Stanford rushers carried the ball 46 times for only 89 yards. The Cardinal defense had no answers for Ducks QB Bo Nix, who threw for 290 yards and 4 TDs.

Colorado took down Arizona State 27-24 on Saturday to push as 3-point road favorites. QB Shedeur Sanders went 26 of 42 for 239 yards and a TD while scoring an additional TD on the ground. After a game-tying TD from Arizona State with 50 seconds left, Colorado marched down the field and kicked the game-winning field goal with 12 seconds to go to secure the victory.

Looking at Saturday’s USC at Colorado college football odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The USC Trojans (4-0, 2-0 Pac-12) travel to meet the Colorado Buffaloes  (3-1, 0-1) on Saturday at Folsom Field in Boulder. Kickoff is scheduled for noon ET (FOX). Below, we look at USC vs. Colorado odds from FanDuel Sportsbook. Also see: SportsbookWire’s college football picks and predictions.

The Trojans started a bit slow on the road against Arizona State, but USC did enough to earn the 42-28 win. It was actually USC’s lowest-scoring game of the season, as it had scored 56 or more points in the 1st 3 outings. The Over is 3-1 in 4 games for the Trojans.

The Buffaloes opened the season with 3 consecutive victories, capturing the imagination of fans everywhere in the Rocky Mountain State. Colorado, and  coach Deion Sanders, have certainly been polarizing. Many discounted the 3-0 start due to ease of schedule, and looked forward to seeing how the Buffaloes did against Oregon in the Pac-12 opener. The result against the Ducks was not good, as CU fell 42-6 and out of the top 25.

The offseason addition of Sanders has brought many high-caliber recruits to Colorado and ignited an otherwise struggling program. The Buffs were just 1-11 last season and finished 1-8 in the Pac-12.

Oregon added Nix from Auburn last season, and he threw for 29 TD and 7 INTs in 2022. He’s been electric through 3 weeks. Oregon finished 15th last year in the AP poll at 9-3.

The Colorado State Rams (0-1) and the Colorado Buffaloes (2-0) meet on Saturday at Folsom Field in Boulder. Kickoff is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET (ESPN). Below, we look at Colorado State at Colorado odds from BetMGM Sportsbook. Also see: SportsbookWire’s college football picks and predictions.

The Rams got off to an inauspicious start, falling 50-24 to Washington State in Fort Collins on Aug. 2. The team had a bye last Saturday, getting 2 full weeks to prepare for the Coach Prime experience in Boulder.

Colorado State was gouged for 556 total yards of offense, and 466 yards through the air, which doesn’t bode well for facing Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders, who already has completed 69 of 89 passes (77.5%) for 903 yards, 6 TD and 0 INT in just 2 games.

After a high-scoring game at TCU in the opener, CU was much better defensively against Nebraska at home Saturday. It allowed 341 total yards, while limiting Big Red to just 119 yards through the air. Colorado also forced 4 turnovers, winning the turnover ratio battle with a plus-3.

Colorado is No. 22 in the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll.

Nebraska lost 13-10 vs. Minnesota on Saturday after losing a 10-3 lead with  2:32 left as the Golden Gophers scored a TD on 4th and 10. Minnesota then came up with an interception on the Cornhuskers next drive and hit a 47-yard game-winning FG with no time left for the win.

Colorado captured national headlines with its impressive 45-42 upset win vs. the TCU Horned Frogs, last year’s National Championship runner-up. The biggest storylines for that game were the success of coach Deion Sanders and the Heisman-like performances from QB Shedeur Sanders and WR/CB Travis Hunter.

The new-look Colorado Buffaloes look to take down the Cinderella of 2022 in the TCU Horned Frogs as both teams get their seasons underway Saturday. Kickoff is at noon ET (FOX). Below, we look at Colorado vs. TCU odds from FanDuel Sportsbook. Also see: SportsbookWire’s college football picks and predictions.

Both Colorado and TCU come into this game with new looks all over the field. The Buffaloes have brought in more than 70 new players while the Horned Frogs must replace their 2 best players in QB Max Duggan and WR Quinton Johnston, both of whom departed for the NFL.

While Duggan was stellar in 2022, finishing 2nd in the Heisman voting, the Horned Frogs will be able to rely on QB Chandler Morris. Morris was supposed to be the starter last year but was injured in TCU’s opener vs. Colorado and didn’t see action again until November.

Colorado, after a 1-11 season in 2022, made the move of the offseason and hired Deion Sanders to take over the program. He brought with him QB Shedeur Sanders and WR/CB  Travis Hunter who transferred from Jackson State.

He also flipped top CB Cormani McClain from Miami at the last second of the 2023 recruiting period. While this is a good core, the surrounding cast is going to be a work in progress. That may be trouble against TCU and its veteran team and it may start the coach Prime Era off with a big loss.
