Analysis

– Sunday night’s matchup is just the sixth game between teams with two or fewer losses at this point in the season since 2007. The last two winners went on to win the Super Bowl (Broncos in 2015, Seahawks in 2013).

– The New Orleans Saints and Seattle Seahawks both won and improved to 9-2 on Sunday. If the Packers win in San Francisco, the NFC will have four teams with nine wins going into Week 13.

– With a win, Matt LaFleur can tie the franchise record for wins in a season by a first-year coach. Mike Holmgren (1992) and Mike Sherman (2000) both won nine games in their first seasons.

The fall portion of the 2019-20 PGA Tour season wraps up this week with the Tour’s annual stop at Sea Island Golf Club for the RSM Classic.

The event will use the new-look Plantation Course and its neighboring Seaside Course for Thursday and Friday’s opening rounds. Saturday and Sunday’s rounds will be held only on Seaside.

Brendon Todd will look for a third consecutive PGA Tour win this weekend among a field that includes the likes of Webb Simpson, Billy Horschel, Kevin Kisner and Matt Kuchar.
