Commanders-Buccaneers inactives: Who’s in, who’s out for NFL wild-card game

Which players are in for the Commanders in Sunday’s NFC wild-card game? Who is out? The inactive list is here.

The Washington Commanders will play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in an NFC wild-card game Sunday night at Raymond James Stadium. Before kickoff, the Commanders released their inactive list containing some good news.

Wide receiver/punt returner Jamison Crowder is active and will play. Crowder was listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report with a hamstring injury. Crowder has been a key part of the offense in recent weeks since his return from injured reserve.

Also, other players, such as cornerback Marshon Lattimore, offensive tackles Andrew Wylie, Cornelius Lucas, Brandon Coleman, and center Tyler Biadasz, are all active and will play. Each of these players had been dealing with an injury.

Here are Washington’s inactives for Sunday night:

  • 13 WR K.J. Osborn
  • 16 QB Jeff Driskel (Emergency 3rd QB)
  • 22 S Darrick Forrest
  • 24 CB Michael Davis
  • 36 RB Chris Rodriguez Jr.
  • 45 LB Dominique Hampton
  • 75 G Chris Paul

The biggest surprise here may be Rodriguez. The second-year running back has excelled when given an opportunity recently, with injuries to Brian Robinson Jr. and Austin Ekeler. Ekeler is back healthy, so Washington’s running back rotation will consist of him, Robinson, and Jeremy McNichols.

Commanders-Cowboys inactives: Who’s in, who’s out for Week 18

Which players are in for the Commanders in Week 18? Who is out? The Week 18 inactive list is here.

The Washington Commanders (11-5) face the Dallas Cowboys (7-9) in the regular-season finale on Sunday from AT&T Stadium.

The Commanders clinched a playoff spot with last week’s win over the Atlanta Falcons but look to lock in the No. 6 seed with a win over the Cowboys. Unfortunately for Washington, some key players will miss today’s game against Dallas.

Cornerback Marshon Lattimore was ruled out Friday with a hamstring injury. Center Tyler Biadasz and offensive tackle Cornelius Lucas were listed as doubtful, and are also out. Michael Deiter will start at center for Washington. Andrew Wylie, who missed last week’s game, is back in the lineup at right tackle.

The biggest surprise is safety Quan Martin. Martin worked out with the team before the game but was ruled out with an illness, similar to Biadasz three weeks ago.

Here is Washington’s inactive list for Week 18:

  • QB Jeff Driskel
  • CB Marson Lattimore
  • C Tyler Biadasz
  • T Cornelius Lucas
  • LB Jordan Magee
  • WR K.J. Osborn
  • S Quan Martin

Trey Lance will start at quarterback for the Cowboys. Here are the inactive players for the Cowboys.

  • QB Will Grier (3rd QB)
  • LB Damone Clark
  • DE Earnest Brown
  • T Chuma Edoga
  • DE Tyrus Wheat
  • DT Justin Rogers
  • CB Kemon Hall

Saints announce inactive players for Week 16 vs. Green Bay Packers

The New Orleans Saints have shared a couple of surprises in their inactive players for their Week 16 matchup against the Green Bay Packers:

The New Orleans Saints are preparing for their Week 16 matchup against the Green Bay Packers, which will feature even more injuries than once expected.

The Packers will be without a couple of key defensive players, including a once questionable Jaire Alexander who is dealing with a knee injury that has been bugging him since October. He was once expected to return this week, but it looks like he will need more time.

For the Saints, the biggest question mark was Marquez Valdes-Scantling due to a chest/illness injury designation. The team will indeed be without the big-play threat out wide, further weakening the offense. And veteran defensive tackle Nathan Shepherd was a surprise inactive during an eye injury.

New Orleans Saints inactive players

  • QB Derek Carr
  • RB Alvin Kamara
  • WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling
  • DT Nathan Shepherd
  • DT Khristian Boyd

Green Bay Packers inactive players

  • S Javon Bullard
  • S Evan Williams
  • LB Quay Walker
  • CB Jaire Alexander
  • WR Malik Heath
  • OL Jacob Monk

Commanders-Eagles inactives: Who’s in, who’s out for Week 16

Which players are in for the Commanders in Week 16? Who is out? The Week 16 inactive list is here.

Today, the Washington Commanders (9-5) host the Philadelphia Eagles (12-2) in an NFC East showdown from Northwest Stadium. The Commanders received some good news ahead of kickoff, as tight end Zach Ertz and safety Jeremy Chinn are active and will play.

Ertz and Chinn suffered concussions in last week’s win over the Saints and were in the NFL’s concussion protocol. Ertz is Washington’s second-leading receiver and Chinn is the team’s second-leading tackler.

Last week, the Commanders had a surprise inactive on gameday. Starting center Tyler Biadasz was sick and ruled out just before kickoff. Biadasz is healthy and will play. Fortunately for Washington, there were no surprises this week.

As for the rest of the inactives, here’s the Commanders’ list for Week 16:

  • QB Jeff Driskel
  • DT Phidarian Mathis
  • G Chris Paul
  • WR K.J. Osborn
  • LB Dominique Hampton
  • CB Michael Davis

Osborn was claimed off waivers less than two weeks ago and has been inactive for his first two games for the Commanders.

Here are the Eagles’ inactives for Week 16:

  • WR Britain Covey
  • QB Tanner McKee
  • CB Eli Ricks
  • OL Nick Gates
  • OL Darian Kinnard

Commanders-Saints inactives: Who’s in, who’s out for Week 15

Which players are in for the Commanders in Week 15? Who is out? The Week 15 inactive list is here.

The Washington Commanders (8-5) continue their chase to the playoffs on Sunday with a trip to the Caesars Superdome to face the New Orleans Saints (5-8).

In some unexpected news, the Commanders will be without starting center Tyler Biadasz. Biadasz was added to the injury report on Sunday morning with an illness. Biadasz came onto the field for warmups before Washington ruled him out.

Veteran Michael Deiter will start at center. Biadasz has been an anchor for the Commaders’ vastly improved offensive line this season.

The Commanders placed wide receiver Noah Brown on injured reserve Saturday. He’s expected to miss the remainder of the season. The Commanders elevated kicker Greg Joseph from the practice squad, and he will kick for Washington, as Zane Gonzalez is inactive. Gonzalez was on the injury report with a left foot injury.

In better news for the Commanders: Defensive tackle Daron Payne is active and will play. Payne was added to Friday’s injury report with a back injury.

Here’s Washington’s full inactive list for Week 15 vs. New Orleans:

  • QB Jeff Driskel
  • DT Phidarian Mathis
  • K Zane Gonzalez
  • C Tyler Biadasz
  • WR K.J. Osborn
  • CB Michael Davis
  • LB Dominique Hampton

As expected, the Saints will be without quarterback Derek Carr. Last week, Carr suffered a concussion and fractured his left wrist. Jake Haener will start in his place, which will be his first NFL start.

Commanders-Titans inactives: Who’s in, who’s out for Week 13

Which players are in for the Commanders in Week 13? Who is out? The Week 13 inactive list is here.

The Washington Commanders host the Tennessee Titans (3-8) on Sunday from Northwest Stadium. We learned on Friday that Washington would be without running back Austin Ekeler and right tackle Andrew Wylie. Both suffered concussions in last week’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

On Saturday, Washington placed Ekeler on injured reserve, meaning he would miss at least the next four games.

The good news for the Commanders is that running back Brian Robinson Jr. is active and will play. Robinson suffered an ankle injury last week but did return, only to exit again.

Here is the full list of Washington’s Week 13 inactive list:

  • T Andrew Wylie
  • QB Jeff Drisekel (emergency QB)
  • G Chris Paul
  • DT Phidarian Mathis
  • LB Dominique Hampton

Here is the complete inactive list for the Titans.

Commanders-Cowboys inactives: Who’s in, who’s out for Week 12

Which players are in for the Commanders against the Cowboys? And who is out? Inactive list is here.

The Washington Commanders released their inactive list ahead of Sunday’s showdown against the Dallas Cowboys and there were no surprises.

All three of Washington’s top offensive tackles are healthy and active. Kicker Austin Seibert is also back after missing the previous two games. Cornerback Emmanuel Forbes is once again a healthy scratch.

Here is the complete inactive list:

  • CB Emmanuel Forbes
  • CB Marshon Lattimore
  • G Chris Paul
  • QB Jeff Driskel
  • LB Dominique Hampton

Lattimore remains inactive as he recovers from a hamstring. Head coach Dan Quinn said last week he was getting closer to making his Washington debut.

The Cowboys will be without numerous starters for this game. They placed quarterback Dak Prescott on season-ending injured reserve last week. Future Hall of Fame guard Zack Martin, cornerback Trevon Diggs, wide receiver Brandin Cooks, guard Tyler Smith and tight end Jake Ferguson are those out for Dallas. Cooks remains on IR, but was expected to be activated.

Here is Dallas’ complete inactive list:

  • G Zack Martin
  • G Tyler Smith
  • RB Deuce Vaughn
  • CB Trevon Diggs
  • CB Caelen Carson
  • DE Tyrus Wheat
  • TE Jake Ferguson

Commanders’ Week 9 inactives vs. Giants

The Commanders’ Week 9 inactive list is out. Bad news on Brian Robinson Jr.

The Washington Commanders released their inactive list before Sunday’s Week 9 showdown against the New York Giants. In some tough news, running back Brian Robinson Jr. is inactive and will not play against the Giants.

Robinson was listed as questionable on Friday’s final injury report with a hamstring injury. The third-year running back rushed for 133 yards against New York in September and has averaged 83 rushing yards per game in his career vs. the Giants.

Offensive tackle Cornelius Lucas is out with an injury. The Commanders ruled him out Friday. His co-starter at left tackle, rookie Brandon Coleman, is active and will start. Coleman missed last week’s game with a concussion.

Here’s Washington’s list of Week 9 inactives:

  • OT Cornelius Lucas
  • QB Jeff Driskel
  • RB Brian Robinson Jr.
  • S Darrick Forrest
  • TE Colson Yankoff
  • LB Dominique Hampton

Washington elevated Chris Rodriguez Jr. from the practice squad in anticipation of Robinson missing the game. So, the Commanders will have a running back rotation of Austin Ekeler, Jeremy McNichols and Rodriguez.

Saints injury update: Inactive players for Week 8 game vs. Chargers

Here are the Week 8 inactives for the New Orleans Saints’ matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers. A recently-signed wide receiver won’t play just yet:

Only two players were listed as out due to injury on the Friday injury report for the New Orleans Saints, and one player was doubtful. This ended up with three players out due to injury on gameday, and four healthy inactives for the game as well. There are some surprises on this list, but nothing exceptionally concerning overall, while the Los Angeles Chargers had a few players out due to injury this week on the other side.

The Saints held out a few rookies on the healthy inactive list which is one of the more intriguing developments, including Jaylan Ford, Dallin Holker, and Khristian Boyd. They will also hold out recent addition Marquez Valdes-Scantling, presumably to allow him more time to get into the system and get ready for gameday next weekend instead.

All of the injured inactives for the Saints entered the game with an injury designation of doubtful or worse, so those three were all expected more or less. The remaining players on the report will be available, which is a huge notion for a Saints team that has struggled immensely with injuries the past few weeks. Their “mini-bye” since “Thursday Night Football” helped get things cleared up no doubt.

Here is the full inactive lists for the Saints and Chargers this week:

New Orleans Saints inactive players:

  • QB Derek Carr (oblique)
  • WR Cedrick Wilson Jr. (hip)
  • G Nick Saldiveri (shoulder)
  • WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling
  • LB Jaylan Ford
  • TE Dallin Holker
  • DT Khristian Boyd

Los Angeles Chargers inactive players:

  • WR Quentin Johnston (ankle)
  • QB Easton Stick (emergency third quarterback)
  • WR Derius Davis (hamstring)
  • TE Hayden Hurst (groin)
  • OL Jordan McFadden
  • DL Justin Eboigbe

Commanders Week 7 inactive list vs. Panthers

Brian Robinson is in. Dorance Armstrong is out. Week 7 inactives.

The Washington Commanders (4-2) host the Carolina Panthers in Week 7 action from Northwest Stadium. The Commanders revealed their inactives for Sunday’s game, led by starting defensive end Dorance Armstrong.

  • DE Dorance Armstrong
  • QB Jeff Driskel
  • S Tyler Owens
  • G Chris Paul
  • LB Dominique Hampton

Armstrong suffered a rib injury during last week’s loss at Baltimore and was ruled out on Friday. Driskel will serve as Washington’s third quarterback. Owens continues to miss time with a shin injury.

As Adam Schefter reported on Saturday, starting running back Brian Robinson Jr. will play. Robinson has been dealing with a knee injury for three weeks and missed last week’s game. He leads the Commanders with 325 rushing yards and five touchdowns.

Carolina’s lengthy injury report for Friday listed six players out and three as doubtful. Wide receiver Diontae Johnson, one of those listed as questionable, will play.

Here are the Panthers’ inactives:

  • OLB Jadeveon Clowney
  • LB Josey Jewell
  • LB Jon Rhattigan
  • LB Claudin Cherelus
  • RT Taylor Moton
  • TE Tommy Tremble
  • DE A’Shawn Robinson
