Jaguars vs. Eagles: Inactive lists

Jacksonville and Philadelphia each made a pair of starters, one on offense and the other on defense, inactive for the Jaguars and Eagles’ Week 9 matchup on Sunday.

Not included on Jacksonville’s inactive list were running backs Travis Etienne Jr. and Tank Bigsby, wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. and right guard Brandon Scherff. Each player entered the weekend questionable but has been cleared to play against Philadelphia.

Find Jacksonville and Philadelphia’s inactive lists below.

Jaguars inactives

Eagles inactives

  • QB Tanner McKee
  • TE Dallas Goedert
  • OL Darian Kinnard

  • OL Javon Foster
  • OL Cole Van Lanen
  • DE Myles Cole
  • DT Maason Smith
  • DT Esezi Otomewo

Analysis: Jaguars starting running back Travis Etienne Jr. will miss his second consecutive game due to a hamstring injury suffered in Week 6 against the Chicago Bears. Etienne has rushed 56 times for 230 yards and two touchdowns and added 16 receptions for 91 yards in six games this season.

Packers inactives

  • OT Andre Dillard
  • OT Travis Glover
  • DL Brenton Cox Jr.
  • LB Quay Walker
  • CB Corey Ballentine
  • S Kitan Oladapo

Analysis: Green Bay will be without one defensive starter against Jacksonville, linebacker Quay Walker, who finished the week as a limited participant in practice due to a concussion. Walker has 52 total tackles including four for loss and 1.5 sacks this year.

Jaguars vs. Patriots: Inactive lists

Jaguars vs. Patriots: Inactive lists

The Jaguars officially made starting running back Travis Etienne Jr. inactive for Jacksonville’s Week 7 matchup with the New England Patriots at Wembley Stadium in London, as expected given the hamstring injury he suffered in Week 6.

Second-year Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby, who leads the team with 297 rushing yards and is averaging 7.2 yards per carry this season, is expected to start in place of Etienne.

Despite Jacksonville trading rotational defensive tackle Roy Robertson-Harris this week, the Jaguars made three defensive linemen inactive for the game, including rookie and second-round draft pick Maason Smith, marking the second healthy scratch of his young career.

Jaguars inactive list

  • OL Javon Foster
  • OL Cole Van Lanen
  • DE Myles Cole
  • DT Tyler Lacy
  • DT Jeremiah Ledbetter

Analysis: The biggest news from Jacksonville’s inactive list is that star tight end Evan Engram was not on the report, meaning he will return to play following a four-week absence due to a hamstring injury.

Jacksonville listed three players alongside Engram as questionable to play against Chicago on its final injury report: Wide receiver Gabe Davis, linebacker Yasir Abdullah and safety Daniel Thomas. Each player is active for Week 6.

Bears inactive list

  • WR Velus Jones Jr.
  • OL Nate Davis
  • DL Zacch Pickens
  • DL Dominique Robinson
  • DB Tyrique Stevenson
  • DB Jaquan Brisker
  • DB Terrel Smith

Analysis: Considered doubtful on Friday, star Bears cornerback Tyrique Stevenson is officially inactive, meaning Chicago will be down two starting defensive backs as safety Jaquan Brisker was ruled out earlier in the week.

Jaguars vs. Colts inactives: Richardson, Engram out of Week 5

Jaguars vs. Colts inactives: Richardson, Engram out of Week 5

Jacksonville and Indianapolis’ Week 5, AFC South matchup in Jacksonville will be without a lot of offensive star power.

The Jaguars and Colts officially ruled a combined six starters out in the hours before kickoff Sunday, including four key offensive contributors, tight end Evan Engram on Jacksonville’s side and quarterback Anthony Richardson, running back Jonathan Taylor and center Ryan Kelly on Indianapolis’.

Find Jacksonville and Indianapolis’ inactive lists for Week 5 below.

Jaguars inactive list

  • TE Evan Engram
  • OL Javon Foster
  • OL Cole Van Lanen
  • DE Myles Cole
  • DT Jordan Jefferson
  • LB Yasir Abdullah
  • S Daniel Thomas

Analysis: Jaguars starting tight end Evan Engram (hamstring) will miss his fourth consecutive game, despite his return to practice in a limited capacity this week. Brenton Strange will likely start in his place.

Jacksonville safety and special teams ace Daniel Thomas entered the weekend questionable with a hamstring injury and is inactive for Week 5.

Notably not on the Jaguars’ inactive list are starting linebacker Devin Lloyd (knee) and safety/nickel cornerback Darnell Savage Jr. (quadriceps), who Jacksonville head coach Doug Pederson on Friday said he expected to return from injury this week.

Savage, a March free-agent signee by Jacksonville, returns to the lineup following three games of absence. Lloyd missed Week 4 against Houston after appearing on the injury report that Thursday.

Colts inactive list

  • QB Anthony Richardson
  • RB Jonathan Taylor
  • WR Anthony Gould
  • OT Blake Freeland
  • C Ryan Kelly
  • DE Kwity Paye
  • CB Kenny Moore II

Analysis: Colts starting quarterback Anthony Richardson and center Ryan Kelly were officially deemed inactive Sunday morning, joining three fellow starters, running back Jonathan Taylor, defensive end Kwity Paye and nickel cornerback Kenny Moore, in being out of Sunday’s matchup.

Seventeenth-year NFL quarterback Joe Flacco will start in place of Richardson at quarterback for Indianapolis.

Playing for the injured Deshaun Watson with Cleveland last year, Flacco threw for 311 yards, three touchdowns and one interception against the Jaguars in a 31-27 Browns victory in Week 14.

Jaguars vs. Texans: Inactive lists

Jaguars vs. Texans: Inactive lists

Not including players currently on injured reserve, the Jaguars and Texans will be without a combined seven starters and would-be starters in Week 4.

Two were downgraded Sunday morning, with the Texans sidelining running back Joe Mixon and the Jaguars ruling linebacker Devin Lloyd out shortly before kickoff Sunday.

Jacksonville and Houston released their inactive lists around 11:30 a.m. ET. Find both reports below.

Jaguars inactive

  • TE Evan Engram
  • OL Javon Foster
  • OL Cole Van Lanen
  • DE Myles Cole
  • DT Jordan Jefferson
  • LB Devin Lloyd
  • S Darnell Savage Jr.

Analysis: The Jaguars surprisingly made Lloyd inactive after Jacksonville head coach Doug Pederson said the linebacker “should be fine” on Friday, noting Lloyd was placed on the injury report during the week with knee soreness.

Jacksonville will be without both of its starting linebackers, Lloyd and Foyesade Oluokun, against Hpuston as a result. Oluokun (foot) went on injured reserve Saturday. Ventrell Miller and Chad Muma are slated to take over in the middle of the Jaguars’ defense.

The Jaguars previously ruled starters, tight end Evan Engram (hamstring) and safety Darnell Savage Jr. (quadriceps), out on Friday and Saturday, respectively. Each player will miss their third consecutive game.

Texans inactives

  • RB Joe Mixon
  • RB Dameon Pierce
  • WR Tank Dell
  • OG Nick Broeker
  • LB Jamal Hill
  • S Jimmie Ward

Analysis: The Texans will be without their starting and backup running backs, Mixon and Dameon Pierce, as Mixon was ruled out earlier Sunday morning. Cam Akers is expected to fill the role.

Like Pierce, starting wide receiver Tank Dell and starting safety Jimmie Ward were deemed out of Week 4 on Friday.

Former Jacksonville and current starting Houston defensive tackle Folorunso Fatukasi is active after being deemed questionable for the contest with a shoulder injury.

Jaguars vs. Bills: Inactive lists

Jaguars vs. Bills: Inactive lists

The Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills have finalized their inactive lists ahead of Monday Night Football in Orchard Park, New York.

The Jaguars scratched seven players, including injured starters, tight end Evan Engram and safety Darnell Savage Jr., after elevating tight end Josiah Deguara and cornerback Christian Braswell from their practice squad on Monday.

The Bills made five players inactive, including, like the Jaguars, two injured starters: Linebacker Terrel Bernard and cornerback Taron Johnson.

Find Jacksonville and Buffalo’s Week 3 inactive lists below.

Jaguars inactive list

  • TE Evan Engram
  • OL Javon Foster
  • OL Cole Van Lanen
  • DE Myles Cole
  • DT Esezi Otomewo
  • DT Jordan Jefferson
  • S Darnell Savage Jr.

Analysis: As expected, Engram (hamstring) and Savage (quadriceps) will each miss their second consecutive game.

Notably, rookie defensive lineman and Jacksonville’s second-round pick in the NFL draft, Maason Smith, is active after being a healthy scratch in Week 2.

Seventh-round rookie defensive end Myles Cole is inactive after appearing in Weeks 1-2 and logging 25 total snaps. Fourth-round rookies, offensive tackle Javon Foster and defensive lineman Jordan Jefferson, are healthy scratches for the third game in a row.

Backup offensive tackle Cole Van Lanen and reserve defensive tackle Esezi Otomewo will not dress. Otomewo was active in Week 2 and recorded two assisted tackles.

Bills inactive list

  • OT Ryan Van Demark
  • LB Terrel Bernard
  • LB Edefuan Ulofoshio
  • CB Taron Johnson
  • S Mike Edwards

Analysis: Bernard (pectoral) and Johnson (forearm) were both ruled out by Bills head coach Sean McDermott on Wednesday.

Expected to start in place of Bernard and Johnson are Baylon Spector at linebacker and Cam Lewis at nickel corner.

Jaguars vs. Browns: Week 2 inactives

Jaguars vs. Browns: Week 2 inactives

Cleveland will be without four offensive starters against Jacksonville at “TrEverBank” Stadium in Week 2, including three key contributors listed on the Browns’ inactive list Sunday morning.

The Jaguars, meanwhile, will be without only one starter, although Jacksonville surprisingly won’t dress one of its top NFL draft picks from this past April.

Find Jacksonville’s and Cleveland’s inactive lists below.

Jacksonville Jaguars

  • S Darnell Savage Jr.
  • OL Javon Foster
  • OL Cole Van Lanen
  • DL Maason Smith
  • DL Jordan Jefferson
  • DL Tyler Lacy

Analysis: The Jaguars ruled safety Darnell Savage Jr. out of Week 2 with a quadriceps injury on Friday, their only starter who won’t play against the Browns.

Jacksonville’s second-round draft pick, defensive lineman Maason Smith, is a surprise inactive as he did not appear on the Jaguars’ injury report this week. Smith logged 29 snaps against Miami in Week 1.

Defensive tackle Tyler Lacy, who entered the weekend questionable with a toe injury, will not play. Linebacker Caleb Johnson (back), also considered questionable Friday, will be available.

Offensive lineman Cole Van Lanen and Jacksonville’s fourth-round draft picks, offensive tackle Javon Foster and defensive tackle Jordan Jefferson, are inactive for a second consecutive week.

Note: This analysis originally included defensive tackle Esezi Otomewo among Jacksonville’s inactive players. He is active for Sunday’s game. Jaguars Wire apologizes for this error.

Cleveland Browns

  • TE David Njoku
  • OT Jedrick Wills Jr.
  • OT Jack Conklin
  • QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson (third QB)
  • CB Kahlef Hailassie
  • OG Javion Cohen
  • WR Jamari Thrash

Analysis: After the Browns ruled starting left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. out against Jacksonville Friday, Cleveland’s offensive line was served another blow before kickoff Sunday as starting right tackle Jack Conklin also will not play.

The Browns also deemed tight end David Njoku out Wednesday, leaving Cleveland without a handful of key contributors against Jacksonville’s defense.

This pairs with star Cleveland running back Nick Chubb being on the physically unable-to-perform list and the Browns having seven players on its injured reserve.

Browns vs Packers: Game day inactive lists are out

A few key players will miss Browns vs Packers as the inactive lists are out:

The Cleveland Browns and Green Bay Packers will each be without a few key players for today’s game. While the Browns still have a long list of guys on their reserve/COVID-19 list, the Packers have more guys out due to health reasons for the game.

Cleveland gets Baker Mayfield and a number of other players back for the game but face a Green Bay team that is at the top of the league despite injuries and Aaron Rodgers missing time due to COVID-19. A win could be a huge boost to the Browns playoff hopes (and lead to some funny responses from fans) and a loss could continue a downward spiral for the team.

The two teams just released their official inactives list for the game:

Cleveland

  • S John Johnson III
  • QB Nick Mullens
  • QB Kyle Lauletta
  • LB Willie Harvey Jr.
  • WR Ja’Marcus Bradley

Many of the reinforcements from last week are inactive. As expected Myles Garrett is active despite groin injury concerns.

Green Bay

  • OT David Bakhtiari
  • OL Billy Turner
  • DL Kingsley Keke

No real surprises for the Packers.
