Behold, the greatest ‘Family Feud’ Fast Money round ever courtesy of Rhys Darby

This is the greatest Family Feud Fast Money round you’ll ever see.

My jaw is on the floor here.

And by the time you watch this Celebrity Family Feud clip, yours will be too.

Rhys Darby stepped up in the first round of the five rapid-fire questions portion of the final — as you might know, you need 200 points to win the big money in the finale of the show, in which two contestants have a chance to put together that total — and delivered what might be the greatest performance I’ve ever seen.

It appeared to be all No. 1 answers, right down the line for a total of … 198 POINTS!

That’s right, just two points away from perfection. Unreal:

WOW.

WATCH: Chase Young owns fast money on Family Feud

Did you watch Chase Young absolutely crush his appearance on Family Feud?

We already reported to you that former Ohio State and current Washington Football Team defensive end Chase Young was ready to try his hand at Family Feud on Sunday night in a prerecorded episode. Did you watch?

If you did, you got to see Young absolutely star in something besides football. His younger, current NFL team beat the NFL legends and got a chance to play “fast money” to win some cash for charity. The team picked the game-wrecking edge rusher to lead things off and he absolutely crushed it.

How well did he do? Well, we’ll let the video speak for itself. Let’s just say that he left teammate Matt Judon with little work to do after he stepped away from Steve Harvey.

We’re beginning to wonder if there’s anything Chase Young can’t do if given the chance. As quick as he is at beating opposing tackles around the end, I guess it should be no surprise that he excelled at “fast money.”

Former Ohio State star Chase Young to appear on Family Feud

Former Ohio State defensive end Chase Young will appear with other NFL greats to compete for charity on the Family Feud.

Former Ohio State defensive end Chase Young has already accomplished a great deal in life. He was the 2019 Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, a unanimous All-American, drafted No. 2 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft, and was voted NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. And that’s just the shortlist.

Now Young will have another honor to add to his resume. The former Buckeye stand-out will be taking on one of America’s favorite and longest-running game shows, The Family Feud.

Young posted a shot of himself and Feud Host, Steve Harvey, on his personal Instagram account a few days ago to announce the news. The exact date of the airing has not been announced just yet, but it looks like the full series of Celebrity Family Feud will air this summer, which will include Young and other NFL stars.

It is also unknown how the teams will be set up, but taking a look at the background of Young’s picture we see “NFLPA Legends”. This might mean a competition between some retired greats and current stars. And you know with those competitive motors, we’re in for a treat.

We love watching these guys do their thing on the field. However, it is can be equally entertaining to watch players try to answer questions that are set up for a laugh.

The teams will be playing for charity and donate any winnings to a predetermined beneficiary of their choice. What a great way to give back and add a little comic relief at the same time.

Bruce Smith explains his mindset behind his hilariously awful ‘Family Feud’ answer

It makes a little more sense.

Pro Football Hall of Famer Bruce Smith lit the interwebs on fire when his answer in a celebrity edition of Family Feud led to host Steve Harvey dropping a “What the (expletive) did he just say?”

A reminder: the all-time great pass-rusher was in the final round of “Fast Money” and was asked “If Captain Hook was moonlighting as a handyman, he might replace his hook with what tool?” When he said “hammer,” it was already an answer … and then his brain shut down. So he said, “Penis.”

While speaking to The Dan Patrick Show, he took the world inside his brain at that moment (around the 42-minute mark):

“There is something about a time clock and a buzzer that, it makes you become confused when you’re running out of time and you don’t have an answer. I gave the No. 1 answer originally and then when that buzzer went off a couple of times, I guess I kind of panicked.”

Completely understandable, but why THAT word?

“As we were filming the show, there were multiple questions where all they talked about was sex. … I was already hot-wired to potentially give taht answer. I just needed the time and the space.”

Here is the full clip, and it turns out that Smith made up for his mistake:

Hall of Famer Bruce Smith’s awful ‘Family Feud’ answer got the best Steve Harvey reaction

What an answer … and what a reaction!

Bruce Smith is one of the greatest pass-rushers in NFL history and the owner of the most sacks of all time in league history.

But when it comes to Family Feud? Not so much when it came to one answer.

The former member of the Buffalo Bills and Washington’s team was with a group of fellow Hall of Famers who played on a celebrity edition of Family Feud, and he was given the all-important job of second position in the final-round “Fast Money,” which means he couldn’t repeat the answers of the first participant.

So when asked “If Captain Hook was moonlighting as a handyman, he might replace his hook with what tool?” he said “hammer,” which had already been said. Then, he couldn’t think of another tool. With the clock ticking, he said … “Penis.”

Check out how host Steve Harvey reacted:

Amazing.

Broncos WR Courtland Sutton will appear on ‘Celebrity Family Feud’ on June 12

Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton will be featured on ‘Celebrity Family Feud’ on Sunday.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton will appear on Celebrity Family Feud on Sunday, June 12 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

Sutton will play for a “Rising Stars” team with Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey, Colts linebacker Darius Leonard, Chiefs running back Damien Williams and Packers running back Aaron Jones.

Sutton’s squad will face the “Hall of Famers” team that features wide receiver Cris Carter, offensive tackle Orlando Pace, wide receiver Michael Irvin, linebacker Kevin Greene and defensive end Bruce Smith.

Both teams will be competing for charities. The “Rising Stars” will be playing for CHAMPS, “an organization dedicated to improving men’s health through education, screenings, referral options and advocacy,” according to the players’ association.

The “Hall of Famers” will be playing for the Professional Athletes Foundation, which is “the leading foundation assisting NFL Former Players through health and educational resources and the GU Player Assistance Trust Fund,” the NFLPA tweeted.

Sutton won’t be the first Broncos player to appear on Celebrity Family Feud. Star outside linebacker Von Miller was on the show in 2016 and former edge defender DeMarcus Ware was featured on the show in 2015.

Two Rams Hall of Famers to compete on ‘Celebrity Family Feud’

Orlando Pace and Kevin Greene will be on TV this weekend.

It may not be in the traditional football sense, but a pair of Rams will be on TV this Sunday night. The upcoming episode of ABC’s “Celebrity Family Feud” will feature two Rams on the NFLPA Hall of Famers team, which will square off against the Rising Stars. It airs on Sunday, July 12 at 8 p.m. ET.

Orlando Pace and Kevin Greene will represent the Rams this weekend, teaming up with Michael Irvin, Bruce Smith and Cris Carter. On the Rising Stars squad, it will be Marlon Humphrey, Darius Leonard, Courtland Sutton, Aaron Jones and Damien Williams.

This isn’t the first time a Rams player has appeared on “Family Feud.” In 2018, Todd Gurley and his family competed on the show, which is hosted by Steve Harvey. It’s also the fifth year in a row that the NFL will be represented on “Celebrity Family Feud.”

Pace is regarded as one of the best left tackles in NFL history, making seven Pro Bowls, being named a three-time All-Pro and winning one Super Bowl. He spent all but one year with the Rams, finishing his career with the Bears in 2009.

Greene’s resume is quite decorated, too, making the Pro Bowl five times and being selected to two All-Pro teams. He spent eight years with the Rams, recording 72.5 of his 160 career sacks in Los Angeles.

Family Feud Canada has given us one of the great game show moments ever

Her answer is wrong. It’s very wrong. But is she really that wrong?

We are apparently a game show website right now, with most of my colleagues covering the Jeopardy! GOAT tournament with the breathless excitement and in-depth analysis usually reserved for, like, gold medal games. And I want in on the fun.

So that’s right: It’s time for some Family Feud Canada coverage.

This clip happened on their new version of the show, and it is just so good:

It’s not the wrong answer that’s so good, though it is very good. It’s the confidence with which she unveils that answer. She heard “Popeye” and “food” and didn’t bother thinking about context or the fact that there is more than one iteration of Popeye in our zeitgeist.

She thought chicken. And she went for it, with gusto. And a dance.

In her defense, Popeye’s chicken is almost infinitely better than spinach. Any preparation.
