Photos: Tiger Woods at the PGA Tour’s 2024 Genesis Invitational

The Big Cat is back and in new apparel.

The Big Cat is back.

Tiger Woods, for the first time since the Masters last April, will play in an official PGA Tour event. Yes, he played a few times in December at the Hero World Challenge and PNC Championship, but this time, it’s the real deal.

The Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California, is the PGA Tour’s third signature event of the year, and thanks to its elevated status, the field is loaded. Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, Max Homa, Viktor Hovland, Jordan Spieth and dozens of other stars will tee it up come Thursday morning.

In 14 starts at Riviera, Woods is winless. His best finish came in 1999 when he was the runner-up. At last year’s Genesis, Woods made the cut and eventually tied for 45th.

On Monday, Woods announced his new life-style apparel brand in collaboration with TaylorMade, “Sun Day Red.”

This week will be the first time he wears the clothes in competition.

Notre Dame in the Super Bowl: Joe Montana’s All-Time Super Sunday’s (Gallery Included)

You can’t tell the story of the Super Bowl without quickly speaking about Joe Montana

You can’t tell the history of the Super Bowl without quickly bringing up the name Joe Montana.

Montana helped guide the San Francisco 49ers to four Super Bowl titles, winning three Super Bowl MVPs along the way.

In total, he threw for 11 career Super Bowl touchdowns and 1,142 yards on Super Bowl Sunday, all while not throwing a single interception in a Super Bowl game.

His “Is that John Candy?” heroics in Super Bowl XXIII helped the 49ers to a comeback victory over the Bengals as he led San Francisco on a last minute drive to win the game.

Costumes, beers and vibes: Scenes from TPC Scottsdale’s 16th-hole stadium at 2024 WM Phoenix Open

It’s party time in the desert.

One of the most fun weeks on the PGA Tour schedule is here as a loaded field has made its way to Arizona for the WM Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale.

Back-to-back defending champion and world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler hopes to make it a turkey, but plenty of star power is looking to rain on his parade. The Texan will be joined by Justin Thomas, Max Homa, Jordan Spieth, Sam Burns, Matt Fitzpatrick and last week’s winner Wyndham Clark.

The People’s Open is a bucket-list event. If you’re a golfer, or just a fan of the sport, a trip to TPC Scottsdale to sit in the colosseum surrounding the par-3 16th is an absolute must.

Here are some of the best photos from the chaotic atmosphere of the WM Phoenix Open.

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am 2024 merch: Retro T’s, lone cypress logo in hot demand

Check out the best merch here.

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. — Pebble Beach Golf Links’s lone cypress logo is one of the best in the business.

The resort and the shops near the practice putting green are well aware that the logo is in hot demand and you have an endless array of options of logoed gear from just about any apparel maker you can think of. This is a well-stocked space and there’s also a pop-up AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am shop to go with a merchandise shop near the 17th hole.

The Lone Cypress Shop has just about everything, including the robe available in guest rooms at The Lodge and Pebble Beach spa products. I was digging some of the retro T-shirts, Vineyard Vines belts, the stuffed animal seal for my daughter and an old-school tournament pennant, which I haven’t seen for a long time.

Here’s a look at some of the merchandise on display this week at The Lone Cypress Shop and pop-up tournament shop at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

LOOK: The best photos from Day 3 of the Senior Bowl

We look at some of the best photos from day three of Senior Bowl practice.

Day three of Senior Bowl practice is over, and several 2024 NFL draft prospects can now look forward to Saturday’s game.

It was a good week in Mobile for offensive linemen. Multiple offensive linemen either cemented their status in the first round or entered the first-round conversation. This is a much-needed deep class with a shortage of quality offensive tackles in the NFL.

As for the quarterbacks, Oregon’s Bo Nix didn’t have the best week, while Spencer Rattler of South Carolina made his case to be selected sometime on day two of the NFL draft.

Happy Birthday to Notre Dame Legend, Manti Te’o!

Happy (belated) Birthday to a true Notre Dame legend!

In the long history of Notre Dame football few players have been as popular as linebacker Manti Te’o.

Te’o was one of the highest rated recruits to ever end up at Notre Dame, shocking the world and picking the Irish over USC on national signing day in 2009.

He found the field quickly at Notre Dame and before he left he’d become a legend in Fighting Irish lore.

Te’o is most remembered for his incredible 2012 season as a senior when he helped guide Notre Dame to a 12-0 regular season record and wound up second in the Heisman Trophy voting that year.

He ended his Notre Dame career with 437 tackles, 34 tackles for loss, and seven interceptions.  Te’o went on to play in the NFL for the Chargers, Saints, and Bears from 2013-2020.

Te’o turns 33-years old today (January 26) so big-time birthday greetings go his way.

Celebrate Manti, one of truly the greatest players to ever wear blue and gold, by checking out our photo gallery of the legend below.
