Denver at Oregon State odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Wednesday’s Denver at Oregon State odds and lines, with college basketball expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Denver Pioneers (9-4) take on the Oregon State Beavers (6-6) Wednesday. Tip from Gill Coliseum is at 10 p.m. ET (Pac-12 Network). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Denver vs. Oregon State odds, and make our expert college basketball picks, predictions and bets.

Denver — a team that has struggled to score for seasons — has gone Over in 10 of 11 games this season that had a total. However, the Beavers have only produced 3 Overs of their 11 games with a total.

Oregon State is a lower-tier Pac-12 team and will not make the tournament, but it should still be able to compete with Denver — although it might be a bit closer than Beavers fans want it to be.

Denver at Oregon State picks and predictions

Prediction

Oregon State 72, Denver 68

Moneyline

PASS.

Oregon State (-370) is the better team despite having the worse record.

Playing at home will also make a difference for the Beavers who are 6-1 on the home court while the Pioneers are 3-3 on the road, but there’s no value on the moneyline.

Against the spread

BET DENVER +8.5 (-115).

With Denver able to score as it has this season, this game should not be a blowout. While Oregon State will win, I can see the Pioneers keeping this game close to the end, and 8.5 points is a few too many.

Over/Under

BET OVER 137.5 (-115).

Denver is 10-1 O/U this season, but Oregon State is only 3-8. I think Denver will keep this game close enough to force the Beavers to score, so this game could reach the low 140s. The OVER 137.5 (-115) is my favorite play in this matchup.

First look: Colorado at Oregon State odds and lines

Looking at Saturday’s Colorado Buffaloes at Oregon State Beavers college football odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

The Colorado Buffaloes (1-5, 1-2 Pac-12) travel to Corvallis to battle the Oregon State Beavers (5-2, 2-2) Saturday at Reser Stadium. Kickoff is at 8 p.m. ET (Pac-12 Network). Below, we look at Colorado vs. Oregon State odds from Tipico Sportsbook; check back for all our college football picks and predictions.

After a bye week and firing its coach, Colorado went into Berkley and beat the Cal Bears 20-13 in overtime for their 1st victory of the season. Along with Michigan State gaining their own overtime victory over Wisconsin, the Spartans and Buffaloes were the final 2 Power 5 teams to gain a victory over FBS schools this season.

Oregon State beat Washington State 24-10 Saturday for a 2nd consecutive win – after dropping back-to-back conference games to USC and Utah. While this may not seem like much, Saturday’s victory puts the Beavers 1 win away from bowl eligibility with 5 games to play. This is a large step forward for a team that has regularly been near the bottom of the Pac-12.

Colorado vs. Oregon State head-to-head

Colorado holds a 3-1 series lead in the past 4 meetings between the rivals.

Each of the past 4 meetings have gone over the 50.5 total listed for this one. Only once has either team scored less than 33 points. That was in a 47-6 victory by Colorado in 2016. All other games were not only decided by 1 score but also went at least 16.5 points over this listed total.

Colorado is not the same team this year as in years past. It is still giving up a lot of points and is 4-2 O/U this season. This should be another Over.

First look: Oregon State at Oregon odds and lines

Previewing the Oregon State Beavers at Oregon Ducks Week 13 matchup, with college football odds, trends and head-to-head records.

The Oregon State Beavers (7-4, 5-3 Pac-12) and No. 11 Oregon Ducks (9-2, 6-2) clash in a Saturday afternoon game in Eugene, Ore. The showdown at Autzen Stadium is slated for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff. Below, we look at the Oregon State vs. Oregon odds and lines; check back for our college football picks and predictions.

Oregon State defeated Arizona State 24-10 last Saturday. The Beavers head into their regular-season finale on a two-game winning streak. In the two wins – over Stanford and Arizona State – Oregon State allowed a combined 496 total yards. Offensively, the Beavers are a run-first group. Their 229.5 rushing yards per game rank eighth in the nation.

The Ducks were routed at Utah 38-7 Saturday. Oregon logged a season-low 294 total yards in the setback. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak.

Oregon will be looking for a measure of retribution in the 2021 renewal of an in-state rivalry that dates back to 1894. Last season, the Beavers upended the Ducks 41-38 with a last-minute, go-ahead touchdown.

The Ducks lead this all-time series 66-48-10. OSU’s win in 2020 snapped a three-game Oregon win streak. Since 2008, the Ducks are 11-2 against the Beavers.

Oregon State has not won at Autzen Stadium since 2007, but against the number makes for a different story. The road team is 11-3-1 ATS in the last 15 meetings. The Beavers are 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven games in Eugene.
