Michigan football gets prediction from 2025 RB at familiar Georgia high school

A 4-star RB in SEC territory with Georgia and Alabama offers? Yes, please! #GoBlue

Michigan football is working diligently to close the 2024 recruiting class, even though there are still slightly more than five months until the early signing period. The Wolverines are turning their attention to 2025, it appears.

Hailing from Buford (Georgia) — the same high school as former running back Christian Turner (who is now with the Indiana Hoosiers) — Justin Baker is a four-star prospect according to Rivals, the 26th-best running back in 2025 and the 23rd-rated player in the state of Georgia. Coming off a class in which Michigan has four-star tailback Jordan Marshall and three-star Micah Ka’apana, there’s some indication Baker could end up in the fold in 2025.

That is, according to Maize & Blue Review publisher Josh Henschke, who put in a Rivals futurecast for Baker to become a Wolverine.

Though 247Sports lists Baker as a three-star prospect, he has an impressive offer sheet. He has opportunities from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas State, Michigan State, NC State, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee and USC.

Baker is listed at 5 feet, 10 inches and 200 pounds. Michigan football extended the offer to the tailback in SEC territory on May 11.
