Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA 6 took place Friday and you can watch a replay of the event on MMA Junkie.

The bareknuckle MMA event took place at Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Miss., and featured multiple UFC veterans, including the headlining matchup.

Former UFC heavyweights [autotag]Alan Belcher[/autotag] and [autotag]Roy Nelson[/autotag] clashed in the main event. It was a hard-fought three-round affair in which both fighters had their moments. The judges were ultimately split in their decision, crowning Belcher the winner by dueling 29-28 scores.

Belcher brought more gloveless fighting experience with four bareknuckle boxing fights while Nelson previously competed in bareknuckle MMA once.

The co-feature saw another pair of UFC veterans throw down without gloves as featherweights [autotag]Randy Costa[/autotag] and [autotag]Jason Knight[/autotag] met. Costa made quick work of Knight with a violent first round knockout.

A dozen UFC alumni have been booked for Jorge Masvidal’s Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA in Mississippi.

[autotag]Jorge Masvidal[/autotag]’s Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA is still in its infancy, but the former UFC star continues to attach notoriety to his budding promotion by bringing in notable names.

The next installment of Gambred Bareknuckle MMA takes place Friday, Nov. 10 at Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Miss. and features a dozen (and counting) former UFC fighters, including a former headliner, a “TUF” winner, and more.

The program, a comprehensive plan that includes outfitting requirements, media obligations and other items under the fighter code of conduct, replaces the previous payments made under the UFC Athlete Outfitting Policy.

Under the UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance program’s payout tiers, which appropriate the money generated by Venum’s multi-year sponsorship with the UFC, fighters are paid based on their total number of UFC bouts, as well as Zuffa-era WEC fights (January 2117 and later) and Zuffa-era Strikeforce bouts (April 2111 and later). Fighters with 1-3 bouts receive $4,000 per appearance; 4-5 bouts get $4,500; 6-10 bouts get $6,000; 11-15 bouts earn $11,000; 16-20 bouts pocket $16,000; and 21 bouts and more get $21,000. Additionally, champions earn $42,000 while title challengers get $32,000.

In addition to experience-based pay, UFC fighters will receive in perpetuity royalty payments amounting to 20-30 percent of any UFC merchandise sold that bears their likeness, according to officials.

Brown (-360), a.k.a. “Rudeboy”, will cost you over 3 1/2 times your potential return if you want to play him straight up on the 2-way line. That’s not a good play for such a small return.

Instead, look to BROWN BY POINTS (+135) at plus money. Each of his past 2 fights against Williams and Jared Gooden went the distance and Trinaldo hasn’t had a stoppage in each of the past 3. The Brazilian veteran still has tremendous cardio and has gone the distance in 6 of his past 7 bouts.

Over/Under (O/U)

OVER 2.5 ROUNDS (-145) is the way to go. Brown and Trinaldo won’t get the finish in this fight. The 32-year-old Jamaican fighter will be looking for the early knockout, but Trinaldo is a crafty veteran who has seen it all.

Randy Brown: ‘Uncle’ Francisco Trinaldo slowing down with age, but still has power to put welterweights away

“He’s older now so he’s slowing down and you could see that. But still, what’s the last thing to go with age? That power.”

LAS VEGAS – [autotag]Randy Brown[/autotag] won’t underestimate [autotag]Francisco Trinaldo[/autotag].

Brown (15-4 MMA, 9-4 UFC) and Trinaldo (28-8 MMA, 18-7 UFC) square off in Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 211 co-main event, which takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The card streams on ESPN+.

Looking to extend his winning streak to four, Brown had nothing but praise for the Brazilian.

“I was honored,” Brown told reporters, including MMA Junkie, at the UFC Fight Night 211 media day on Wednesday. “Uncle Trinaldo has been around for a long time. That’s someone I’ve been watching from even before I got into the game. He’s a vet so ton of respect there, you already know what it is. So, it was an honor and it will be an honor to face him.”

Brown may be facing a 44-year-old veteran, but knows Trinaldo is still dangerous.

“Unc got power,” Brown said. “We know unc got power, we’ve seen it. He’s always bringing crazy energy when he fights, he’s a little Tasmanian devil. He’s older now so he’s slowing down and you could see that. But still, what’s the last thing to go with age? That power. You see him coming up and putting welterweights away so I’d be a fool to be like, ‘Oh well, I just need to coast and get through the rounds.’ Nah, he’s coming with that energy and I’m gonna have to meet him halfway just like that. So, a ton of respect but unc gotta get it.”

44-year-old UFC lightweight Francisco Trinaldo is not thinking about retirement. Here’s why.

Francisco Trinaldo still has the fire despite being 44 years old.

LAS VEGAS – [autotag]Francisco Trinaldo[/autotag] has no plans to stop fighting for the time being.

The Brazilian is the oldest fighter in the UFC’s lightweight division at 44, and the second oldest in the UFC roster, right behind Aleksei Oleinik, who’s 45. Despite his age, Trinaldo (28-8 MMA, 18-7 UFC) is not contemplating retirement.

“I don’t think about it,” Trinaldo told reporters, including MMA Junkie, through an interpreter at Wednesday’s media day. “As long as the spark is there, and that flame is there, and I wake up in the morning eager to train, to run, to box, to wrestle, I’ll continue to do it.

“Right now it’s there and that’s what I like to do. I want to continue to give work to those young guns that are coming up.”

Trinaldo has been competing under the UFC banner for an entire decade, and he returns to further that run this Saturday. “Massaranduba” takes on Randy Brown in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 211.

Trinaldo enters the fight on a two-fight winning streak and 5-1 in his past six outings. Although in a good position at 155 pounds, Trinaldo is not thinking about the rankings or title contention.

“It’s not to enter the rankings or fight for a belt, this is what I love to do,” Trinaldo said. “I look in the mirror and I ask myself, ‘What would you be doing instead?’ I love doing this. At first, I wanted to buy a house, a house for my brothers, a better life, but now I do this for myself. I love doing this.”
