2025 4-star TE out of Jasper (TX) has committed to Texas A&M

2025 4-star tight end Kiotti Armstrong has committed to Texas A&M!

Boom! Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class has added its 14th commitment in the cycle. Four-star do-it-all tight end Kiotti Armstrong, out of Jasper, Texas, has announced his intentions, choosing the Aggies over rival Texas in one of the more significant recruiting wins of the offseason.

Coincidentally, or maybe not at all, Armstrong visited Texas A&M on Thursday, and by all accounts, that was the most effective campus visit thus far. Overall, his commitment couldn’t have come at a better time, as an official visit to Texas is set for next weekend, and the Longhorns will look to gain ground, now solidly in second place.

On the field, Armstrong is one of the best athletes in the country, with the potential to play on the defensive line or offensive line at the next level if he chooses to do so. Standing at an imposing 6-6 and 250 pounds, Armstrong recorded just 268 receiving yards during his 2023 junior season but hauled in 9 touchdowns on the year.

With new offensive coordinator Collin Klein implementing his tight end-heavy scheme this season, Armstrong can unlock his full potential at the position once he steps on campus in 2025.

According to 247Sports, Armstrong is currently positioned as the 76th-ranked prospect in the 2025 class, the 3rd-ranked tight end, and the 14th-ranked prospect in Texas.

[autotag]Kiotti Armstrong[/autotag] is a 6-foot-6, 248-pound, four-star tight end from the 2025 recruiting class. He is from Jasper, Texas, where he plays for Jasper High School. The Jasper Bulldogs finished the 2022 season 7-4 with a loss to Sealy in the first round of the 4A D2 playoffs.

There are currently no Crystal Ball projections at this time for Armstrong but TCU is a 56% favorite to land him per On3.

Film Analysis: Armstrong is a mismatch for any linebacker or cornerback that tries to take him one-on-one.

Multiple 2025 prospects are currently trending towards Texas A&M

2025 4-star tight end Kiotti Armstrong and 3-star OG Joshua Moses are currently trending towards committing to Texas A&M.

Texas A&M’s annual recruiting pool party was by all means a success due to the overall turnout as the 2024 and 2025 recruiting classes were well represented, and based on several quotes from the weekend, Jimbo Fisher and his staff have remained highly influential recruiters as we head into August, as the 2023 season is now just one month away.

While most of the Aggies 2024 cycle is likely set in stone ahead of National Signing Day in February, the 2025 cycle is once again filled to the brim with talent at every position, and two class members are currently trending towards Texas A&M.

First, 2025 four-star tight end Kiotti Armstrong, who stands at 6-5 and nearly 250 pounds, was one of the many 2025 prospects to attend the pool party and is currently positioned as the 48th-ranked player in Texas. The 8th-ranked tight end in the class has received a Rivals forecast from recruiting analyst Landyn Rosow to land with Texas A&M.

Next, underrated 2025 offensive lineman Joshua Moses, positioned as the 82nd-ranked player in Texas, stands at 6-3 and 324 pounds and is undoubtedly a future riser in the recruiting ranks. After the Aggies offered Moses in February, he also received a forecast from Rosow to commit to the Maroon and White.

Texas A&M’s 2025 class may not have any players signed, but remember that before June, the Aggies’ 2024 cycle was in the single digits and now contains 18 verbal commitments.

Gators offer blue-chip tight end out of Lone Star State

Billy Napier and his staff are entering the recruiting race for a blue-chip tight end out of Jasper, Texas.

The Florida Gators offered a scholarship to Jasper High (Texas) tight end [autotag]Kiotti Armstrong[/autotag] on Friday.

Tight ends coach Russ Callaway made the offer, according to a tweet from Armstrong. He currently holds offers from Baylor, Houston, Miami, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas and Texas A&M, among others.

The obvious theme among the teams already invested in the 6-foot-5-inch, 246-pounder is that most are from his home state. That could put Florida at a disadvantage, especially with SEC programs interested that are closer to home.

The Texas Christian Horned Frogs currently top the On3 recruiting prediction machine with 60.3% odds to land Armstrong. Houston (4.8%), Texas A&M (4.1%) and Baylor (3.4%) round out the top four. Florida’s just getting into this race but could see a jump with a visit.

Armstrong is a four-star recruit everywhere but On3, where he received a three-star grade. The On3 industry ranking, which uses a weighted average of all four major services, places him at No. 141 overall and No. 4 among tight ends in the class of 2025.
