Which current SEC college football programs are the greatest of all-time according to the UPI and USA Today Coaches final polls?

Using a ranking system taking all the AP final college football polls and assigning 25 points to the national champion, 24 for the final No. 2 team, 23 for the No. 3 team on down.

There’s no question who the elephant is in the room – it’s Alabama’s spot up top and it’s not even close. However, after 2019 and the national championship, LSU moved past Tennessee to the No. 2 all-time spot, and Georgia is now tied with the Vols.

One note on this – this is made up of current SEC programs and factoring in their histories. Obviously Texas A&M, Missouri, and others are new to the SEC world over the last few years, but all of their records count.

Again, this is based on the CFN formula. This isn’t any official ranking coming from USA TODAY or the Coaches Poll.

USC is easily the top Pac-12 program of all-time according to the rankings, UCLA is on an island at second, and then it’s a showdown among the next several programs.

Michigan State Basketball still receiving votes in Ferris Mowers Men’s College Basketball poll

Michigan State has still received some votes in the latest coaches poll.

[jwplayer mDeBVqN6]

Michigan State Basketball has had a rough couple of weeks. After suffering a tough loss to Purdue, the Spartans have been unable to play any games and redeem themselves due to a COVID-19 breakout on the team. However, the Spartans are still receiving some votes in the latest Ferris Mowers Men’s College Basketball poll.

MSU still received four votes in the latest poll, despite their struggles.

In terms of Big Ten schools, the conference is very well represented in the top ten. Iowa, Michigan, and Wisconsin all sit in the top ten despite Michigan’s recent loss to Minnesota.

Auburn finishes well out of final Amway Coaches Poll rankings

In no surprise, Auburn finishes the 2020 college football season outside of the top 25 in the last Amway Coaches Poll.

The 2020 football season ended with Auburn looking from the outside of the rankings.

In the last Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports, the Tigers received just 17 votes, good for 32nd in the country. It is a disappointing end to a struggle of a season in which Auburn started as high as No. 8 prior to playing a game.

Alabama, who defeated Ohio State for the College Football Playoff National Championship on Monday night, received all 60 first-place votes.

Others receiving votes: Wisconsin 38, Oregon 36, NC State 35, Army 34, Appalachian State 30, Tulsa 30, Auburn 17, Nevada 17, Memphis 14, Utah 11, Ole Miss 10, SMU 7, West Virginia 7, Missouri 6, Colorado 6, Boise State 6, UAB 4, Washington 2, Marshall 2, Kentucky 1

Dropped from rankings: NC State 22, Tulsa 25
