Three-star class of 2024 offensive lineman Ronan O’Connell has Wisconsin in his final three schools.

Three-star class of 2024 offensive lineman Ronan O’Connell has Wisconsin in his final three schools. The 6-foot-4, 280-pound athlete from Franklin, Tennessee has narrowed his list to Tennessee, Clemson and Wisconsin.

The Badgers continue to churn out great offensive linemen year in and year out, so if O’Connell decided to head to Madison, he’d be making a strong decision for his professional chances. Two 2022 Badger offensive lineman are now on NFL teams with Joe Tippmann (2nd round, NYJ) and Tyler Beach (UDFA, HOU) making the step up.

At this point, Wisconsin has already earned the commitment of three-star offensive tackle Derek Jensen (Hartland, WI) as well as quarterback Mabrey Mettauer and tight ends Grant Stec and Rob Booker on the offensive side.

The Badgers offered Brock Schott, a 6-foot-3, 205 pound tight end from Leo, Indiana on Friday. Schott still has two more years of football at Leo High School before he’d join a college program as a member of the class of 2025.

Although he doesn’t carry a star rating, the tight end has now received three Division 1 offers, with Wisconsin coming in as the first Power Five school to offer him. With four-star tight end Grant Stec (Algonquin, Illinois) and three-star tight end Robert Booker (Waunakee, Wisconsin) already joining the team in 2023, the Badgers have done well recruiting the position under Luke Fickell.

Due to the fact that he’s a member of the class of 2025, there will likely be plenty more interested programs by the time Schott makes a college decision.
