WATCH: Texas releases hype video for TCU game

Hype video for Saturday’s matchup vs TCU!

After a thumping of Texas Tech, expectations are once again sky high in Austin. Now, all attention has been focused to Fort Worth for a matchup against TCU.

The Texas Football Twitter account has released a hype video, hoping the team can overcome a 2-7 record vs the Horned Frogs since they joined the conference in 2012.

Early on in the video, Texas’ social media team shows off the icy white jerseys the Longhorns will once again wear on the road. It has been a classic look for the university for quite some time now.

Steve Sarkisian is quoted in the video saying “one game doesn’t win you a Big 12 conference championship.” Seeing the “all gas, no brakes” mentality morphed into a video should hype up Longhorn fans across the country.

A win against TCU would do the first-year head coach well, but more work will be in front of Texas. You can watch the full hype video here:

TCU has been the bogey team in Austin over the past few years, with Sarkisian looking to break the duck. A win would bring momentum heading into the Red River Shootout against Oklahoma next week.

Getting the offense going, on the road, will make or break the Texas team.

Last year’s Lions hype video shows how much has changed in Detroit

Every player featured on the Lions’ own hype video from a year ago is no longer in Detroit

There is a lot of excitement in Detroit about the new Lions. Fans and media are pumped over the new attitude under enthusiastic head coach Dan Campbell, thoughtful GM Brad Holmes and an overhauled roster looking to rise from the ashes of last place in the NFC North.

But a lot of very talented and well-liked Lions players are no longer in Detroit. And a video from the recent past provides a reminder of all the departures and just how much talent the Lions let go since this time a year ago.

An intrepid user at the Lions subreddit (r/detroitlions) unearthed the Lions’ official hype video from before the 2020 season via Instagram. And it’s a stark blast of all the talent the team had and is now elsewhere.

Every player featured on the video from the Lions is now gone. From Matthew Stafford to Kenny Golladay, Justin Coleman to Kerryon Johnson, they’re all playing elsewhere now.

Of course, all those talented players couldn’t ever win much together in Detroit…which is why the team has been overhauled with new players and a new kneecap-biting attitude.

WATCH: Steve Sarkisian releases hype video for Orange and White game

Team Orange will play against Team White in Saturday’s spring game. Steve Sarkisian posted a hype video to his Twitter to prepare UT fans.

After a long spring, one that included a pause due to COVID-19, the annual spring game is set to kick off on Saturday. Team Orange and Team White will be squaring off in a different format under Steve Sarkisian.

The former Alabama offensive coordinator is taking a page out of Nick Saban’s book to organize his spring game teams. The first-team offense is on Team Orange along with the second-team defense, while the second-team offense and first-team defense are on Team White. This allows the ones and twos to match up against each other.

You can check out the rosters here. Casey Thompson will suit up for Team Orange, while Hudson Card will be on Team White – something to monitor throughout the game.

Sarkisian posted a hype video on Friday to prepare Texas fans for the spring game. To nobody’s surprise, the end of the video features Bijan Robinson in open space.

You can watch it below:

The game will kick off at 1 p.m. CT. There will be plenty of storylines to emerge with most focusing on the play of the two quarterbacks. A few players will need to perform well to move up the depth chart, as there are a few starting jobs available.

WATCH IT – Notre Dame’s Senior Day hype video

Need a booster to get hyped for Notre Dame’s game against Syracuse? Try this one on for size…

In terms of big-ness, Saturday will be just about the polar opposite of the last game played at Notre Dame Stadium, the 47-40 Irish winner in double-overtime over No. 1 Clemson.

This week it’s Syracuse that comes to town for the first time in a dozen years as they’d like nothing more than to ruin Notre Dame’s perfect season on Senior Day.

On paper, it doesn’t figure to be much of a game, but when you get to this point of the season with resumes getting examined, critiqued, and questioned in every single way, Notre Dame can’t afford to be sleep-walking on Saturday.

One last time at Notre Dame Stadium in 2020 before a post-season run that hopefully ends in a national championship.

Let’s go!

WATCH NOW: Notre Dame releases epic hype video ahead of Clemson game

It’s game day. Get up and start getting excited by watching the epic video Notre Dame produced ahead of the Irish taking on No. 1 Clemson.

It’s been 15 years since Notre Dame played a top ranked team at Notre Dame Stadium, losing a heart-breaker to Reggie Bush and USC.

It’s been 27 years since Notre Dame knocked off No. 1 when they did so in the “Game of the Century” win over Florida State in 1993.

And it’s been 32 years since Notre Dame both knocked off No. 1 Miami and went on to win a national championship as they did in the fall of 1988.

It’s been a long time and now we’re counting only hours instead of days and weeks until the latest shot at No. 1 comes.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET tonight on NBC but until then, enjoy the hype video the University of Notre Dame released on Friday night.

Pardon me while I go run through a wall now.

Go Irish.

Beat Tigers.
