A Michigan State target and a top wide receiver from Pennsylvania in the 2022 class will reveal his college decision this upcoming week.

Three-star wide receiver Kevin Thomas of Philadelphia revealed on Saturday that he will be committing on Wednesday. Thomas is ranked as the No. 480 overall prospect and No. 65 wide receiver in 247Sports’ compsite rankings for the 2022 class.

Thomas holds scholarship offers from numerous big-time programs, including Michigan State, West Virginia, Arizona State, Florida, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Oregon, Tennessee, Pitt, Syracuse and Texas A&M. However, it appears it’ll come down to either the Spartans or Mountaineers on Wednesday.

Michigan State has one wide receiver and a pair of athlete commits already in the 2022 class so Thomas could be the final wide out they intend to sign should he pick the Spartans. Stay tuned for more coverage on Thomas’ decision this upcoming week.

Michigan State football continues to recruit in areas that were not huge for recruiting in the Dantonio era. On Wednesday, 3-star wide receiver Kevin Thomas out of Philadelphia announced that Michigan State is in the top-5 for his recruitment.

Thomas is 6’3″, 187-pound and ranked as the No. 479 player in the 2022 class by 247Sports. They also have him ranked as the No. 115 wide receiver and the No. 18 ranked player in Pennsylvania, where he plays for Neumann Goretti high school.

His top-5 were:

  • Florida
  • Michigan State
  • Nebraska
  • Texas A&M
  • West Virginia

247Sports currently has him projected to go to West Virginia.

Known for his versatility, Thomas will be able to be a burner as well as a big-bodied wide receiver. Thomas is currently ranked as the No. 458 prospect in the nation according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Michigan State is featured in the top ten list along with Florida, Arizona State, Oregon, Cincinnati, Ole Miss, West Virginia, Texas A&M, Maryland and Nebraska.

The Spartans currently lead the 247Sports crystal ball predictions.

One of the top 2022 wide receiver prospects from Pennsylvania has locked in an official visit to Michigan State for late June.

Kevin Thomas — a three-star wide receiver from Philadelphia — announced on Wednesday night that he’ll be taking an official visit to Michigan State. His visit to East Lansing will occur during the weekend of June 25.

Thomas is ranked as the No. 61 wide receiver and No. 456 overall prospect in the 2022 class by 247Sports.

Thomas currently holds scholarship offers from numerous power five programs, including Michigan State, West Virginia, Arizona State, Florida, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Oregon, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Tennessee and Texas A&M.
