Alabama basketball fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Alabama forward Javian Davis’ injury turned out to not be as serious as originally thought. Davis was hurt in the second half of Alabama’s 77-62 win Wednesday night at Vanderbilt. Matt Zenitz reported today that the knee injury ended up being a bone cruise.
The MRI confirmed that Alabama forward Javian Davis’ knee injury is minor. Just a bone bruise.
Doubtful for tomorrow’s game against Kansas State but will likely be available for the LSU game Wednesday, per Nate Oats.

Davis, who has become a dominant freshman leader for the Crimson Tide is averaging 6.2 points per game as well as 4.3 rebounds per game. Davis is expected to be back in action on Wednesday as the Tide takes of the LSU Tigers.
Alabama takes on Kansas State in Tuscaloosa as part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge on Saturday at 5 PM CT.
Alabama has won nine of its past 12 games and rose to No. 38 in Thursday’s NET ranking.
