Nations top 2026 quarterback has Ohio State in top eight

He needs to get on campus ASAP #GoBucks

There aren’t many schools in the country that develop quarterback talent like [autotag]Ohio State[/autotag] does.

Just that alone puts them on many signal callers’ short list of teams they’d like to play for in college. One of those is 5-star Georgia quarterback, [autotag]Julian “Ju Ju” Lewis[/autotag]. The class of 2026 star isn’t ranked at the current moment, but he has scholarships from all the major powers across the country giving many the idea that he’s the best at the position in his class.

Lewis on Wednesday dropped his top eight schools, with Ohio State making the cut along with schools like Alabama, USC, Georgia, and LSU. The 6-foot, 1-inch, 175-pound quarterback has early offers from every one of his top group as he begins his sophomore year in high school.

Whoever lands Lewis will have an elite player at the position and hopefully, he ends up in Scarlet and Gray.

Report: Ohio State to host nation’s top 2026 quarterback this spring

This is a huge visit for Ohio State #GoBucks

If you play quarterback under [autotag]Ryan Day[/autotag] at Ohio State, the likelihood you will be a first-round NFL draft choice is pretty high. [autotag]Justin Fields[/autotag] was the 11th selection in the 2021 draft. [autotag]C.J. Stroud[/autotag] will hear his name called on Day 1 in April as well.

This kind of track record is going to attract some of the best high school quarterback recruits in the country. Georgian, 2026 [autotag]Julian “Ju Ju” Lewis[/autotag] is one of these, viewed as the top quarterback in his class.

Lewis was offered a scholarship by Ohio State on Jan. 19 and according to a report by 247Sports Steve Wiltfong, Lewis will visit Columbus for a few days and attend the LiFEsports Spring Game.

The report also states Columbus isn’t the only place Lewis will visit, but it is the only one his whole family, not just his father, is seeing. Ohio State is the only spring game he will see during his visits as well.
