Arkansas – Auburn: LIVE updates, scores and highlights from second half

Auburn is running away with this one after a truly awful first half from the Hogs. Here’s live updates from the second half in Fayetteville.

Mercifully, the first half in Fayetteville has come to an end. Arkansas finds themselves trailing Auburn 27-3 after an abysmal 30 minutes of football.

Over the course of two quarters, the Hogs were outplayed in all three phases of the game and looked completely unprepared to play today. The offensive line can’t block, the defense can’t finish tackles and special teams continue to prove costly.

[autotag]KJ Jefferson[/autotag] finished the first half 6-12 for just 50 yards passing. He also has just 37 yards rushing on 13 attempts. Four of those attempts were sacks, as Jefferson was pressured the entire half.

Auburn outgained the Hogs 227-110 in total offense and that’s a big reason why the score is so lopsided.

Arkansas – Florida: LIVE updates, scores and highlights from second half

We’re all tied up at 17 in Gainesville as the second half begins. Follow along for live updates from the final 30 minutes from “The Swamp.”

The Arkansas Razorbacks got off to a quick start in the first half against Florida.

Their first offensive drive under [autotag]Kenny Guiton[/autotag] went 7 plays, for 75 yards and ended with a touchdown. On the first play from scrimmage for the Florida offense, Arkansas defensive back Jaylon Braxton stripped the ball from Ricky Pearsall and took it 34 yards for a touchdown.

Arkansas led 14-0 less than three minutes into the game, but it was rather ugly from that point on. Florida settled in and scored two touchdowns to the tie game back up. Meanwhile, the Razorback offensive line continued to struggle, which led to plays not being able to develop and drives ending very quickly.

The two teams traded field goals before halftime, and that’s where things stand now. Follow along below for live drive-by-drive and score-by-score updates from the second half in “The Swamp” in Gainesville.

Arkansas – Florida: LIVE updates, scores and highlights from first half

Arkansas looks to end their six-game losing streak as they face Florida in “The Swamp.” Follow along for live updates from today’s game.

Arkansas is nursing a six-game losing streak enter Saturday’s game against the Florida Gators. Despite the season-long struggle, the Hogs are looking to get a jolt of energy on the offensive side of the ball.

Offensive coordinator Dan Enos was fired shortly after the Razorbacks’ 7-3 loss to Mississippi State two weeks ago, making way for wide receivers coach – and former Ohio State quarterback – Kenny Guiton to take the play-calling reins. Arkansas’s offense was ranked 120th out of 130 FBS programs, under Enos.

Surprisingly, the bettors in Vegas seem to have loaded up on the Hogs this week. The current line on the game has Arkansas getting 3.5 points, dropping two full points since Thursday.

Guiton spent four years working under former Razorback offensive coordinator Kendall Briles, who departed for TCU after last season. So, it can be expected that the Hogs will revert back to what they have done the previous three seasons, under Briles, which is a much faster pace of play with quarterback KJ Jefferson improvising outside of the pocket.

Arkansas (2-6, 0-5 SEC) was off last week, giving the Hogs’ extra time to get adjusted to a new offensive coordinator, and allowed them to get some guys healthy for the stretch run.

Here’s updates from the first half of today’s action from Gainesville.

Arkansas – Alabama: LIVE updates, scores and highlights from first half

Can Arkansas finally beat Alabama and turn their season around? Follow along for live updates and highlights from the first half in Tuscaloosa.

The [autotag]Arkansas Razorbacks[/autotag] (2-4, 0-3 SEC) enter Saturday’s early morning tilt with the No. 11 Alabama Crimson Tide (5-1, 3-0) in desperate need of a win.

[autotag]Sam Pittman[/autotag]’s team is in the midst of a four-game losing streak and losing this week would put their bowl game hopes in serious jeopardy. Unfortunately, getting said victory is much easier said than done.

Not only is [autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag]’s Crimson Tide team ranked No. 11 in the country and playing really good football, but they’ve owned the matchup with Arkansas in recent history. Alabama has not lost to the Hogs in 16 years, a streak that started in 2007 – Saban’s first year as head coach of the Tide.

It’s a very tall task for a team that has struggled as much as Arkansas has, to go into Tuscaloosa and knock off a surging Alabama squad. But the Hogs are desperate and it’s an early, 11:00 a.m. kickoff. Crazier things have happened.

Arkansas – Texas A&M: LIVE updates, scores and highlights from second half

Arkansas trails Texas A&M 17-6 entering the second half. Follow along for updates, scores and highlights from AT&T Stadium.

Arkansas is in danger of letting this game slip away as they trail the Texas A&M Aggies 17-6 at halftime.

The Hogs trail in almost every statistical category except penalties, which has been the major point of emphasis this week. The Aggies have been called for three penalties, but the Hogs have yet to be flagged.

Texas A&M has 225 yards of total offense compared to Arkansas’ 124 yards. The Hogs have gotten inside the 10-yard line on drive twice, but only have two field goals to show for it. That was a common theme in last week’s loss to LSU, settling for field goals instead of scoring touchdowns.

The Aggies were able to play the game management around halftime perfectly, as they scored to end the half and get the ball to start the second half.

Arkansas – Texas A&M: LIVE updates, scores and highlights from first half

Follow along for live updates, scores and highlights from all of today’s action in Arkansas and Texas A&M.

The Arkansas Razorbacks enter Saturday’s contest with Texas A&M on a two-game losing skid.

After one-possession losses at home to BYU and on the road to LSU, the Hogs need to get back in the win column on Saturday. If they don’t, they could be looking at a 2-5 start to a season that was once filled with quiet confidence and optimism.

The games in Arlington seem to almost always be close, but Arkansas only has one win over the last 11 games in this series. Bobby Petrino being the new offensive coordinator for the Aggies has added some extra flair to this game, but you can probably expect the same sort of theatrics and drama that this game has been know for in recent history.

Arkansas entered tonight’s game as massive underdogs, but they’ve played like the better team through the better part of 30 minutes tonight. After having two drives stall out in the redzone and having to settle for a pair of field goals, the offense was able to put one in the endzone before halftime.

[autotag]KJ Jefferson[/autotag] found [autotag]Tyrone Broden[/autotag] for a 19-yard touchdown reception to give Arkansas the 13-3 lead with 48 seconds left until halftime. The Tigers were able to strike right back when Jayden Daniels found Brian Thomas Jr. for a 49-yard touchdown just 18 seconds later. Still, Arkansas was able to build a 13-10 lead heading into halftime.
