Halftime analysis of Chiefs’ preseason finale vs. Browns

Check out our first-half analysis of the #Chiefs’ preseason finale against the #Browns.

The Kansas City Chiefs struggled in the first quarter of their final preseason matchup against the Cleveland Browns on Saturday. Despite the early lead they found after linebacker Leo Chenal recovered a fumble on the game’s opening drive, the utter collapse of Kansas City’s offense later in the quarter kept the Chiefs on their heels through the rest of the half.

Shane Buechele threw two interceptions, Blaine Gabbert threw another, and Kansas City’s offense just couldn’t recover from their turnovers as they fought back in the second quarter,

This was the ugliest half of the Chiefs’ preseason, and luckily for the team and its fans, it won’t count toward their end-of-season results.

Halftime analysis of Ravens’ Wild Card matchup against the Bengals

The Ravens fought hard against the Bengals in the first half of the AFC North Wild Card matchup

The Baltimore Ravens are fighting for their season heading into halftime in their Wild Card matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. Though inconsistent early in the game, the Ravens’ offense found traction in the second quarter and coupled with the excellent play of their defense, Baltimore was able to jump out to a lead just before the halftime whistle.

A halftime points advantage by the score of 10-9 has the Ravens in a favorable position now, but against the Bengals, their lead may not be as secure as it seems. The Ravens will need to continue to adjust to Cincinnati’s game plan to pull off an improbable win on the road against their divisional rival.

Halftime analysis of Ravens’ Week 18 matchup vs. Bengals

The Baltimore Ravens will enter the second half of their Week 18 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals down by 17 points

The Baltimore Ravens have been absolutely manhandled by the Cincinnati Bengals through two quarters in their Week 18 matchup. Cincinnati has played with a palpable defensive edge in this game and has forced three key turnovers that have helped them get out to a 24-7 halftime lead.

Ravens starting quarterback Anthony Brown Jr. has had a hard time finding a rhythm to this point, and has looked totally outmatched by the Bengals’ secondary. Meanwhile, the Bengals’ offense has been able to move the ball on the Baltimore defense a bit, but the Ravens’ defensive unit has also stopped their opponent on a few occasions.

Halftime analysis of Bears’ Week 15 matchup vs. Eagles

Here are our thoughts on the Bears’ first-half performance against the Eagles in Week 15.

The Chicago Bears are searching for their fourth win of the 2022 season against the 12-1 Philadelphia Eagles in their highly anticipated Week 15 matchup against the NFC’s top team by record. Through two quarters, Chicago has managed to keep this game close and is down by just four points heading into the second half.

Their offense is still trying to find a way to get into gear with Justin Fields under center, and despite some efficient play in the running game, the unit only managed to put up six points at the halftime whistle. Against such a capable opponent, they will likely need to figure out how to double that scoring output if the Bears intend to emerge as the victors in this NFC showdown.

Halftime analysis of Texans Week 7 matchup vs. Raiders

Here are our thoughts on the #Texans’ first-half performance against the #Raiders in Week 7

The Houston Texans are in a fierce competition against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7 and have held their own against the AFC’s worst team by record so far. A win this week would get Houston a game closer to the .500 mark and could open the door to a more competitive season as their 2022 schedule wears on.

This game hasn’t been the most exciting matchup of the day so far, but for Texans fans, the team’s gritty play is sure to be a breath of fresh air after their disappointing 1-3-1 start to the season.

After getting off to a hot start on their opening offensive drive, the Cleveland Browns were in control of their Week 2 matchup against the New York Jets until a lightning-fast sequence saw the teams tie just before halftime. On the strength of Nick Chubb’s hard running and an impressive touchdown pass from Jacoby Brissett to Amari Cooper, the Browns still have plenty of life heading into the second half.

The team has a good chance to escape this game with their undefeated record intact, all they need to do now is regain a lead and build momentum before the game gets too far out of hand.
