Four-star Georgia Bulldogs recruiting target Jarquez Smith has made a surprising commitment. Smith is a member of the class of 2021 and is a wide receiver. He’s now committed to the Indiana Hoosiers.
The in-state receiver plays his high school football at Westlake High School. He plays at the same high school as NFL products Cam Newton, Adam “Pacman” Jones and A.J. Terrell. Westlake is a notable talent hotbed in Atlanta, Georgia..
Smith is 6-foot-1 and weighs 190 pounds. He’s already received recruiting attention from Tennessee, Notre Dame, FSU and Ole Miss. He was expected to pick the University of Georgia, but instead he picked Indiana.
We’ll let you know what he decides. Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs have 12 commitments at the moment. UGA is looking for more wide receivers to commit as members of the class of 2021 beyond three-star Ole Miss flip Adonai Mitchell.
