How to watch Day 3 of the 2020 NFL Draft, and what Saints fans can watch instead

The New Orleans Saints traded all of their picks in the final four rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft, but there’s still plenty for Saints fans.

The final four rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft are set to begin on Saturday, and New Orleans Saints fans could be forgiven if they choose to just loop Adam Trautman’s college highlights for the next seven hours. The team shocked the world late Friday night by trading each of their four remaining draft picks to get back into the third round, allowing them to select the Dayton tight end with 178 catches on his resume.

But we shouldn’t count the Saints out just yet. They’ve traded future year draft picks to acquire new players before, and that might come into play on Saturday. And with so many players with ties to New Orleans, Louisiana, and the greater Gulf South, there’s a good chance Saints fans will have a rooting interest in a few prospects on the cusp of going pro.

Here’s how you can tune in for the third and final day of this year’s NFL draft:

  • Time: Saturday, April 25 at 11 a.m. CT
  • TV: ABC, ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN Deportes, NFL Network
  • Radio: ESPN Radio, Sirius XM NFL Radio, Westwood One
  • Streaming: fuboTV (try it for free), NFL.com, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Yahoo! Sports, Twitch Prime

Of course, Saints fans can also check out the highlight reels for Trautman and the team’s other third-round draft pick, Wisconsin linebacker Zack Baun, where we’ve linked them below. Whichever option you choose, it’s sure to be entertaining.

Watch: Saints draft pick Adam Trautman puts on a show in his college highlight reel

Dayton tight end prospect Adam Trautman was picked by the New Orleans Saints in a trade in the 2020 NFL Draft, and his highlights explain it

[jwplayer KrcAJiDO-ThvAeFxT]

Here’s a stunner: the New Orleans Saints boldly traded back into the third round, exchanging all of their remaining picks in the 2020 draft for No. 105. And they made that move with a singular target in mind, picking small-school tight end Adam Trautman out of Dayton.

And Trautman’s highlight reel makes it easy to see why the Saints valued him so highly. He’s a natural hands-catcher who doesn’t need to shield the football with his body when it’s thrown to him. He can catch it at the high point of the arc while running in stride, sometimes with just one hand. See him in action for yourself:

Jacob Phillips: Highlights and stats from the new Browns LB

Jacob Phillips: Highlights and stats from the new Browns LB and LSU standout

[jwplayer m6qQJjk3-ThvAeFxT]

With the 97th selection in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns have selected Jacob Phillips, inside linebacker from LSU. Every Cleveland fan was pretty confident that a linebacker was going to be added on Day 2 and they pulled a bit of a surprise selecting a more unknown backer in Phillips.

Strengths: Phillips started all 15 games for the national champion LSU Tigers at inside linebacker. Despite Patrick Queen receiving more recognition, Phillips actually led the team with 113 tackles. He plays like his size at 6-4 and 233 pounds with an aggressive and physical attitude that thrives when moving downhill.

Weaknesses: Phillips has a ton of experience with two years of starting under his belt. He received a large amount of draft hype heading into 2019, but he just didn’t get notably better. He gets lost a bit too often and doesn’t show good enough read-and-reaction skills to play immediately at the next level.

The music in the below highlight tape may not be suitable for all ages.

Watch: Saints draft pick Zack Baun’s Wisconsin highlight reel

The New Orleans Saints selected Wisconsin prospect Zack Braun in the 2020 NFL Draft, and he has put together quite the highlight reel.

[jwplayer zX6MuLgu-ThvAeFxT]

It’s one thing to look at a box score and learn that Zack Baun, the Wisconsin linebacker drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the third round of this year’s NFL draft, racked up 12.5 sacks in his senior year. Seeing that he amassed 19.5 total tackles for loss is impressive, but seeing it is a different experience.

So we’ve embedded a few of Baun’s highlight reels in the videos below, so Saints fans can get to know the newest member of the black and gold a little better. Baun was dominant in his senior year for the Badgers, and you can get a great idea of the ways he wins in these cut-ups:

WATCH: Cowboys selected a ‘dancing bear’, ‘big cat’ in DT Neville Gallimore

The Dallas Cowboys rounded out their Day 2 of the 2020 NFL Draft by taking an athletic defensive lineman.

The Dallas Cowboys rounded out their Day 2 activity of the 2020 NFL Draft with another defensive steal.  It’s been a very good draft weekend thus far when it comes to maximizing value. On the heels of selecting WR CeeDee Lamb with the No. 17 pick on Thursday and CB Trevon Diggs with the No. 51 pick earlier in the evening, the defensive line got their newest addition at pick No. 82.

Returning back to Norman, the Cowboys selected defensive tackle Nevin Gallimore. The 6-foot-2, 302 pound lineman is a quick-twitch nose tackle; a one-technique who is routinely the fastest lineman off the snap. While he doesn’t always get to the quarterback, he does that plenty enough and will still compromise the OL’s integrity when he doesn’t.

That’s a big deal for a team which routinely saw their defensive ends double teamed in 2019. Gallimore adds to the Cowboys’ new commitment to the defensive interior under new coordinator Mike Nolan and vaunted defensive line guru Jim Tomsula. He’ll work magic with a player with the athletic skillset Gallimore possesses.

WATCH: Highlights of Bengals’ Tee Higgins in college

Cincinnati Bengals WR Tee Higgins had quite the highlight reel.

[jwplayer 4wQo5mCQ-ThvAeFxT]

New Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins models his game after A.J. Green.

Big claim — but Higgins has the production and highlights to back it up. Cincinnati’s second-round pick joins the fray with Green, John Ross and Tyler Boyd as a big weapon for Joe Burrow.

Before the dynamic offense gets on the field in 2020, now would be a good time to step back and look at some of the downright silly highlights Higgins put up with relative regularity while scoring 25 times over his final two seasons at Clemson.

From film breakdowns to full-game highlights, Higgins manages to match Burrow in terms of a must-see list of items after joining the Bengals.
