Celebrity and businesswoman Kim Kardashian was briefly married to former NBA forward Kris Humphries and is an LA fan since Lamar Odom wore the Lakers. Check out some pictures of Kardashian at NBA games through the years.

Kim Kardashian attended the 104-101 Lakers’ win in Game 4 vs. the Golden State Warriors. The celebrity and businesswoman. who’s had several family connections with the NBA (including a marriage to forward Kris Humphries), has watched quite a few games live over the years.

Tristan Thompson is about to be a new …

Tristan Thompson is about to be a new dad again — but instead of being in L.A. for the imminent birth … he’s halfway across the world, living it up with some lovely ladies. TMZ has obtained footage of the NBA star at a club called Bonbonniere in Mykonos, Greece very early Friday morning (2:30 AM) — where we’re told he was surrounded by friends, plus, some female company … a handful of women seemingly hanging around near him too.

Giants’ Darius Slayton: ‘Dating a Kardashian’ the scariest curse in sports

New York Giants WR Darius Slayton (tongue-in-cheek) believes “dating a Kardashian” is the worst curse in all of sports.

If one of the Kardashian’s suddenly become available, do not expect New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton to shoot his shot.

This past Friday — Friday the 13th — SportsCenter posed a very simple question: “What’s the scariest curse in sports history?”

Some of the answers were obvious. There was, of course, the Madden curse and the “Drake wearing your team’s jersey” curse. There were also others suggested, like just playing in Minnesota (terrible sports history there). And for fans of the New York Giants, there were references to the infamous Miami boat trip.

In fact, that boat trip came up a second time over the weekend.

But the aforementioned Slayton had a different line of thought when it came to the worst sports curse. His answer came at the cross-section of sports and entertainment.

“Dating a Kardashian,” he tweeted.

“The Kardashian Curse” is something that has evolved over the years and does not sit well with the clan, including Kendall Jenner, who has been very outspoken about the curse.

“What I don’t like about this narrative is that the blame is on us. I think the men need to take that responsibility. It’s almost offensive, personally,” Jenner told Maxim of the athletes who have faltered after dating a Kardashian or Jenner.

Among the professional athletes to date a Kardashian or Jenner are Kris Humphries, Lamar Odom, Tristan Thompson, James Harden, Ben Simmons, Reggie Bush, Miles Austin, Derrick Ward, Matt Kemp and Devin Booker.

For many of those players, they struggled during and after dating within the Kardashian. And for some, they never recovered from the dreaded “Kardashian curse.”

While we asked directly about Tristan, …

While we asked directly about Tristan, Lamar clearly didn’t want to discuss him … simply saying “he’s corny” for what he did. TT and Lamar have butted heads in the past, like earlier this year after Lamar left a comment on a Khloe post. Of course, Lamar’s had his challenges over the years — including his nearly-fatal OD in 2015 — and other substance abuse struggles, but he seems to be on the straight and narrow lately.

Khloé Kardashian will commentate first-ever ‘Candy Crush Saga’ esports tournament

No, you are not dreaming right now. The headline is legit!

Bet you never thought Candy Crush Saga would be esports-worthy, eh? Well, buckle up because Candy Crush All Stars is an upcoming tournament that will pit the best, uh, “crushers” against each other. Oh, and Khloé Kardashian will host and commentate the whole thing.

Unsurprisingly, how this all works is a bit bizarre. Candy Crush Saga players over level 25 from across the United States will compete in qualifier rounds starting Sept. 23 and running through Oct. 7 with finals sometime in November. Sadly, it’s all online. I was hoping for giant stadiums full of neon hues and colorful computer chairs as if this were a League of Legends or Overwatch event.

“Anyone who knows me knows that I think I’m the most competitive in my family, and it’s no different when it comes to Candy Crush,” Kardashian said in a press release. “The All-Stars tournament offers the perfect opportunity to take my crushing skills to the next level. I wish the best of luck to everyone playing and look forward to crowning the first-ever Candy Crush All Star! For now, get those fingers warmed up and get practicing!”

It’s hard to imagine Candy Crush Saga as esports because, well, it’s a very simplistic time-wasting game without any in-depth mechanics. However, this tournament fits the criteria no matter how silly it seems on paper.
