Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter track listing may include a Dolly Parton Jolene cover and fans are so pumped

A Beyonce Jolene cover is what we need right now.

Jolene is one of those all-time great songs that should be left as is, a Dolly Parton tune so perfect that I think it should be untouched.

That is, unless it’s Beyoncé covering it.

And that may be the case, as the possible track listing for her Act II: Cowboy Carter dropped, as we get set for the country-themed album to release on Friday, March 29.

Among the titles in the really cool poster-esque post is Jolene, and if that’s really the case — maybe it’s a cover, maybe it’s a remix, maybe it’s a duet with Dolly herself — it’s going to be epic.

The Dallas Cowboys enjoyed a glorious Thanksgiving celebration, taking the Washington Commanders to the slaughterhouse by the score of 45-10. Dallas had a comfortable lead heading into halftime, when the incomparable Dolly Parton came out and wowed the world by donning a Cowboys cheerleader outfit for her performance. Twitter reacted accordingly.

Once the game resumed, it took Dallas until the fourth quarter to resume their scoring barrage, but when they did, it was another incredible display. From turkey legs, Salvation Army kettles, the combination of both, it was a great day for Cowboys Nation. Tony Romo made Jim Nantz squirm with his commitment to talking about Dolly Parton’s halftime show

Tony Romo was really committed to talking about Dolly Parton’s halftime performance during Commanders-Cowboys.

After Dolly Parton’s spectacular halftime performance during the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders game, CBS Sports commentator Tony Romo got a little weird while providing the post-show recap.

Romo kept talking … and talking … and talking … about Parton during the transition from the performance to the game as his booth partner Jim Nantz just sat there and tried everything he could to change the subject.

You can feel the awkwardness flowing in the room and Romo continues to talk about Parton and Nantz just wants him to talk about the giant football game going on behind them.

For Nantz (and the rest of us at home), we just hope that he doesn’t have to listen to Romo be super weird about other halftime performers in the future.

Dolly Parton won Thanksgiving with an awesome halftime performance in a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader outfit

Dolly Parton’s Thanksgiving halftime performance was just awesome.

Less than a week after entertaining the Tennessee crowd at Neyland Stadium with “Rocky Top,” music icon Dolly Parton ventured down to Texas to perform at halftime for the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving game against the Washington Commanders.

It was the Thanksgiving performance of the day, as Parton sang for the crowd a medley of songs that included a rendition of Queen’s iconic “We Are the Champions/We Will Rock You.”

Jim Nantz had the perfect Dolly Parton joke to ring in her Thanksgiving halftime performance

Parton fans and NFL fans alike were in for a treat as Parton continued to show the world why she’s so beloved after all of these years.

You can see a clip of the halftime performance below.

Parton hasn’t lost a step after all of these years, and we bet she’ll continue in the years to come to provide audiences with the same kind of high-caliber performances that have been a hallmark of her spectacular career.

You can see pictures from Parton’s Thanksgiving performance below.

Dolly Parton put on a fun show at halftime of Commanders-Cowboys

The great Dolly Parton was the entertainment at halftime of Thanksgiving’s Washington Commanders-Dallas Cowboys game.

And she picked out the perfect outfit for the performance.

The wonderful singer, who has an album “Rockstar” out currently, wore a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader outfit for her show.

Parton also did a PSA as the Cowboys kicked off their season of giving with the Salvation Army.

Jim Nantz had the perfect Dolly Parton joke to ring in her Thanksgiving halftime performance

We saw what you did there, Jim Nantz.

Before beloved music icon Dolly Parton performed at halftime of Thanksgiving’s Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders game, CBS Sports broadcaster Jim Nantz had the perfect joke for the occasion.

As his broadcast partner Tony Romo wanted him to sing a little bit of Parton’s music for all the viewers at home, Nantz refrained by hinting at one of Parton’s biggest hits from the movie 9 to 5.

“Ah, hey, listen, I’m just a guy who works 9 to 5. I can’t do that. I mean, you can, though!” Nantz joked with Romo, which made everyone do the Leonardo DiCaprio point-and-shout meme from Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood.

Hey, that’s a pretty great Parton joke there from Nantz, one that’s pretty easy to spot but funny all the same.

Parton’s arrival had to be one of the clear highlights of Thanksgiving television this year, and Nantz had a really nice zinger to mark the occasion.
