. Bills

Kansas City #Chiefs LB Drue Tranquill was mic’d up during DB Chamarri Conner’s exciting interception against the Buffalo #Bills in Week 11.

The Kansas City Chiefs defense allowed 30 points for the first time this season in the defending Super Bowl champions’ Week 11 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night.

Despite their relatively poor performance, Steve Spagnuolo’s defensive unit still managed to make several impressive plays and showed outstanding effort against Josh Allen and the Bills’ impressive offense.

Among Kansas City’s top plays in the game was an interception by defensive back Chamarri Conner, which seemed to spark the Chiefs during their comeback attempt at Highmark Stadium.

Veteran linebacker Drue Tranquill was mic’d up during Conner’s interception and could be heard giving words of encouragement to his teammate during the play in a video that was posted to Twitter this morning:

As Spagnuolo, Conner, and Tranquill look to pick up the pieces and get back on track against the Carolina Panthers in Week 12, this video serves to remind fans that despite Kansas City’s loss, its players showed a ton of heart against Buffalo.

Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt was mic’d up for Kansas City’s Week 10 win over the Broncos

#Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt gave an inspired mic’d up performance in Kansas City’s Week 10 win over the Denver #Broncos.

The Kansas City Chiefs have relied on Kareem Hunt to set the tone for their offense in recent weeks, and the veteran running back hasn’t disappointed.

Hunt led Kansas City in receiving and rushing yards against the Denver Broncos in Week 10, and figures to play a key role in the Chiefs’ strategy for the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

As it turns out, Hunt was mic’d up for Kansas City’s win over Denver, and his rousing performance was one that Chiefs fans won’t want to miss.

Check out this video of Hunt’s hot-mic antics, which was posted to Twitter this week:

Clearly, Kansas City’s coaching staff and social media team can count on Hunt to deliver when it matters most, especially when facing a divisional rival like the Broncos.

Expect the former Toledo Rocket to be a key contributor for the Chiefs in their next game against the Bills in Week 11 as Kansas City looks to keep its perfect season alive.

Patrick Mahomes delivered inspiring mic’d up performance vs. Buccaneers

#Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes was mic’d up for Kansas City’s Week 9 win over the Tampa Bay #Buccaneers.

The Kansas City Chiefs are heading into a Week 10 matchup against the Denver Broncos as the NFL’s only undefeated team, and their latest victory was one for the ages.

In Week 9, Kansas City narrowly escaped Arrowhead Stadium with its ninth win of the regular season when the Chiefs faced the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a Super Bowl LV rematch.

Veteran running back Kareem Hunt scored the decisive touchdown in Kansas City’s overtime victory, but it was Patrick Mahomes’ inspiring performance that kept the Chiefs in contention late in the game.

As it turns out, Mahomes was mic’d up for Kansas City’s matchup against Tampa Bay and a video of his on-field interactions was shared by the Chiefs’ official Twitter account:

Stay tuned to see if the reigning Super Bowl MVP can replicate his outstanding showing against the Buccaneers when Kansas City plays Denver on November 10.

Mic’d-up video showed what Patrick Mahomes said when Andy Reid wanted to take him out after injury scare

Mahomes was not backing down.

Chiefs fans collectively held their breath on Monday night when Patrick Mahomes planted awkwardly and needed assistance off the field against the Buccaneers.

In the immediate aftermath of the injury, the worst-case scenarios were flowing: Achilles, ACL, high ankle sprain. There was concern for what was ultimately just a rolled ankle. And even Chiefs head coach Andy Reid was ready to err on the side of caution and sit Mahomes out for the rest of the game.

The three-time Super Bowl winning quarterback was having none of that.

After Mahomes left the field, he quickly started to loosen up that ankle — which he had rolled the previous game — and was fine to stay in the game. NFL Films captured the mic’d-up exchange when Reid tried to take Mahomes out, and we know how that went.

Mahomes defiantly refused to leave the game and told Reid, “I’m good. I’m good.”

That conversation looked awfully familiar from when Reid tried to take Mahomes out amid an ankle sprain during their 2023 Super Bowl run.

It worked out well for the Chiefs both times — that’s for sure.

Mic’d-up video captured the postgame message that Travis Kelce had for George Kittle after Chiefs win

They’re ready to run it back.

The Kansas City Chiefs are the NFL’s lone undefeated team despite not necessarily looking like a dominant team. The San Francisco 49ers are still NFC West contenders all while dealing with tons of injuries to key players.

That in itself had Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce thinking about a potential rematch in New Orleans.

Following the Chiefs’ Week 7 win over the 49ers to improve to 6-0 on the season, mic’d-up footage from NFL Films showed the exchange that Kelce had with 49ers tight end (and his friend) George Kittle. Kelce told Kittle that he’d love to run into the 49ers again in February — at the Super Bowl.

“Let’s do it again in February, bro,” Kelce said.

Kittle was down for it and was also a fan of Kelce’s cleats.

We’ll have to see if the two teams really do run it back, but the Chiefs have to like their chances.
