Broncos fans can still buy ‘Let’s Ride’ merchandise

The Russell Wilson era has ended in Denver but his legacy lives on.

The Russell Wilson era is over in Denver, but his legacy lives on.

Wilson went viral on social media for his signature “Let’s Ride” catchphrase with the Broncos. It eventually reached a point of fans begging him to stop saying it even after losses (he eventually did stop).

Denver fans who were traumatized by the catchphrase freaked out when new quarterback Bo Nix said “Let’s … go!” after being drafted by the team in April. That was a close call.

The Broncos moved on from Wilson this offseason and fans have moved on from the catchphrase, but marketing departments still have some leftover merchandise to sell.

Earlier this year, the team’s official store emailed fans a promotion for a “Let’s Ride” Broncos hat. It was not well-received by fans on Reddit.

The hat does not appear to be available anymore, but there’s a t-shirt (affiliate link) and hoodie (affiliate link) still listed on Fanatics, and the same items are listed on NFL Shop and the team’s official online store.

Wilson now plays for the Steelers, who will visit Denver in Week 2. Perhaps the phase will be revisited for that game.

Sean Payton sparks Josh Jacobs rumors, gives Broncos funny catchphrase at the Super Bowl

Sean Payton hinted about Josh Jacobs as a potential free agent target, and he (jokingly?) suggested #BuckEm as a new catchphrase for Denver.

Sean Payton has quickly started making headlines since becoming the Denver Broncos’ new head coach.

First, Payton kicked quarterback Russell Wilson’s personal training staff out of the team’s facility. Wilson can continue working with them on his own time, but not at the club’s UCHealth Training Center. That decision created quite a buzz in the football world and was well-received in Broncos Country.

Now the coach, who is still under contract with Fox through the Super Bowl, is making more headlines at Super Bowl media week.

Payton made an appearance on the Up & Adams show with Kay Adams on Thursday and he created quite a stir when he said “maybe we[‘ll] look at him,” referring to Las Vegas Raiders pending free agent running back Josh Jacobs.

Jacobs to Denver during free agency? Payton just increased speculation.

Payton also stopped by the Pat McAfee Show and informed McAfee “we don’t like ‘Let’s Ride,'” which was quarterback Russell Wilson’s infamous catchphrase last season.

So, what’s the new catchphrase for the Broncos?

Russell Wilson’s ‘Let’s Ride’ meme continues to grow

Both in college and the pros, Russell Wilson’s viral “Let’s Ride” campaign is a hit.

This meme isn’t going away anytime soon.

Earlier this year, Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson was caught on camera reciting “Broncos Country, Let’s Ride!” for video promos for the 2022 season. Because Wilson repeats it so many times with different inflections, the video is a bit awkward and — as Wilson often is — a little corny.

The original “Let’s Ride” video went viral on social media and fans have made many memes from the footage. Then, players from other teams (both in college and the pros) began making spoof versions of the video.

ESPN recently created a montage of some of the remakes alongside Wilson’s original “Let’s Ride” campaign:

To Wilson’s credit, he’s been a good sport about it, and he hasn’t backed down from using the catchphrase. The Broncos have latched onto it too, using it on social media and in promos for the upcoming season.

Fans in Denver will have no complaints about having a corny quarterback if he helps the team get back into the playoff hunt this season.

Keenan Allen trolls Russell Wilson’s viral ‘Let’s Ride’ video

This meme will probably continue all season.

Everybody’s a comedian.

In the spring, Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson went viral on social media after the team shared a video of him repeating “Broncos Country, Let’s Ride!” during media day.

The video has more than four million views and other athletes have spoofed it, including several college football players. Wilson’s been a good sport about it.

The latest impersonation comes from Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen, who trolled the video at a recent practice by repeating “Bolt Fam, Let’s Ride!”

The Chargers shared footage from Allen’s trolling on Twitter and the video already has more than one million views.

It seems clear that this meme isn’t going to go away anytime soon.

The original video is cheesy and awkward, but Broncos fans won’t mind having a meme-worthy quarterback if he gets results on the field. Wilson’s reached two Super Bowls in his career so far and he’s now aiming to reach a third in Denver.

Russell Wilson reacts to FAU spoofing his viral ‘Let’s Ride’ video

Russell Wilson’s a good sport 😅

He’s a cheesy quarterback, but he’s our cheesy quarterback.

After their media day earlier this offseason, the Denver Broncos shared a video of Russell Wilson repeating his new signature catchphrase: “Broncos Country, Let’s Ride!”

The video went viral on Twitter with more than four million views. The Broncos filmed multiple takes so Wilson ended up repeating “Let’s Ride” eight times and it created a somewhat awkward video that was mocked by other NFL fan bases from across the league.

Because it was filmed in front of a green screen, fans also created countless memes.

Even the media team at Florida Atlantic University took note of the viral video and they had one of their football players spoof it with the the catchphrase “Owl Nation, Let’s Fly!”

Wilson was a good sport about the spoof.

Wilson might have his fair share of meme-worthy moments, but he’s already demonstrated excellent leadership in Denver and if he leads the team to wins on the field, no Broncos fans will be complaining about a cheesy catchphrase.
