UGA football in top group for 5-star RB Richard Young

The Georgia Bulldogs have cracked Richard Young’s list of top schools. Young is the top-ranked running back recruit in the class of 2023.

Young plays for Lehigh Senior High School in Lehigh Acres, Florida. He is a five-star prospect with good size. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound running back is the No. 17 prospect in the class of 2023.

Young excels in the classroom in addition to being a standout for Lehigh Senior. He has to love the tradition of running backs at Georgia.

The elite running back has visited Florida, Clemson, Ohio State, FSU and Alabama this summer. He has scholarship offers from most of the top college football programs in the country.

Twitter buzzing as elite recruits plan visits to Georgia

The Georgia Bulldogs and Kirby Smart are in for a huge month of June. Georgia has the nation’s top-ranked class of 2022 and 2023.

Recruit visits are back in college football on June 1. A number of top prospects are visiting the University of Georgia. Many prospects have a busy schedule of summer visits ahead of them.

Official and unofficial visits are big days for recruits. Many prospects have not seen the campuses of some of their top schools. Schools have not been able to host recruits since March 2020. Georgia has upgraded its facility this offseason and should be an impressive destination for the nation’s best recruits.

The Georgia Bulldogs and Kirby Smart are in for a huge month of June. Georgia has the nation’s top-ranked class of 2022 and 2023.

Bear Alexander, a Georgia commitment, is one of the best defensive lineman in the class of 2022. He recently committed to the Dawgs and will visit from Texas.

One of the top recruits in the country, Walter Nolen, plans to visit Athens, Georgia, in the fall. Kirby Smart and the Dawgs would love to add another top defensive line prospect in the class of 2022.

Georgia football commit Tyre West will visit Athens on June 1.

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to yet another Central High School football star, Karmello English.

The Georgia Bulldogs offered a scholarship to yet another Central High School football star, Karmello English. Central High School is located in Phenix City, Alabama, which is just across the border from Georgia.

English is a member of the class of 2023 and is ranked as a four-star wide receiver prospect. The 6-foot wide receiver prospect weighs 185 pounds and goes up against some stout competition in practice.

Central High School finished the 2020 season with a 7-5 record, but is ranked as the No. 11 high school team in the state of Alabama.

The Central High School star is rated the No. 17 wide receiver prospect in the sophomore class. Penn State, Alabama, Mississippi State, Florida State, Auburn, Ole Miss and several more top college football programs have offered English a scholarship.

The four-star has already received an invitation to the 2023 Under Armour All-America Game. In addition to football, English plays basketball. English has an impressive vertical jump and is capable of high pointing the football.

The Georgia Bulldogs football program has offered a scholarship to talented defensive end Jalen Thompson.

The Georgia Bulldogs football program has offered a scholarship to talented defensive end Jalen Thompson.

Thompson is 6 feet, 4 inches and weighs 240 pounds. He plays high school football for Cass Technical in Detroit, Michigan. Thus far, Thompson has received scholarship offers from Pittsburgh, Michigan, Notre Dame, Michigan State, Kentucky and others.

The Cass Technical star athlete is a member of the class of 2023. Thompson is wrapping up his sophomore year. Thompson is unranked as a recruit.

What makes Thompson a special defensive end prospect? He reads the offense well in the run game and can easily disengage from blocks. Thompson shows versatility and lines up at both defensive end and defensive tackle in high school.

Last season, Thompson put up impressive statistics. He recorded 8.0 sacks, 15 tackles and two forced fumbles. The unrated recruit would project as a 4-3 defensive end or a 3-4 defensive end at the next level.

Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs have three commitments in the class of 2023 at the moment. Georgia already has one 2023 defensive line commitment in Seven Cloud.
