Georgia is a 20% favorite to land Dorian Barney per On3.

One of the top cornerbacks in the 2026 recruiting class has narrowed his list of finalists down to 12 schools. Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers have made the list.

LSU joins Alabama, Ohio State, Florida State, Oklahoma, Clemson, Colorado, Georgia, Tennessee, Notre Dame, USC and South Carolina in the running for a four-star cornerback from Suwanee, Georgia.

[autotag]Dorian Barney[/autotag] is a 6-foot-1, 170-pound, four-star cornerback from Suwanee, Georgia, where he plays for Peachtree Ridge High School. The Peachtree Ridge Lions finished the 2023 season 10-2 with a loss to Mill Creek in the second round of the GHSA 7A playoffs.

There are currently no Crystal Ball projections for Barney but Georgia is a 20% favorite to land him per On3. The LSU Recruiting class for 2026 currently does not have any commitments as Kelly and his staff are focused on trying to bring in one of the best classes in history for the 2025 recruiting class.

2026 Georgia cornerback prospect includes Tennessee football in top 12.

2025 cornerback prospect Dorian Barney announced his top 12 schools.

Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, Texas A&M, LSU, USC, Clemson, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Notre Dame and Colorado are Barney’s top 12 schools.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound four-star cornerback prospect is from Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee, Georgia.

The Vols are one of 10 Southeastern Conference schools to offer Barney a scholarship.

Tennessee offered a scholarship to Barney on Aug. 24, 2023. The Vols were also the first school to offer Barney a scholarship.

The Vols have seven commitments in its 2025 recruiting class: Quarterback George MacIntyre, defensive lineman Ethan Utley, tight end Jack Van Dorseiaer, cornerback Dylan Lewis, running back Justin Baker, wide receiver Joakim Dodson and cornerback Tyler Redmond.

Four-star cornerback recruit Dorian Barney checked out the University of Georgia this winter. Now, the Georgia Bulldogs have extended a scholarship offer to the talented in-state defensive back after he visited Georgia for a second time.

Barney plays high school football for Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee, Georgia. The four-star recruit is ranked as the No. 32 prospect in the country. Dorian Barney is the third-ranked cornerback in the class of 2026 and the seventh-ranked recruit in Georgia, per 247Sports. Barney is not far from being ranked as a five-star prospect.

The elite cornerback has recently visited the Clemson Tigers and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Barney has recent scholarship offers from Texas A&M, Florida, Auburn and Oregon. Barney also plays basketball for Peachtree Ridge.

The four-star prospect is ranked as the No. 49 recruit in the country. Dorian Barney is the No. 6 cornerback in the class of 2026 and the No. 8 recruit in Georgia, per 247Sports.

The elite cornerback has recently visited the Miami Hurricanes and has a visit scheduled with USC on March 2-3. Barney has recent scholarship offers from Texas A&M, Florida, Auburn, and Kentucky. Barney also plays basketball for Peachtree Ridge.

Auburn offers elite 2026 CB Dorian Barney

The Auburn Tigers have entered the race for Dorian Barney, one of the top players in the 2026 recruiting cycle.

The Auburn Tigers extended an offer to four-star cornerback [autotag]Dorian Barney[/autotag] on Sunday, putting themselves in the race for one of the best cornerbacks in the country.

A member of the 2026 recruiting class, Barney already has a dozen scholarship offers, including from Florida, Tennessee, and LSU. The Suwanee, Georgia native has not visited Auburn.

He is the No. 39 overall player and No. 8 cornerback in the 247Sports composite ranking. The 6-foot-1, 170-pounder is also the No. 8 player from the Peach State.

Barney is coming off an extremely productive sophomore season for Peachtree Ridge. He recorded four interceptions, defended 10 passes, and made 32 tackles in 11 games. That was enough to land him on the second team of the MaxPreps 2023 Sophomore All-America Team.

While the 2024 recruiting cycle isn’t even finished yet, Auburn has already landed two promising 2026 prospects in Denairius Gray and interior offensive lineman Kail Ellis. The two commitments are enough to give Auburn the No. 8 class in the country

The Peachtree Ridge Lions are one of the best teams in Class 7A in Georgia. They are 10-1 this season and they are preparing for defending state champion, Mill Creek, in round two of the GHSA Playoffs.

Tennessee offered a scholarship to 2026 four-star cornerback Dorian Barney.

The 6-foot-1, 160-pound cornerback is from Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee, Georgia. He played his freshman season at Eagle’s Landing Christina Academy in McDonough, Georgia.

Barney is the No. 32 overall prospect and No. 3 cornerback in the class of 2026. He ranks as the No. 1 cornerback and No. 5 player in Georgia, according to On3 industry rankings.

Barney recorded 32 tackles, eight interceptions, six pass breakups and 137 interception return yards last season.

The 2026 prospect holds notable offers from South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech and UCF.
