Can you name the fastest Spartan on the offensive side of the ball?

EA Sports released its new College Football 25 video game this week, and there has been a ton of attention around the game. One fun element of the video game returning after 10 years is the player and team ratings.

Of all the offensive Spartans, EA Sports has pegged a trio of players as the three fastest guys on that side of the ball: running back Brandon Tullis, wide receiver Austin Clay and wide receiver Alante Brown. All three players have a speed rating of 92.

MSU rated as one of worst Power Four schools in new College Football 25 video game

MSU is rated as one of the worst power four teams in the newly released College Football 25 video game from EA Sports

Michigan State is rated as one of the worst power four teams in the newly released College Football 25 video game from EA Sports.

The Deluxe Edition of College Football 25 was released on Monday afternoon, which has personally filled up my social media feeds with reviews and general excitement for the game. One of the interesting things I came across was a breakdown of each power four team’s overall team rating and somewhat surprisingly Michigan State was rated as one of the worst.

The Spartans came in at an overall team rating of 80, which ranks as the second-lowest team rating in the Big Ten with Northwestern. Only Maryland at 79 overall is lower than the Spartans and Wildcats.

Nationally, the Spartans are tied with a number of schools at No. 53 out of 65 power four teams. Check out the complete team breakdown of overall ratings below — courtesy of College Football Report:

Alabama has top-3 offense in EA Sports’ College Football 25

Jalen Milroe and the Alabama offense is one of the highest-rated units in the upcoming EA Sports College Football 25 game!

New Alabama Crimson Tide football head coach Kalen DeBoer has a strong background of producing high-quality offenses. In 2024, he inherits a roster loaded with talent, especially on the offensive side of the ball. One the key contributors returning to the team for the upcoming season is star quarterback Jalen Milroe.

Milroe will have the benefit of being coached by DeBoer and arguably having the strongest offensive line in college football, as well as some impressive skill position players.

The Crimson Tide offense in 2024 will be the star of the show, and EA Sports has taken notice of that fact by ranking Alabama No. 3 in the offensive unit rankings for its upcoming video game, EA Sports College Football 25.

The only teams ahead of Alabama are the Georgia Bulldogs and the Oregon Ducks, but this may be subject to change as the season progresses.

Overall, the Tide’s offense received a ranking of 91, which is tied with the Texas Longhorns. This leaves the team only three points lower than the rankings for Georgia and Oregon, both of which received an overall offensive ranking of 94.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow Alabama football news as the start to the 2024 college football season approaches.
