Who are the most logical targets the Buckeyes should go after? #GoBucks

[autotag]Ohio State football[/autotag] must once again reset its recruiting board after missing out on 2024 5-star safety [autotag]KJ Bolden[/autotag], who surprised many and chose Florida State over the field.

Not many people expected Bolden to select the Seminoles, in fact, the majority of insiders believed that his top choices were Georgia and Auburn. Regardless of where the 6-foot, 1-inch, 185-pound safety is going, he still didn’t pick the Buckeyes.

Bolden was one of the biggest remaining targets on Ohio State’s board, especially considering that he is ranked as the No. 1 safety and 7th overall player according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Find out below which targets the Buckeyes will recruit harder now that the Georgian has made his verbal commitment.

LSU re-offers 4-star Texas commit

The Tigers are going after Longhorns pledge Hunter Moddon, who plays both receiver and corner.

[autotag]Hunter Moddon[/autotag] is a 6-foot, 170-pound, four-star athlete from Houston where he plays for Clear Lake High School. The Clear Lake Falcons finished the 2022 season 5-5 and failed to miss the playoffs. Moddon doesn’t have any Crystal Ball projections at this time, but he is currently committed to coach Steve Sarkesian and the Texas Longhorns.

Film Analysis: Moddon is an exceptional route runner with great speed on both sides of the ball. On defense, he is a lockdown corner that excels in man coverage as well as zone coverage. He would be a nice addition to either the receiver room or the defensive back room.

2024 four-star WR Hunter Moddon commits to Texas

Moddon is one of the top wide receivers in the 2024 class.

Texas adds a major piece to its 2024 recruiting class with the commitment of four-star wide receiver Hunter Moddon.

The Houston product is an ideal fit for Steve Sarkisian’s offensive scheme. Moddon brings dynamic speed to the football field as both a wide receiver and kick returner. He was a state qualifier on the track as a sophomore in the spring.

247Sports ranks Moddon as the No. 13 player in the state of Texas and a top 150 national prospect in the 2024 cycle. He has picked up 15 offers, including Baylor, Georgia, LSU and Texas. Wide receiver coach Brennan Marion is certainly happy to have a talent like Moddon in the fold this early.

Texas’ 2024 class is off to a good start. Moddon is the third four-star to commit to the Longhorns. Steve Sarkisian and his staff continue to keep their foot on the gas on the recruiting trail.
