Sean Payton’s daughter posted perfect tweets ahead of ‘Thursday Night Football’

Sean Payton’s daughter, Meghan, shared a pair of perfect tweets ahead of the Broncos’ game against the Saints on ‘Thursday Night Football.’

Two weeks ago, Denver Broncos coach Sean Payton said rookie quarterback Bo Nix had some “Ferris Bueller” in him.

“Ferris was kind of quirky doing his own thing once in a while,” Payton said, comparing the character’s traits to those of his quarterback.

Nix not only took it in stride, but he embraced it, posting a funny Ferris Bueller on his Instagram page (and Payton loved it).

This week, Payton is returning to Louisiana to face his former team, the New Orleans Saints, on Thursday Night Football. One day before the game, Payton’s daughter, Meghan, posted a perfect tweet on Twitter/X:

A must-watch, indeed.

Meghan, who works for FanDuel TV, followed that up with another perfect tweet on game day: “It’s domecoming game day 🏈”

The Saints, of course, play at the Caesars Superdome.

Payton coached in New Orleans from 2006-2021, helping the team to a victory in Super Bowl XLIV following the 2009 season. He returns tonight, this time as a Saints opponent.

Sean Payton’s daughter posted perfect tweet ahead of NFL’s season opener

We agree, Meghan Payton!

The Kansas City Chiefs are set to host the Baltimore Ravens in the 2024 NFL season opener on Thursday night.

Ahead of tonight’s action, Sean Payton’s daughter, Meghan, took to Twitter/X with a perfect tweet: “go ravens.”

Go Ravens, indeed.

Meghan’s father, of course, is the head coach of the Denver Broncos, who play in the AFC West with the Chiefs. After taking over the Broncos in 2023, Payton helped Denver snap a 16-game losing streak to Kansas City that dated back to 2015.

That 24-9 upset last fall didn’t prevent the Chiefs from winning an eighth-straight division title in 2023, and KC is the favorite to win the AFC West again in 2024. If the Broncos are going to catch the Chiefs in the division, they could use help from other clubs.

The Ravens also play in the same conference, but they’re obviously not a division threat. The lesser of two evils in this case is Baltimore.

Thursday night’s opener will be nationally televised on NBC and available to stream on fuboTV (try it free). Kickoff is set for 6:20 p.m. MT.

Sean Payton’s daughter had a funny reaction to tweet about Broncos coach

Sean Payton’s kids clearly got his sense of humor.

Kay Adams visited Denver Broncos training camp this week to record interviews for her “Up and Adams Show.”

Before interviewing Broncos head coach Sean Payton on Wednesday, Adams took to Twitter/X to ask her followers, “What should I ask coach Sean Payton???”

The best response came from Payton’s daughter, Meghan:

Meghan works as a sports betting host and analyst for FanDuel TV, the same company that hosts Adams’ show.

Payton mentioned Meghan and his son, Connor, during his introductory press conference with the Broncos last year.

“I tell the story about my two kids: Connor, who is getting into scouting, he wants to eventually become a professional scout, and maybe a general manager,” Payton said. “My daughter, Meghan, obviously, is into journalism.

“I think they both decided Connor wants to hire and fire the coach and Meghan wants to cover the hiring and the firing of the head coach. They have seen my career from afar. A lot of moves, but a lot of great memories and championships.”

Entering his second season with the Broncos, Payton is hoping to improve on Denver’s 8-9 record from Year 1.
