Oklahoma vs. IUPUI in NCAA Tournament: Stream, injury report and broadcast

Jennie Baranczyk and the Oklahoma Sooners get ready to face Horizon League champion IUPUI in the first round of the Women’s NCAA Tournament.

No.4 seeded Oklahoma plays the 13th seeded IUPUI Jaguars on Saturday, and if you’re wondering how you can watch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.

Jennie Baranczyk had a great first season with the Sooners, culminating in a fourth-place finish in the Big 12. After falling to Baylor in the Big 12 tournament semifinals, the Sooners begin their pursuit of a national title in the NCAA Tournament.

The Sooners were awarded the No. 4 seed in the Bridgeport region, which allows them to host the first and second-round games before moving on to a neutral site for the Sweet 16 and Elite 8. IUPUI enters as the No. 13 seed after winning the Horizon League tournament.

Taylor Robertson and Madi Williams, two All-Big 12 performers will look to lead the Sooners into the next round and a date with the winner of the No. 5 Notre Dame and No. 12 UMASS matchup.

IUPUI is making its first appearance in the NCAA tournament. Their only other conference tournament win was in 2020 when the NCAA Tournament was canceled due to the beginning wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

They enter the tournament with a record of 24-4 and have a win against the Iowa Hawkeyes on the road. They are led by Macee Williams, who has won the Horizon League Player of the Year award four straight seasons. She is averaging 18.7 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. She has 13 double-doubles on the season and has scored at least 20 or more points eight times. IUPUI led the Horizon league in overall shooting percentage and 3-point field goal percentage.

Ohio State basketball blows out IUPUI

Not much to take away from this one, but OSU did what it needed against IUPUI. #GoBucks

The Ohio State basketball team did what it was supposed to do in disposing of the IUPUI Jaguars on Tuesday night 83-37.

The game was scheduled a little over a week ago in an effort to get the team another competitive environment after the program lost three nonconference games because of a COVID-19 pause. It wasn’t expected to be much of a contest, with IUPUI only having one win on the season to a Division III school, but the team faced having nearly a week off without another game this week.

Ohio State got scoring from several sources as you would expect Tuesday. E.J. Liddell more or less had his way in and around the lane, scoring 13 points on just 4-of-7 field goals, but this game was more about getting everyone involved. Eugene Brown had a career-high 14 points, reserve guard Cedric Russell tossed in 12, and 11 players in total got on the board.

There’s not much we can take from this one, but hopefully, it was used to get the team back in the same type of rhythm it had before it had to go on a 22-day hiatus.

Ohio State basketball vs. IUPUI: How to watch and listen to the game Tuesday

Ohio State will host 1-14 IUPUI in a late addition to the schedule. Here’s how to find the game.

After having several cancellations due to COVID, the Ohio State basketball team was able to get a late addition to the schedule. The Buckeyes have invited IUPUI from the Horizon League to Value City Arena for a non-conference matchup.

This was a quick turnaround as the game was just announced on January 10. The Jaguars are struggling this season with a 1-14 record to date, with the lone win coming against NCAA DIII opponent, Spaulding University.

This one could get ugly real fast, and we’ve got all the details you need to find the game.
