Colts to host CB Mark Milton on top-30 visit

The Baylor CB posted a 4.45 in the 40-yard dash.

The Indianapolis Colts will host Baylor cornerback Mark Milton on a top-30 visit ahead of the 2023 NFL draft.

The cornerback position is arguably the biggest need on the roster for the Colts outside of their need to find a franchise quarterback. The team has been busy this offseason hosting a wide variety of prospects on visits.

According to Aaron Wilson of Click2Houston, Milton is the latest prospect to have a visit with the Colts.

Projected as a late Day 3 or priority free agent signing following the draft, Milton brings good size and some intriguing athleticism to the position. At 6-foot-1 and 186 pounds, he’s a bit lean, but he also has 31 1/2-inch arms and posted a 4.45 in the 40-yard dash.

The senior out of Baylor didn’t have eye-popping numbers during his collegiate career. His best season came in 2022 when he recorded one interception, three passes defended, and 45 tackles (34 solo).

The Colts have a need to fill out the depth in the cornerback room and that means looking everywhere for prospects who might be able to compete for a role. Even if Milton isn’t projected as a top prospect, the Colts may still have interest.

We’ll be tracking the Colts’ reported interest in the 2023 draft class so be sure to keep up with latest updates via our tracker.
