Jason Pierre-Paul offers some words of wisdom on Instagram

See what Bucs outside linebacker Jason Pierre-Paul had to say to his fans on Instagram.

One of Bruce Arians’ goals entering the offseason — besides finding a new quarterback — was to try and keep his defense together. It seemed like a tall task considering guys like Shaq Barrett, Ndamukong Suh and Jason Pierre-Paul were all hitting free agency.

But as luck would have it, Tampa Bay was able to keep all three of those defensive stars, and perhaps the best signing was that of Jason Pierre-Paul. JPP played in only 10 games last season while recovering from a fractured neck he suffered last offseason, but in those 10 games he collected 8.5 sacks. If the Bucs can keep him healthy for a full 16 games, then Shaq Barrett’s single-season franchise record of 19.5 sacks, which he set last season, could be topped in 2020.

Pierre-Paul has a lot to offer on defense, but he also has some sage wisdom to offer his Instagram followers. Take a look at his recent post below.

Jason Pierre-Paul is getting into the holiday spirit

See a festive Jason Pierre-Paul boarding the team plane for Detroit.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head into Detroit in Week 15 to take on the woeful Lions. The Bucs may already be eliminated from the playoffs, but a win Sunday would make it four-straight for Bruce Arians’ squad and pull their record back to .500.

It’s been an up-and-down season for the Bucs, highlighted by their brutal five-game stretch away from home earlier in the year. But, this team has a lot to be thankful for. They’ve seen the emergence of third-year receiver Chris Godwin, who has not only solidified himself as a true No. 2, but also has a chance to break the franchise’s single-season receiving mark.

On the defensive side, the team couldn’t be happier to have defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul back in the mix. JPP suffered a fractured neck in a single-car accident during the offseason, which put his season in doubt. But, Pierre-Paul has come back strong and seems to be enjoying life (and the holidays) as the team headed to Detroit today.

Take a look.

You’ve got to admit, he does make red look good. JPP seems like a happy guy just as long as he doesn’t catch you taking pictures of his car.

Jason Pierre-Paul doesn’t appreciate you taking pictures of his car

Here’s a fun little PSA for you all on a Friday afternoon, courtesy of Tampa Bay Buccaneers pass rusher Jason Pierre-Paul.

The star defensive end, who missed the beginning of the season while recovering from a fractured neck he sustained in a car accident this offseason, took to Instagram today to voice his displeasure about something near and dear to him — people taking pictures of his car!

Check out the video rant below from JPP, who caught someone filming his super sweet ride. The car windows must be tinted since the person clearly didn’t see Pierre-Paul until he rolled the window down.

JPP has 3.5 sacks in six games this season. He’ll look to keep the pressure on Indianapolis Colts quarter Jacoby Brissett this Sunday at Raymond James Stadium. Tampa Bay will look to make it three-straight wins against a struggling Indy team, who have lost four of their last five games.
