The Alabama Crimson Tide are in the mix to land one of the nation’s top interior offensive lineman in the 2026 recruiting class. On Monday, 2026 five-star interior offensive lineman Lamar Brown listed Alabama as one of 12 finalists to land his commitment. Several SEC schools that also made the cut were Ole Miss, Texas A&M Aggies, LSU Tigers, and Tennessee Volunteers.
Brown plays for University Lab School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is listed at 6-foot-3.5 and 255 pounds. Brown’s high school teammate and 2025 prospect Keylan Moses is committed to LSU. As things stand, LSU is the favorite to land Brown’s commitment at 98.3%, according to On3’s RPM.
The Crimson Tide will try and get Brown on campus for a game this fall. The expectation is that Brown will announce his commitment on November 1 — his birthday. Will Alabama make a move for the Louisiana native?
