Alabama MBB offers 2025 center Jamarion Davis-Fleming

Alabama basketball extended an offer to 2025 center Jamarion Davis-Fleming.

Alabama extended an offer to 2025 center Jamarion Davis-Fleming. The Crimson Tide target posted the offer to his Twitter account early Friday morning. He is the younger brother of former Alabama basketball player Javian Davis.

The Alabama coaching staff recruited Javian as a part of their 2018 class. Now, it appears that the Tide will be in the mix to land his brother, Jamarion.

Jamarion stands at 6-foot-8 and 195 pounds. He plays for Canton High School in Canton, Mississippi. He has received three offers so far: Ole Miss, Jackson State and Alabama.

Coach [autotag]Nate Oats[/autotag] and his staff have shown interest in just a few recruits in the 2025 recruiting cycle. One of the prospects that also received an offer on Thursday night is 2025 guard Jasper Johnson.

Oats wants to establish relationships early in the recruiting process with the basketball program trending upward as of late. We will certainly keep an eye on his recruitment and how the Crimson Tide intends to recruit him in the future.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow Davis-Fleming’s recruitment as well as other Alabama basketball recruiting news.

Alabama MBB F Javian Davis enters NCAA transfer portal

Alabama redshirt sophomore forward Javian Davis enters the NCAA transfer portal, potentially opening up two additional scholarship spots.

Alabama men’s basketball’s redshirt sophomore forward, Javian Davis, has entered the NCAA transfer portal, according to AL.com’s Matt Zenitz.

Davis appeared in 31 games in the 2019-2020 college basketball season, where he averaged six points per game, a field goal percentage of 59.4% and averaged almost four rebounds per game.

With the addition of recent top commit Alex Tchikou, Nate Oats doesn’t have any available scholarships to give out. However, if Davis does decide to transfer, and John Petty stays in the NBA Draft, there would be two potential scholarships to offer.

Davis is not the first player from the 2019 team to transfer before the start of the 2020 season. Former Alabama forward Galin Smith announce he will be transferring to Maryland to continue his basketball career, guard Jaylen Forbes transferred to Tulane, while center Raymond Hawkins will be playing at Long Beach State.

While it is sad to see players leave the Crimson Tide, it’s an amazing sight to see Nate Oats recruit elite talent to Tuscaloosa. Rivals.com has the 2020 Alabama basketball recruiting class listed as No. 9 in the nation.
