The Carolina Panthers are about 10 hours from being on the clock in Round 1 of the 2023 NFL draft, and the fireworks will continue through the first nine or ten picks.

The Eagles currently have the 10th and 30th overall picks in the first round, and they’ll have four selections in the first 100 picks.

There’s an abundance of storylines centered around Philadelphia, including whether GM Howie Roseman covets Jalen Carter, Paris Johnson, or Bijan Robinson.

Here is a look at the complete order of picks for Round 1, which begins tonight at 8 p.m. ET.

2023 NFL Draft: Final Round 1 predictions for all 31 teams after the Aaron Rodgers trade

We’re making our final Round 1 predictions for all 31 teams ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft

We’re just hours away from the 2023 NFL draft, where the Philadelphia Eagles are gearing up to welcome a new crop of players to the roster.

Using the draft simulator from PFF, we fought off the urge to draft Bijan Robinson, picking the value of Ohio State All-American 0ffensive tackle Paris Johnson at No. 10 overall.

With their second pick in the first round, Howie Roseman gets a “unique” player with more value at No. 30 overall, securing Alabama’s Jahnyr Gibbs.

Here’s one final Round 1 mock ahead of Thursday night’s draft kickoff.

Ranking prospects the Eagles hosted on pre-draft visits by potential impact in 2023

We’re ranking the 2023 NFL draft prospects that the Philadelphia Eagles hosted on Top 30 visits by potential impact in 2023

The NFL draft is fast approaching, and the 2023 influx of talent comes at a reasonable time after a mass exodus of free agents on defense.

Only a tiny percentage of this incoming class will make their mark on the league as a rookie.

With Philadelphia signing Jalen Hurts to a massive deal, GM Howie Roseman needs all his picks to deliver the goods immediately.

With the draft just 24 hours out, we’re taking a closer look at the Eagles’ predraft visits and ranking them best on the potential impact this season.

Each NFL team met with the Top 30 prospects on their draft boards.

The players you see visiting respective team facilities can help outline organizational needs or serious interests.

Philadelphia has two first-round picks, and they’ve embraced the process, bringing in a host of top names that’ll be selected up and down the draft board.

2023 NFL draft: Alex’s final 7-round projections for Chargers

Find out how Chargers Wire’s Alex Katson thinks the 2023 NFL draft will play out for Los Angeles.

We are just one day away from the beginning of the 2023 NFL draft, an event bound to unite Chargers fans everywhere in their optimism about the future of the team.

(Okay, maybe not. But it will at least shift the talking points to something else.)

With 24 hours to go, here’s my crack at what the Chargers could do over the next three days. Keep in mind that while this is a predictive mock, it’s naturally influenced by a number of biases – familiarity with certain players, the big board on the mock draft simulator I use, things I would like to see the team do even if they bend tendencies a bit, etc. Now that we have that disclaimer out of the way, you’re not allowed to yell at me. Let’s get into it.

The Bucs’ best and worst case 2023 draft scenarios in Rounds 1-3

Here are a few moves that could be a best-case or worst-case scenario for the Bucs come draft night:

The NFL Draft is a whirlwind of unpredictability. Any one pick could alter the rest of the draft for one team or all of them. Nevertheless, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers still have best and worst case scenarios for how the draft could fall this week.

Starting with the 19th pick in the draft, the Bucs find themselves in the middle of the pack when it comes to draft capital. With their extra picks coming on Day 3 of the draft, they have limited room to maneuver upwards.

While Tampa addressed most of the issues at the top of their depth chart, some holes remain, particularly at offensive tackle. While several other positions require depth reinforcement, the strengths of this draft class should dictate where the Bucs will find the best value.

Here are the best and worst case scenarios for the Bucs in rounds one through three of the 2023 draft:

Albert Breer’s one-and-only mock draft has the Saints drafting a first-round DE

Albert Breer’s one-and-only Sports Illustrated mock draft has the Saints drafting a first-round defensive end after missing out on the position’s top options:

It sure seems like the New Orleans Saints are expecting to pick a defensive lineman in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft, and the one-and-only mock draft from Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer has them picking a pass rusher to line up off the edge. He has them taking Kansas State defensive end Felix Anudike-Uzomah at No. 29 overall:

The Saints are another potential trade-up team, perhaps for a pass rusher. But the way this has fallen, they find a hard-charging, stout, long defensive end who fits their mold for the edge. Now, they’d have to hope they get more out of him than they have with more recent first-rounders at the position (i.e., Marcus Davenport, Payton Turner).

Anudike-Uzomah isn’t as big as the Saints tend to favor at defensive end, weighing in at 6-foot-3 and 255 pounds with 33.5-inch arms, but he’s still got a significant edge on other first-round prospects like Nolan Smith, Will McDonald IV, and BJ Ojulari, and he might come closest to the prototype out of the second-tier pas rushers. He’s a very good athlete, too, having posted above-average numbers in the agility drills and beaten their thresholds in the jumps.

More importantly than all that Anudike-Uzomah was highly productive in college. A two-year starter at Kansas State, he made the most of those opportunities to rack up 20.5 sacks and 26.5 tackles for loss (plus 8 forced fumbles) in just 33 games. He brings a speed and flexibility element off the edge that the Saints have missed.

But will they consider him this early? The only sub-260-pound defensive ends the Saints have fielded in the last five years were Al-Quadin Muhammad (253 pounds), Carl Granderson (254), and Scott Patchan (251), all of whom were asked to bulk up before they saw significant time. And only Muhammad was drafted, and not until the sixth round. It would be a big shift in philosophy for the Saints to pick a player with Anudike-Uzomah’s size this soon.

That’s why New Orleans is being projected to trade up for a heavyset defensive end like Myles Murphy (who was picked at No. 20 in Breer’s mock draft) or Lukas Van Ness (taken at No. 8 overall). They stick to their prototypes to a stubborn degree and it limits their options. If either of those guys gets within range of a move up the board, we shouldn’t be shocked if the Saints make yet another first-round trade.

Colts’ 2023 NFL draft big board: Edge Rushers

Don’t be surprised if the Colts add another edge rusher in the draft.

The Indianapolis Colts, like all teams, will continue to look for depth additions and hidden gems at the edge rusher positions when the 2023 NFL draft arrives Thursday night.

Though the tandem of Kwity Paye and Dayo Odeyingbo is enticing, the Colts also added Samson Ebukam in free agency and brought back Tyquan Lewis on a one-year deal this offseason. It’s a solid room, but we know Chris Ballard will always look for pass-rush help.

It’s a strong edge rusher class with several prospects boasting upside while fitting what the Colts want to add to Gus Bradley’s defense.

As we break down the prospects by round, think of the “rounds” as tiers and when I believe the team should begin to consider drafting them.

We also created big boards at the following positions:

Quarterbacks Running Backs Wide Receivers Tight Ends Interior OL Offensive Tackles
Defensive Tackles Edge Rushers Linebackers Cornerbacks Safeties

Here’s a look at my big board for the edge rushers as it relates to the Colts in the 2023 NFL draft:

Ranking the positions most likely to be picked 10th overall by Eagles in NFL draft

We’re ranking the positions most likely to be picked by the Philadelphia Eagles at No. 10 overall.

We’re just days away from the 2023 NFL draft, where the Philadelphia Eagles are gearing up to welcome a new crop of players to the roster.

After quietly retooling the roster during the first wave of free agency, Howie Roseman has the Birds in a prime spot at tenth overall.

Philadelphia could look to trade back for an All-American running back or stand pat and draft the best available offensive tackle on the board.

For the sake of this article, we assume that the Eagles stay put at No. 10 overall and make a selection.

With that in mind, here are the positions most likely to be the pick with the 10th selection.

7-round New Orleans Saints mock draft at the beginning of draft week

The real thing is almost here. Check out our 7-round New Orleans Saints mock draft at the beginning of draft week from @DillySanders:

The time has almost come and the 2023 NFL draft is just a couple of days away. The New Orleans Saints have made a lot of moves this offseason that indicate they’re ready to compete, such as signing quarterback Derek Carr. Now, it’s their chance to add some young players to the roster.

New Orleans has eight selections in the draft, including the one they got for trading Sean Payton to the Denver Broncos. They are expected to address the trenches, add some defensive depth and maybe add some more weapons.

Here’s our final mock draft of the season before things kick off on Thursday night.
