NO. ES. CIERTO.

Es cierto. ¡UGH!

Y no estamos NADA contentos.

Vengan a Seattle a vernos jugar.

Joey Votto was asked by a young fan to do a TikTok with her and he more than delivered

This is the best.

Joey Votto, as you may or may not know, is the most fun for a variety of reasons and things he’s done on and off the field during his awesome Cincinnati Reds career.

But he’s also the king of MLB TikTok and Instagram as far as I’m concerned.

And on Monday, with the Reds facing the Arizona Diamondbacks, a young fan held up a sign asking if he’d make a TikTok with her. Of course he said yes, and it turned out absolutely perfect.

They discussed, they practiced, and they danced The Griddy. This is delightful.

So here’s how the magic started:

And how it’s going:

That’s the best.

An MLB fan turned $20K into $85K off an incredible 6-player home run parlay

A night of countless, profitable dingers.

This season, it’s been hard not to speculate whether the MLB has done something to its baseballs.

For a while, home runs were down — way down — and of course, that meant scoring was down, too. Pitchers couldn’t get a good grip on the ball with a crackdown on substances that help with such an issue. Hitters couldn’t mash the ball the way they wanted to.

If you were a betting person, it probably would’ve been a bit silly to bet on a home run or scoring burst. But hey: Sometimes you have to be bold for glory. One lucky fan, who apparently thought there might be a wave of home runs on Friday, hit the absolute jackpot.

Between 15 different games and all 30 teams, players hit 57 home runs on Friday. You read that right. A big 5-7, tied for the fourth-most on any single day in MLB history:

And because the bettor thought Aaron Judge, Anthony Rizzo, Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, Joc Pederson, and Joey Votto would all hit dingers on the same day: That very fortunate fan turned $20,000 into a near-whopping $85,000.

Wow. Talk about striking the exact right chord with a bet. Baseball has a home run day for the ages, and a fan cashes in on incredible dinger after dinger. There are definitely worse ways to spend a Friday.

6 videos that prove Joey Votto is a must-follow on TikTok and Instagram

He’s so good.

Joey Votto was already one of the most fun players to watch in all of Major League Baseball.

Whether it was mic’d up moments or being funny or trolling fans or just being delightfully weird, the Cincinnati Reds first baseman never fails to deliver.

But now … he’s joined TikTok and Instagram.

And the content he’s putting out? It’s so good, right on brand with what we’ve seen from Votto on the field and in front of cameras.

So here are a few great videos and posts to convince you he’s a must-follow athlete on social media. He clearly gets it:

Even MLB All-Star Joey Votto was talking Masters while wearing mic for ESPN2 on Opening Day

Joey Votto of the Cincinnati Reds wore a microphone and talked golf and the Masters during a live telecast.

Thursday was the first round of the long-anticipated 2022 Masters.

It was also Opening Day in Major League Baseball.

About two hours west of Augusta National Golf Club, where Tiger Woods is the headliner, the defending World Series champion Atlanta Braves hosted the Cincinnati Reds to kick off the baseball season.

Joey Votto, an All-Star entering his 16th season, wore a microphone for the ESPN2 telecast, which produced some pretty great moments on live TV.

“Each and every one of these Opening Days are special, and they just make you feel so young,” Votto told ESPN2. “Opening Days in Major League Baseball don’t disappoint. And I’m so grateful that I get to be a part of this year’s.”

Later in the game, after a second-inning strikeout, Votto said he wouldn’t be late on another fastball. He wasn’t late on his RBI single an inning later to give the Reds a 2-0 lead in a game they went on to win 6-3.

In the fourth inning, after greeting Atlanta’s Ozzie Albies at first base, Votto started talking golf and the Masters.

Votto also did some play-by-play of a strikeout while standing at first base.

ESPN had previously put mics on MLB players for spring training games and Fox has done it for some MLB All-Star Games.

Dave Clark of the Cincinnati Enquirer contributed to this article.

MLB fans could not get enough of Joey Votto and Ozzie Albies’s wholesome mic’d up exchange

The duo we never knew we needed in our lives.

Joey Votto and Ozzie Albies is the duo we never knew we needed in our lives.

On Opening Day on Thursday, the Cincinnati Reds were in town visiting the reigning World Series champions in the Atlanta Braves to kick off the season. Reds’ first baseman Joey Votto was mic’d up for the occasion with the game being on national television, also for a bit of fun because it’s Opening Day!

Baseball fans were treated to a delightful exchange between Votto and Ozzie Albies midway through the fourth inning. With Albies on first, Votto started talking to the broadcast team, looping his opponent in on the action, which resulted in an adorably wholesome moment as the Braves second baseman said hello to the audience at home.

How awesome is that? Not only that, Albies approved of Votto getting a diamond tooth!

Baseball fans were absolutely enamored with this duo, which we absolutely need more of as soon as possible.

Joey Votto had an unforgettable moment with a 10-year-old Reds fan battling cancer

All class.

When it comes to making positive impacts on young fans, Reds first baseman Joey Votto is one of the best in baseball. He consistently proves that with class.

During Tuesday night’s broadcast of the Reds-Cubs game, the Bally Sports crew shared a video interaction from a few days earlier at Great American Ball Park. Votto had invited 10-year-old Evan Roach of Cincinnati to the game as his guest. Evan — a huge Reds fan — is battling cancer.

And Votto didn’t stop at just inviting Roach to the game. He made the extra effort to get to know Evan, which was awesome. The broadcast aired an exchange between Votto and Evan that took place before Votto’s first at-bat. It was so good.

Votto went up to Evan and his family and said, “You stay here, and we will talk all game.” He also added, “If you have any advice, I’d really like it too.”

Votto also had several of his Reds teammates provide gifts and sign autographs for Evan.

That’s how it should be done. It’s the kind of moment you love to see.

Joey Votto had a great story about what he would have done with the baseball from his 2,000th hit

Rest in peace, Maris.

Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto reached a milestone on Monday that was 15 years in the making: his 2,000th hit.

Votto became the fifth Reds player to record his 2,000th hit, getting there with a seventh-inning single in Monday’s win over the Chicago Cubs.

In his postgame press conference, Votto remembered being asked earlier about what he was going to do with the baseball from his 2,000th hit. And that was when he brought up the story about the baseball from his first big-league hit, which no longer exists.

Votto gave that baseball to his dog at the time, Maris, who passed away last year.

Maris chewed that baseball up and apparently enjoyed every second of it. Good dog.

Votto said of his would-be plans for that 2,000th hit ball:

“If I’m honest with you, if he was still alive, I’d probably give him the 2,000th ball to chew up.”

OK, well, Votto quickly took that back once he realized that it probably wouldn’t have been too good for a senior dog to chew up a baseball. Votto was just being a good dog dad.

An excellent breakdown video showed what was said in Joey Votto’s fiery first-inning ejection

Have to blame the umpires for that one.

Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto was ejected in the first inning of Saturday’s game against the Padres after a dispute over a checked-swing, third-strike call turned into an extended argument with the umpires.

Odds are that you saw how Votto’s early exit disappointed a young Joey Votto fan at her first big-league game, and both the Reds and Votto worked to make it right for her.

But man, it’s tough to ignore just how fired up Votto got over a checked swing that sort of looked like the correct call. And now we have a better idea of what was said.

As they’ve done so well over the years, Jomboy Media showed off their lip-reading skills and posted a breakdown video from Saturday’s fiery scene. (Warning: A LOT of NSFW language)

It’s pretty clear that home plate umpire Ryan Additon needlessly sparked the entire altercation by taking issue with Votto’s harmless disagreement with third base umpire Chris Guccione. All Votto said was, “I didn’t go,” which clearly wasn’t inflammatory at all.

And then the crew went for more by ejecting David Bell after everything had already calmed down.

Just a weird scene all the way around, especially after seeing what Votto said at the start.
